In the last months of the summer season, a traditional folklore festival is held in Hanioti, where national groups from all over Greece gather. If you are lucky enough to be here at this particular time, we can say with confidence that this vacation will be truly unforgettable!
Rest in Hanioti is quite calm and unfussy, allowing you to fully enjoy the purest sea water and the gentle rays of the sun. For outdoor enthusiasts, there is also a lot of entertainment here, including all kinds of sea sports, horseback riding, hiking, as well as visiting the neighboring villages of Pefkochori and Polichrono, which can be reached by renting a motorcycle or car.

The territory is green, cozy, order is maintained, during our inspection, new Deluxe Studio rooms were built, the plans include an elegant interior, plasma TV, rooms with access to the pool.
The Studio rooms have an equipped kitchen with all kitchen utensils, which is very convenient for families with children.

We were first placed on the ground floor. It's kind of like a basement. Dampness, wet sheets, balcony overlooking the courtyard. Apparently, somewhere there is a sewer, because there was a smell. Near the kitchen, you can hear the clatter of dishes. In general, on the first day we were in shock and there was a desire to leave from there. But the next day we spoke with the Victoria hotel manager. She turned out to be a friendly and helpful young woman, listened to our complaints and promised to move to another room. Three days later we were moved to the third floor. It was much drier there and the windows overlooked the street. In principle, we needed a room just to spend the night. But, of course, not the basement! All staff, including the night watchman, speak Russian. Everyone is friendly and smiling. The rooms are clean, cleaned well and always in our absence. Towels were changed regularly. The shower is small, drain hole in the floor. All plumbing worked well. There is a supermarket next to the hotel across the street. If you ate in a cafe once, the next day you will be recognized and greeted there. "Fish plate" is in almost every cafe. It costs 25 euros. One is enough for two. All excursions were from the company Mouzenidis. I really liked the two-day trip: Meteora-Corfu. On the way to the beach, you can buy olives from the stalls (they are large there, like plums), cherries, peaches. In the store, the olives in Vaakum are much worse. In the center of the village there is a wonderful souvenir shop: wine, coffee, halva, you can try everything. Good cosmetics on olive oil. If you want to bring home, then it is better to buy olive oil and alcohol in duty free. After evening walks around the center of the village, it was always a pleasure to return to our quiet street, to the hotel. We enjoyed our holiday, we visited a lot of places in two weeks. (these are rooms for poor students) My husband and I went for 2 weeks from the beginning of August, hoping to see beautiful Greece and live in a normal hotel. They put us in a room called a studio (which had an electric stove). The room looks like a barrack. The beds are low and hard like they slept on a wooden floor. The shower, in general, is so tiny in the Stone Age, when you wash yourself, the curtain sticks around you, everything is rusty, smudges and cobwebs on the ceilings. The plumbing is very old. One day there was no water at all, neither cold nor hot, I had to wash my face with drinking water. The walls are of course white, but somehow it feels like you live in a hut, the doors are old, all shabby, the switches are also to some kind of age-old yellow coating, and I didn’t see such lamps and lamps at all. Photos are attached if the review and photo are not deleted. The hotel website says wi-fi is free, but they charge 2 euros per night. The hangers in the closet were all so different and broken, apparently someone could bring something from the staff from home. A supermarket is a stone's throw from the hotel, which is definitely a plus. The staff speaks Russian, but it didn't matter to us. The description of the hotel says 150 meters to the beach, that's not true. go there 500 meters, there are 2 small pools on the territory, but they are more intended for children. only the cats who came to us for feeding pleased us. PLUSES: the sea is the purest transparent, azure, incomparable. (but this has nothing to do with the hotel)

From breakfast food: scrambled eggs, fried eggs, fried bacon, cheese, cheese, ham, butter, jams, cottage cheese, muesli... Everything is fresh and tasty. In general, if you need luxurious apartments with plasma, a bathroom and a masseuse, this is not the place for you))) And if you prefer a budget vacation without unnecessary "show-offs", Dionysos is a great place.

Breakfasts are normal, tea, coffee, dry breakfasts, cheese, sausage and canned peaches, not Turkey, of course, with its abundance, but again quite decently. Rooms are modest but clean can't complain. There is a swimming pool and a small garden.
There are no discos, only in the neighboring Pivkahori - 4 km on foot or by taxi, we mastered it on foot, so that the atmosphere is calm even at night. Either in Kalefei it is 15 km, there is definitely a taxi 9 there is better choice there). Restaurants have a peculiarity - the menu is written everywhere as a blueprint, everywhere is the same, but we must pay tribute to the amazingly delicious seafood. Sweets - Turkish, baklava, etc. however, they are still arguing with the Turks for the ownership of this culinary masterpiece. It all started with the number of our St. Petersburg neighbors. The guys returning from a visit to Athos found that 1000 rubles and BOOTS were stolen from them !!!! ! Moreover, their sizes were different 41 and 45. The staff of hotel 9, represented by a girl named Vicky, also a former resident of Georgia, said that they stole from each other, while young people lived in the same room.
Then it happened to us. The next day, returning home not early, we found that the window was open (in fact, the door was simply broken open with a plastic card). The suitcase was cut with a knife and the zipper was torn out. Our neighbor heard the screams and found that in general, the same thing happened to her. We called the police though. In the morning we found out that at 10 pm, the ladies from our group were robbed of the room, but the hotel staff stubbornly pretended that everything was in order and did not call the police. Further, we were denied compensation for the suitcase, namely, Mr. Issa, who is the manager of the hotel, decided that he did not want to talk to me. But after spending a couple of days with the police instead of the beach, I was still able to apply, by the way, the local sheriff turned out to be a decent uncle and accepted the application without problems, and I’m already waving the document in front of the manager, I demanded compensation, but alas, my friend turned around and left showing his back, although I warned him that I will do my best and, first of all, I will warn all tourists so that this does not happen again. To the credit of Olga Tours, I was paid the cost of a new suitcase. Be careful to hand over everything to the safe, on the beach, too, try not to leave things unattended.
