I was in July 2017 from 10.07 to 14.07 after the tour of Ancient Greece, I was very pleased after a rich excursion program throughout mainland Greece. Yes, I had to travel about 710 km on the last day (from Athens they were taken to rest in selected hotels), because. Loutra is located at a distance of 120 km from Thessaloniki. But the very next day, and arrived at the hotel at 21.45, I appreciated all the advantages of the place where I stayed!
Most of the other members of the tour group stopped at Kassandra, but 20-50 km from Thessaloniki, and lost their way!! ! Or everything was limited to the territory of the hotel or a noisy town, with songs and dances until the morning. Of course, if there is a desire in a noisy party, you are NOT in Loutra!
Loutra is a village in the Russian sense, one single supermarket and a shop with all kinds of souvenirs (not the largest assortment and not for shopping), beach goods and cigarettes, but in the season itself! few vacationers! you can always find a place for solitude, I, as a resident of the metropolis, was very impressed! And amazingly clear water! The beaches are mostly small pebbles, but spoken. if you go further away there is sand. I'm not a fan of sand, so I didn't go.

Responsive owners of the hotel (husband and wife), nice girls at the reception who speak Russian, of course you can’t talk about the meaning of life with them, but everything you need to talk about for a comfortable stay in the hotel, they understand you : ) and they immediately perform not cunning wishes : )
The reviews about the SPA are true, it costs 6 euros, you can go to civilized bathrooms, there are open ones, there are closed ones, it is negotiated for 20 minutes, but no one controls, I sat in the outdoor pool for 20 minutes, then meditated on the sunbed, and noticed I returned to the pool again )
Indeed, there is a natural spring near the seashore, under the SPA, you can "take a hydrogen sulfide bath" there, but for free : )
Loutra has rich mountain-pine air! It is fashionable to eat with spoons, so thick!
There are several nice restaurants with pleasant service and not bad cuisine, but it is with a view of the sea, but Villa Stas is certainly the most romantic.
Returning to the hotel - more than decent for 2 stars, nothing superfluous, they put me alone in a 3-bed room, three beds, bedside tables, a large wall mirror, a wardrobe, a refrigerator, air conditioning, no bathroom, a bathroom with a "place" for a shower , a small area with a shower without glass or curtains, but quite comfortable.
Those who are used to a jacuzzi are certainly not an option, but everyone understands that this is 2 stars.
There is a table and a few chairs in front of the entrance to the room, it is quite nice to sit in the evening before going to bed.
Regarding nutrition, those who are used to eating from the belly and lying on the beach, you are definitely not in Greece, welcome to Turkey!
I lived in 4-star hotels in the excursion program and comparing them and Coralli I can say with confidence that the food is excellent, no, you won’t find gourmet dishes, but they are of high quality and unique.
This is Greece, unforgettable, and we can’t compare it with Turkey or even with Spain, there food is more varied and there is more of it, BUT, this country has its charms and beauties, they are worth seeing at least once in your life !! !
