Check-in took place strictly on time - at 14-00. We arrived at 07-30, and it was nice that they were allowed to have breakfast right away, although on the day of check-in, it seems like breakfast is not allowed (only breakfast was taken). The owner Apostolos speaks English, calm and clear, responsible. Cleaning, change of linen, everything is OK, fresh and tasty breakfast (buffet, though the same every day (cereal with milk, one type of cheese, one type of meat, delicious tender cottage cheese and jams and pineapple in sweet sauce, boiled eggs, tea and Greek coffee (not very)), and people with a vegetarian or fish or "porridge" diet do not know what to do, probably.

What is missing, they immediately bring more).
The hotel is well located (although the third line, probably : )). From the large balcony (4 meters) a view of the central highway with restaurants, then the sea and Mount Athos (if not hidden behind the clouds), on the other side a view of the city houses and green plantings, a stream flows right next to it, a lot of greenery and the constant singing of cicadas . In 3 minutes above the hotel there is a beautiful functioning temple of the city, even further - 200m - a stream of delicious drinking water equipped with several taps.
Near the hotel there are bus stops, various shops, incl. grocery, cafes and restaurants. After 23-00 the "ambience" calms down a little, not as noisy as in big cities and "party" places.
To the sea to go from 15 minutes, you can use different roads and different beaches. Sea urchins are found in the water near the shore, so rather than swimming in flip flops, it is better to step aside and find "your" beach.
The Greeks are very friendly, almost everyone speaks English.

Lived at the hotel in September 2013. The hotel is very small, only 18 rooms. I describe only what I saw with my own eyes in one particular room, mine (maybe everything is different in other rooms). So, the room has: a small TV (all channels are in Greek), air conditioning, a small refrigerator (I turned it off so as not to interfere with sleep, I didn’t need it), a balcony (if you keep it open, mosquitoes can fly in), normal furniture, "combined" bathroom (toilet and shower nearby, not separated from each other, water from the shower spills all over the floor of the bathroom), cold and hot water, plumbing in a usable condition.

The bathroom is what I didn't like the most. Its condition can be seen in the photo.
There was no safe, hair dryer, telephone, kettle in the room, no soap and shampoo in the bathroom. Linen is changed about once every 3 days. Once I came across a towel with a hole through which several fingers could fit. There is free Wi-Fi.
Nutrition. I paid for breakfast and dinner. Breakfasts are ordinary, every day the same thing (eggs, sliced cheese and sausages, butter, marmalade, yogurt, canned peaches, tea, coffee). But at dinner you can only order a salad and some one second course or soup). And that's it. Moreover, you can order not any main dishes included in the menu, there are exceptions. In fairness, I’ll say that the quality of food at dinners is good, the portions are rather big, and for 10 days the second courses have never been repeated. But the Greek salad, no matter how good it was, managed to get fed up during the rest. There were no fresh fruits. No animation, no pool at the hotel. They probably do not happen in hotels of this category.
The owner of the hotel is a pleasant person (sometimes he treats guests with moonshine), and I can’t say anything bad about the staff.
In my opinion, except for citizens of the republics of the CIS, no one else lives in the hotel. But foreigners also go to the tavern at the hotel.
There are mini-markets near the hotel, it is not forbidden to bring food from them to the room. There are also plenty of other taverns and souvenir shops nearby.
From the hotel to the beach, walk at a normal pace for 20 minutes along the hillside, in some places this slope is quite steep. Such a walk can be tiring for the elderly or people with health problems. The beach is sandy, I liked it. The water is transparent. In some places at the entrance to the sea there are stones, if you go to the left, there are fewer stones. The depth increases quite quickly, but there is also an opportunity for children to swim normally. If you swim with a mask, sometimes schools of fish are visible, a couple of times I saw sea urchins. Cigarette butts and other rubbish are scattered on the beach, tourists bring it.
In general, Kriopigi is a small village suitable only for a beach holiday, the place is absolutely not a party place.
300 meters from the hotel (next to Kriopigi Beach) there is a bus stop to Thessaloniki, where you can get for 10.6 euros (ticket from the conductor) to the final bus station called KTEL (look out, do not get off earlier), then transfer to the city bus number 45 and get to the Kamara stop for 1 euro (tickets are bought in the bus from the machine, see the names of the nearest stop on the board closer to the head end of the bus). Getting off at this stop, you will find yourself close to the White Tower (if you go to the sea) and other attractions. If you go back in the same way, find out in advance the bus schedule to Kriopigi. Moreover, the bus on which I was traveling left KTEL 5 minutes earlier than the schedule, so come to the bus station in advance.

Very hospitable host Apostolis and his worker Levon (speaks Russian). The owner speaks English. Of course, it is 1 km to the sea, but it is very pleasant to walk along the road through a coniferous forest, you will not breathe. We climbed up and on foot, slowly, taking pictures and admiring the views for 0.5 hours. You can take a train, but we gladly climbed on foot, the promenade is not superfluous before a plentiful lunch or dinner. For 20 euros (max) with wine, we ate so much that at the end of dinner they served dessert from the establishment, but there was no longer any desire to eat. We went on excursions: to Olympus-Dion-Vergina and to Mount Athos. I think that, despite the price of 50-55 euros, the excursions are very interesting and we did not regret at all that we took them. If we had gone ourselves, we simply would not have been able to see and hear so much. I couldn't write a review for 3 weeks because I was overwhelmed with emotions. Now it has calmed down a bit and now you can adequately relate to everything. I really liked the nature on Kassandra: there are a lot of coniferous trees and therefore you don’t feel the heat, which is still extinguished by the sea air, there are a lot of subtropical olives, pomegranates. . . Very tasty local products: olives, olive oil, dairy products, pastries. Greece left a better impression than Crimea. On the beach, no one interferes, do not lie on each other's heads. And the sea is generally a separate page: the water is clean, clear, warm, you go in and don’t want to go out. There are practically no waves. The beach is convenient for children and adults - there are no cliffs or pits smoothly and calmly descends. We will definitely come back here.
