Hotel SHIT! Don't be fooled by the photos - in real life it's completely different. We vacationed with my husband from 20.06. 24 to 30.06. 24 is a complete disappointment. And so in order - at the reception it’s so stuffy - they don’t turn on the air conditioning at all. Inhabited by a greedy Greek. The Internet in the hotel is barely available and not everywhere, there is air conditioning in the rooms, but you have to pay 7 euros per day for it. … More ▾ Hotel SHIT! The Internet in the hotel is barely available and not everywhere, there is air conditioning in the rooms, but you have to pay 7 euros per day for it. Children's pool, opening hours from 10.00 to 19.00, people start queuing at the gate from 9.30 in the morning - because there are at most 15 sun loungers there. One madam came in and immediately spread 4 towels on the sun loungers like a savage. And it would be okay if they were relaxing by the pool, but no - they go to the sea and took the sun loungers just for themselves. Don't turn on the lights in the evening - save money! There is NOT a single umbrella at the pool - at 38 degrees there is nowhere to lie down in the shade on the hotel grounds.
On the beach, sun loungers are paid - 12 euros set (2 sun loungers + umbrella), a little further 15 euros set and they give you a password for normal Wi-Fi for the whole day
Breakfast is the same every day, no variety
I thought about drinking juice with croissants. What kind of juice - some kind of slop
We fell for the fact that it was the first line and close to the sea, but there were many more disadvantages!!!! ! Cleaning the hotel every day - what's the point? wash the floors every day, and change the bed and towels on the 4th day. At one o'clock in the afternoon when you go to your room from the heat - you have a cleaning lady in your room and then you walk on the slippery floor

We really enjoyed our stay in Hanioti! a bunch of taverns, snack bars, 24-hour shops, delicious seafood, and places to go for a walk. We went to the Kriopigi beach campsite, and it’s not far to go and here is Kallithea where the sand is so fine and soft, especially for those with children - super duper

It’s a pleasure to relax in Hanioti - everything you need is there, the infrastructure is very developed. Just choose other hotels and avoid Sousouras Hotel Halkidiki so that your vacation goes off with a bang!

Another plus is the excellent cuisine. Such fish and meat - you will lick your fingers. The territory is nice, the location of the hotel is really close to the places of the evening promenade. Charming uncle at the reception. Free sunbeds by the pool. Air conditioning is paid, they saved on it, although the first night it was scary to sleep in a bungalow with the door "to the balcony" open. But without the door open, there was some unpleasant smell in the room. This is one of the downsides. Moreover, when ordering a hotel, I asked for "not a bungalow", so when I checked in, I was very upset. I was also very upset (to put it mildly) with the hotel guide, who spoke to me "through her teeth", and I received answers to all questions from compatriots who were already leaving and could share their experience, seeing my torment when communicating with this harsh girl. When I returned home, I found out that our tour operator went bankrupt a week later, and this somewhat explained the attitude of the disgruntled girl to me. But, on the other hand, the guide during the excursions (Ambotis) worked 100%, thanks a lot to Irina! They cleaned the room very well. Another minus is the tiny shower/toilet. But this is easy to put up with, because the shower was taken near the pool. Moreover, no shampoo gels are allowed in the shower, so take it with you or buy it in the village!

We rested with my husband at the Sousouras Hotel in the village of Hanioti in Halkidiki. Drive to the hotel from the airport around 1.20. In my opinion, this hotel is great for families and for those who like to spend their free time outside the hotel, among people. A huge plus is that the hotel is located in a cozy and fairly developed village of Chanioti (from the hotel to the center of the village 3 minutes walk), there are a large number of bars, cafes, taverns, supermarkets, souvenir shops. There are also entertainment for children (carousels, balloons, ice cream, frozen yogurt, a sweet drink with ice - granite). The center of the village never seems to sleep, but the hotel is located a little lower, closer to the sea, where it is quiet and calm.
The city beach is 2 minutes from the hotel, but the hotel also has its own access to the beach, very good and clean, there is a snack bar along the way.
The food at the hotel is decent. Quite a variety of breakfasts and dinners. At lunchtime, you can also eat in the numerous taverns of the village, where the hosts are very hospitable. I liked the Stork tavern in the center of the village, to the right of the fountain.
In the building where we lived, the rooms are clean and comfortable. There is everything you need.
There were no problems with communication in the hotel, the smallest flaws could be solved by contacting the hotel guide. This is a nice young girl Natalia, who met and told about the village, about excursions, and in general, all 24 hours was ready to help and suggest if necessary.
The hotel has a swimming pool, but we arrived at the sea, so it was interesting for us to go there.
We returned home with positive impressions and a desire to return to Greece again! )

Excursions: there are excursions to Athens to Meteora to Athos (by boat along the peninsula) to Thessaloniki to Kastoria for fur coats. . There is a rental of great ATVs and cars. In short, don't get bored. There are no discotheques. But the most disco place in the neighboring village can be reached there. Chanioti is a charming green resort village, it is pleasant to wander along its streets. There are a lot of open taverns, bars, souvenir shops. . . We really liked Greece and the Greeks. We will definitely come back to Greece!

Turquoise sea, light sand, lots of greenery… The rooms are spacious and bright. Cleaning was done every day. The food is quite consistent with the level of the hotel. Everything is worthy, but without frills))) The animation is completely unobtrusive - once a week a Greek evening. The territory of the hotel is compact and neat. It is located on the first line from the sea. I would recommend this hotel for young people and for those who love outdoor activities.

For me it was disgusting! I chose a hotel for a long time, stopped at Susuras, because 73 standard rooms are declared everywhere and all with a balcony or terrace. I paid for a double (I went alone), as it turned out later, I overpaid exactly 2 times! Settled in a 10-meter dark, without a single extra. konurka lamp without a balcony with a small window, overlooking the sea from the toilet, which you need to go sideways, and from the room the view is just on the toilet, a small TV set is stuck under the ceiling, there is no remote control, so you have to jump to turn it on. … More ▾ For me it was disgusting! Repeated requests to be relocated were answered with a rude refusal, like we have a lot of people like you, but you were just unlucky, as if I were buying a lottery ticket, and not a normal standard number. The hotel administrator Janis did not even bother to make at least a verbal apology, he blamed the travel agency, the travel agency on the tour operator, the tour operator Ambotis Tour, in the person of a young girl Olga, he was very sympathetic, but could not do anything. In addition, the room was on the 3rd floor, where a narrow spiral metal staircase led, along which it was "cool" to climb with a suitcase, and even better to go down. They refused to give me a certificate of the size of the room and its description, just before leaving they gave me a paper where it was written that I was living! in room 339. Another touch to the portrait: I went on an excursion to Meteora, on the way back something happened on the highway and all the excursion buses had to go along mountain bypass roads, according to the plan they were supposed to return for dinner, but it didn’t work out, accompanying everyone announced, they contacted all the hotels and they would be waiting for us there with dinner. So it was with everyone, but I had her in Susuras, Janis told me that he could not help me in anything, but could only give me my dinner the next day! It was very disappointing, because I wanted to eat that evening, but go to the village was no longer strong. In a word, the most unpleasant memories of the hotel, of the administration, of their "hospitality". The only "+" is a good kitchen.

After reading positive reviews, I fell for this hotel and paid 63.000 rubles. for 12 days, I got into such a "wonderful" room that I would not even dream of in a nightmare. A very ascetic room, more like a cell of an unassuming monk. Requests to change the number remained unanswered, the administrator Janis was rude, rude and mocked. Apparently, it was necessary to be rude and rude in response, but I don’t know how to do this. There are hordes of screaming Italian kids on the beach, the beach boy is as boorish as the administrator, the sunbeds are broken, and the free sunbeds by the pool must be borrowed early in the morning. In a word, the most unpleasant memories. I can send photos to those who are interested.

The location of the hotel is excellent: on the seashore and at the same time literally 50 meters from the central square of the village. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We lived in the main building overlooking the sea.

On the territory of the hotel there are several more bungalows that overlook the territory, by the way, very well-groomed and green. But being on the sea, I find it better to have a sea view. The only thing that could overshadow this idyll is that in a nearby hotel on the beach every evening there was a disco and all sorts of musical entertainment. It didn’t bother us at all, but with small children, it’s probably better to settle in a bungalow - it’s quiet there. The room is spacious.
There is a hairdryer in the room, a TV set (although we didn’t find the declared Russian channel, but we weren’t upset either. We could have contacted the reception, but we absolutely didn’t need a TV set), two beds, a dressing table, an armchair - in general, enough furniture. The pool is large, with a children's paddock.

Sunbeds by the pool - free of charge, by the sea - for a fee (6-7 euros / 2 sunbeds and an umbrella). Meals: half board. Breakfast: standard set (cereals, eggs, buns, jams, cheese, sausage). For dinner, there were dishes of meat, fish, poultry, various side dishes, tomatoes, cucumbers, salad, and desserts. We were satisfied with the food, for 11 days it did not become boring. I think that it makes no sense to take all inc, because in the village there are charming taverns and restaurants at every step. You can have lunch for about 10-15 euros per person (for example, a Greek salad costs 5-6 euros, a barbecue 6-7 euros), a bottle of wine 5-7 euros. You can also in fast food restaurants: various gyro-pita (shawarma, in our opinion) - 2 euros.
Muck is rare, like all shawarmas. Although there were practically no empty seats there at lunchtime.

Regarding wine and all that: on one of the streets adjacent to the square there is a small shop with liquor products, there is almost everything there: various Greek wines (moreover, if a bottle of wine in the supermarket on the square cost 7 euros, then the same wine in this store - 3 euros), cognacs, bacardi, martinis, beer, gin and tonics, and everything is much cheaper.

Excursions: there are excursions to Athens, to Meteora (60 euros), to Athos 50 euros (by boat along the peninsula), to Thessaloniki, to Kastoria for fur coats. We bought from a guide, but the village has its own agencies, where it is ~ 10 euros cheaper. There is a bike rental (8 euros / day), ATVs (35 euros / day) and cars. In short, don't get bored. True, there are no discotheques. But the most disco place in the neighboring village, you can get there. Chanioti is a charming green resort village, it is pleasant to wander along its streets.
There are a lot of open taverns, bars, souvenir shops ...We really liked Greece and the Greeks. We will definitely come back to Greece!
