We arrived at the hotel in the evening for dinner. Settled within 15-20 minutes. The room is almost the farthest from the reception. We had 2 connection rooms. Entrance from the terrace, you go into one room of 2 places. , and from it you can get into the second 2 + 1. The room with a terrace is light and cozy, but in the second one there is some kind of window, dark as in the basement. in both rooms there was a supply of dampness. Cleaned every day, in good faith.
The restaurant is very decent in terms of appearance and food. Of course, you can’t compare with Turkey, but you will always be full. Considering that we were in Greece, we would like to see more than 1 type of olives on the table, unfortunately. Breakfast and dinner are held in the main restaurant next to the reception, lunch in a restaurant on the street. If I had a rest in the summer in the heat, I think I would not be very happy about it.
Have never been to the pool. On the beach, sun loungers with umbrellas are paid (I don’t remember, I didn’t pay), towels are 70 cents, you can bring your own, of course, but then how can you use them salty and wet for a whole week? We had such a side that there was always a shadow (near the room) so everything did not want to dry, we had to dry our children's clothes on the beach. I've never been to the pool so I can't comment. The weather was excellent. The first couple of days it was not very warm, and then it was hot (especially when we were poking around Katerina in search of a fur coat). In the evening they went to dinner in shorts and a T-shirt, in the first two days they wrapped themselves in jeans and long-sleeved sweaters. In general, the weather was like a fairy tale for this time, we were very worried that it would be cool and rainy. The sea was warm, the child was swimming for 2.5 years.

The hotel area is not as chic as I read in the reviews, I would say none, it reminded me of some kind of sanatorium.
Katerini. You can get there by public transport. There he is very worthy, huge comfortable buses, although the distance is only 30-40 km. There is a ticket like 3 or 3 euros. They go on schedule, you can ask the travel agency where they sell excursions. You can go there just by waiting for the bus at the bus stop, buy a ticket back at the bus station at the box office, the bus was almost completely packed, it’s better not to risk being left without a seat and buy a ticket at the box office. Of course, there are not as many shops with fur coats as I read on the Internet. The main big ones with good fur coats are on the main street, and on the small streets there are not very fur coats, as for me. The cost is different depending on the quality of the fur, there are not expensive and expensive, but definitely cheaper than ours. I bought a short half-ass under the belt, a 7/8 sleeve, a model a la Chanel for 1600 euros or 2000 dollars (I carried dollars, I read that it comes out cheaper, no, it’s still the same, there’s no point in carrying dollars). They immediately announced 1800 euros and immediately said that they would give back for 1600, they did not concede any more. "As a gift" they gave a varnished belt and long gloves under a fur coat. Mom bought a very short haircut, but very beautiful and stylish, light (and I also have light) for 1800, the seller didn’t bargain much, lost only 100 euros. I don't know how some people bargain for 400 euros? They were very satisfied with the purchases, only now I had to go there for two days in a row, because they didn’t buy before the siesta, and there was no desire to sit there waiting from 13 to 18.
In the mornings 9.00 and 10.00 from the hotel there is a free bus to the village of Leptokarya - about 3-5 km from the hotel. You need to sign up in advance, but it's not clear why. They record everyone who wants to, so every time there were not enough seats, they rode standing up, no one objected. Shops open there from 10.00 at 13-14.00 siesta begins, and so everywhere, in Katerini-Paralia, only shops with fur coats open at 11.00, horror. There is nothing special to see in Leptokarya. We ordered a local company (she is there alone) an excursion to Meteora - 55 euros for two. There is a Russian-speaking guide, but she does not accompany all excursions. We had in English. We were not particularly bothered by this, most of it was understandable to us in English. I think we would have liked a self-guided tour in a rented car much more, because. left to himself, no one limits in time and does not say what time to do. Lunch was not included in the price, but it was delivered. I wanted to feel the local flavor and admire the Meteors at their foot in the village of Kastraki, naive. They fed us in some eatery, with a la buffet.
Greece did not impress me, there are no landscapes, there is an airport-hotel on the way. I think you definitely need to rent a car and drive around to see the country, then the impressions will be completely different.
