When I visited Corfu for the first time I stayed at Louis Grand. Therefore, in the review, I will sometimes compare "Louis Corcyra Beach" with him. Maybe this will help someone make a choice.
Sea
First of all, I want to note that the sea is not at all as bad as it is sometimes written. Perhaps it depends on the season (I was in June-July), but until 11 am and after 6 pm the sea is clear. The Louis corporation is generally characterized by gigantomania, but in a room in this hotel it was expressed especially clearly. Entering our triple room, we, without saying a word, said "Wow! ". You can actually ride a bike there.
Two huge rooms, two air conditioners (for some reason, a friend had one for the same money), two refrigerators and two TVs. 4 beds, one of which is double. Well, a balcony, of course (with a dryer). There are a lot of cabinets and drawers, only hangers, as usual, are not enough. But there are spare pillows.
There is a safe in the room, but you have to pay for it separately. However,
we often left gadgets and money in drawers - nothing was stolen.
Cleaning
It's all right here. However, it seemed to me that somehow a towel thrown on the floor (namely, in European hotels it is supposed to show that you want to replace it), was not replaced, but hung back. But I'm not sure.
Receptionist
Two years ago, almost no one spoke Russian in Corfu, and now there are employees with a Russian flag on their uniforms. But they are few. However, with a minimum knowledge of English, you will not have problems. All requests (especially complaints about breakdowns) are responded to quickly and adequately.
However, something that is not quite standard may not be understood (not because they do not want to help, but because they do not understand what they want from them and how to do it). For example, it took me some time to print boarding passes after online check-in. Don't lose hope, wait for the shift change, most likely with another employee

It is not difficult to drive around the island, the roads are good, the people are not reckless (apparently because mostly bourgeois tourists drive, and the Greeks themselves sit on the benches and complain about Angela Merkel : )
The only problem is that there are some very narrow roads that are very difficult to pass. I didn't mess with them.
Tours
I recommend to take a car and go to Paleokastritsa and Achilleion (in this order, as it is opposite to the order of tourist groups). Achilleion has audio guides in Russian.
Last time I took excursions from a local travel agency - it was terrible. Absolutely illiterate guide + 3 hours to pick up / transport tourists to hotels and forcibly deliver them to stores.
You can go to the water park (our family really likes it - clean, green, many good slides for different ages)
or by public transport (2 buses, transfer in Corfu, 2.5 euros one bus from the nose),
or by taxi (20 euros one way),
or take a car (40 euros per day),
or buy a ticket at a hotel or in Gouvia.
A ticket is tickets for the water park itself + 10 euros from the nose. Moreover, they are not taken from the hotel, but from the city bus stop.
It looks like it’s better for the family to go by car, but that unrealistically narrow road leads to the water park : (
