On the first floor, instead of a shower, there is just a hole for draining water under the toilet bowl and a shower faucet sticking out of the wall. And this toilet is located in a closet, where a person with normal height cannot enter without bending over, and can only wash while sitting on the toilet. And on the second floor there is a toilet with a toilet bowl and a sink without a shower and next to open wiring;
the promised washing machine did not actually work for 3 weeks;
instead of cleaning twice a week, no one NEVER cleaned our place in the period from 01.06-07.07. 2007;
instead of the prescribed change of linen once a week, we begged for a long time and constantly reminded to change the linen, which sometimes did not meet the requirements of cleanliness, hygiene and integrity;
the beach is not sandy as indicated in the description, but pebbly and sandy.
Thus, every item of the promised comfortable rest is pure FALSE!
Moreover, Villa Pefkohori was simply not ready to receive tourists. Being flooded (accidentally learned from the bus driver of the Valar that a week before our arrival there were heavy rains for ten days, and no one warned us about this), it was not dried, not washed, not brought into a normal and habitable condition. Everywhere smelled of mold and dampness. The furniture was wet and swollen with moisture. Our children, having arrived absolutely healthy, fell ill in the very first days from such conditions of unhygiene and unsanitary conditions (see extracts from the pediatrician). They were bitten by mosquitoes, which, in damp conditions, had to be taken out with incredible efforts and considerable funds had to be spent on fighting them (the damaged mosquito nets had to be restored manually). The cockroaches divorced from dampness. It's just a psychological and physical test and the material costs of buying traps for them.
We washed the house ourselves, dried it with an electric stove, took out furniture and bedding for drying outside (I note that all this without the help of male power). Although there were simply no detergents or accessories for appropriate cleaning in the villa. They didn't even give us a floor cloth to our requests. And at Villa Pefkohori there are only shabby sponges, dirty rags, the only battered mop (the handle of which broke in the very first days and we changed it ourselves).
Equipped kitchen leaves much to be desired. It is equipped with the following: 2 knives (which can only cut bread), 2 huge pots of 5 and 4.5 liters (do not fit into a small refrigerator), children's cups, missing cutlery by the number of residents, no corkscrew, opener, food containers , paper towels. We ourselves had to buy banal household items.
The change of linen consisted of begging for clean linens, a constant reminder to bring them on time (and not at night, when the children were already sleeping and they had to be woken up to give dirty linen) and making 6 beds on their own. The linen itself did not always meet the requirements of cleanliness, hygiene, integrity (some sheets were torn).
Villa Pefkohori has never been cleaned!!! ! And wash floors, walls, windows, stairs, mirrors, toilet bowls, sinks, furniture, etc. on your own. around the house - not an easy task!
The mini fridge is leaking. The promised washing machine did not work until June 21st. 5 times I had to wash and rinse a huge amount of laundry by hand (including towels, tablecloths, Villa Pefkohori bed linen).
Kettle from 01 to 09 June did not work. They heated the water in a pan in anticipation of a replacement with a new one, until Elena Georgievna gave her kettle back. Only on June 22 they brought a new kettle, which broke already on June 23. On June 26 it was repaired. But from June 28 to July 07, he did not work again. Air conditioning on the 3rd floor actually did not work from 01.06 to 07.07. 2007. it did not turn on at all until the 16th, when the air conditioner master came and took the remote control for repair. We didn’t see the remote anymore, and without it, the air conditioner simply can’t be turned on.
All technical problems were accompanied by power supply problems. Not a day passed at Villa Pefkohori that we didn’t run to the switch in the shield and turn on the light, which was constantly turned off (both in the morning and at night, and while we are on the beach and we already come to a leaky refrigerator and spoiled food).
