we arrived on the island in the last two weeks of the month and the weather pleasantly pleased us during the day + 30-35, in the evening + 22-24 and the warm, warm, warm and clear sea, which is still needed after the rainy and cold summer of St. Petersburg. Green hotel with banana palms, vines near the tavern, eucalyptus alley to the sea, various palm trees and flowers. The food was beyond praise (the hotel was almost all populated). Very tasty and varied. The chef is Greek and spoiled with local cuisine. You pour alcohol for yourself and its quality and variety are better than in 5 stars in Egypt and 4 stars in Turkey. We were very lucky and there was no "tagil rules". We rented a car near the hotel (it is more expensive through a guide) and rode around the island (approximately 40 km by 70 km), so it will not be difficult to get around it along the calm roads of the island. Be sure to visit the capital-port of Kos, the soul and body rested sitting on the embankment to see the Turkish coast with its buildings. The evening sun illuminates the city in a special way. Be sure to drive to Kefalos, the views of the mountain, the bay, and even better from the mountain, enchant. Be sure to visit the thermal spring - such a unity of people from different countries and religions on a narrow piece of land inspires hope that ordinary people will always understand each other if they want to. The north of the island is 25 km of sandy beaches and a sandy entrance to the water. The south of the island is stone slabs and you can’t enter the water without special shoes, it also applies to the western and eastern parts of the island. We are very pleased that we ended up in a hotel where everyone smiles at you as a good friend, the staff speaks Russian (special thanks to Maria at the reception who helped with orientation and told a little about the island). If you want to swim in the sea and get drunk on positive and peacefulness, then the island of Kos is waiting for you to visit. If it works out, we will definitely come to the island again and to this hotel.
