We flew to Greece in May with my sister. We chose the Ioni hotel in a small resort town on the Aegean coast on the Greek mainland. This region is ideal for those who want to combine a beach holiday with trips to the main attractions of Greece, since all the most important and significant is located on the mainland.
From the arrival in Ioni, the trip immediately took on a positive color. As soon as we entered the hotel, we were greeted by a pleasant and sweet lady receptionist. Check-in went smoothly, we were accommodated in a good double room. Both in the hotel and in the room it is very pleasant to be, everywhere is clean and tidy. The hotel itself is located right in the center of the town, everything you need (from currency exchange offices to food markets) is at hand.
On days when we did not visit any excursions, we went to the beach (it is very close to the hotel, 20 m) sunbeds and umbrellas for an additional fee, and in the evening the city came to life and the streets were filled with people. We liked to walk to the port, where we really liked the restaurant where delicious seafood is prepared.
It was also nice to realize that we live near the Greek gods - Olympus was not far from us. The landscapes of Greece, of course, are amazing, we are very glad that we were finally able to see all this fabulous beauty and touch the Greek culture, which has such a rich history.
