We booked this hotel with friends on our own, in order to be able to stay for a couple of days in Kastoria after a one-day shopping tour, in order to calmly wander around the fur coat stores and be able to choose them, and you can get higher discounts, due to visiting them on your own , without accompanying persons. The issue price is 40 euros per room for one and 50 euros for two with BB. Rooms 50.51, 52.53 on the fifth floor. All of them overlooked the road and the lake in one way or another. Not to say that it is noisy, but if the balcony door is ajar, you can hear it completely. Almost no one drives at night. The hotel is, as it were, the first building at the entrance to the city itself, if you go from Thessaloniki. That is, out of the way. The hotel has no territory, it is surrounded by a road on all four sides, there is only a summer cafe on the terrace. The town is small and you can walk to civilization in 15-20 minutes along the lake.
At the reception, a nice girl tried her best to help, all the time asking if we needed anything, but she didn’t understand a word of Russian. Room cleaning was no problem. The hall is very decent, there is even a real fireplace with a real fire, where you can warm yourself in an armchair.
The rooms are so-so. Quite clean, but a bit tired. Everything is old, the TV from the last century looks especially pathetic. For a couple of days to spend the night is fine. Breakfast is weak, but you can find something to eat. At least everything that is, everything is of high quality. The hotel has very fast Wi-Fi, just amazed. Download movies in BD quality. There is no password, just click ok.
In general, I recommend for an independent visit to the city and those tourists who plan to buy a fur coat. I made a small video cut of the hotel. Watch in high quality 1080p here
