So I got to write a review. I rested at the hotel in June 2015. The location of the hotel is 5-7 minutes from the sea along the main street of the town. As for the hotel, it’s good for a deuce, they clean it cleanly, change towels, there was soap. But the only negative (I lived overlooking the street) is very poor sound insulation, at first I thought that my balcony was open.

As for the hotel, it’s good for a deuce, they clean it cleanly, change towels, there was soap. But the only negative (I lived overlooking the street) is very poor sound insulation, at first I thought that my balcony was open. And while cars are walking and driving on the street, it is very difficult to fall asleep (for those who still like to fall asleep in silence). As for the owners of the hotel, they are really very nice people, thanks to them for a pleasant stay!

10 days of the velvet season spent with a friend in Greece!! ! settled in Philippos. the owner of the hotel, Vasily, met us and put us in the room. The view from the window disappointed us a little, there were neighboring hotels nearby. We asked and they moved us to a room with access to the main street !! ! the view from our balcony on the 4th floor pleased us, it turned out to be an excellent observation deck on the mountains, the sea, passers-by! for those who like quieter rest, it is better to choose a room on the opposite side.

The hotel is in a great location. Near the beach, souvenir shops, grocery supermarkets, fur shops, a bus stop. Hotel employees Nina and Valya will definitely tell you how and where to buy bus tickets.
Vasily, Maria and Panaetis (the owners of the hotel) are a great family. They love their job. And all guests are warmly welcomed with a sincere smile! Maria, not knowing the Russian language, managed to pay attention to us, even treat us with sweets! A trifle, but nice! However, Vasily and Panaetis were also interested in our affairs on a regular basis!!!
I don't like going to the same place twice, but I would definitely come back!

I wanted to not only splash in the sea, try the national cuisine, but also show my son the history of ancient Greece, nature, interesting places. Therefore, we walked a lot, went on excursions, made hiking routes around Olympus. Paralia Katerinis is convenient for any kind of recreation - active and relaxing, it is advantageous for its location in relation to excursion routes.

The Greeks generously serve portions, and then they also treated us to some dessert. After excursions, walks, swimming, it is nice to return to your hotel, which has become home for this time.
Of course, we were lucky with the hotel: cozy, small, neat, clean, pretty, inexpensive, compact, comfortable, with very kind and hospitable hosts and workers, delicious and varied breakfasts. The hotel has two areas for breakfast - in a closed room and under a canopy on the street among the greenery. You can walk up the stairs to your floor, or take the elevator if you want. The rooms have everything you need - air conditioning, refrigerator, hairdryer, shower, spacious balcony. So we had a great rest.
Adviсe:
- be sure to visit the meteors, because it is unlike anything seen before.
- do not rush to buy a tour from Mouzenidis, because It's very expensive, but the guides are good. You can take a very cheap tour, but not with a guide, but with a group guide and not learn anything about some interesting place. Therefore, it is better to be interested in where there is an excursion in Russian + low payment.
- Greeks are very friendly and hospitable people, please leave the same good impressions about yourself in this amazing country.
