In the restaurant at the hotel, a variety of food, every day, fresh fruits and vegetables, a variety of hearty and light salads, side dishes, meat and fish delicacies, and, of course, hot meat, fish and vegetable dishes, sweets. Tasty, lick your fingers )) Excellent quality service by the waiters. Good location of the hotel in the old town. Nearby is the Venetian fortress "Fortezza Castle" and the port. Locals call the old city, the second Venice. The Greeks are very good-natured, often smiling, always happy to tell you how to get to a particular place. I visited excursions that were purchased from our hotel guide. I was on the island of Gramvousa and in Balos Bay, the kiss of the three seas of the Aegean, Ionian and Libyan. It is incredibly beautiful, like in a fairy tale . .

Hotel - the road from Heraklion airport to the hotel Ideon takes 1.5 hours along the serpentine. They took breakfast, monotonous, but always enough (dairy, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit). Small swimming pool. Clean, quiet, there are no complaints about the hotel itself - we can recommend it. There are few Russians.

Located on the seashore (difficult to swim large stones) within the old town, the old fortress within walking distance. The location of the hotel makes it interesting to spend evenings walking along the old streets, many shops, cafes.
Beach - to the beach with sun loungers (9 euros, 2 beds, 1 umbrella) 15-20 minutes walk, large beach strip, sand, it is convenient to swim with children. You can relax with your umbrella on a towel. On the way to the beach with sunbeds there is a wild beach, they also swim on it.
Other (important) - in taverns where the price of seafood dishes is indicated for 1 kg, it is not profitable to eat, frankly expensive - do not hesitate to study the menu first.
