And here comes a very good location of the hotel - in the center of the island! that is, any trip to any point indoors will not be long and tiring. The longest - in the bay of Balos - 200 km in one direction. And yes - the average length of the trip does not exceed 100 km. This is very profitable when renting a car, because gasoline is not very cheap! (~ 1.8E / liter)
Again, the island is a cloud of various taverns - you can always find a place to eat.
That's why our daily routine looked something like this - getting up at 7 am in the morning. we drink coffee, make a light breakfast (scrambled eggs or butter), at 8.00 - start! We had lunch in a tavern, came in the evening and, depending on fatigue, either went to the tavern Ambrosia (I highly recommend it! Fortunately, there is a Spar supermarket (in Kokkini Hani). 2 minutes by car.
in the breaks between trips, when the 5th point required rest from the seats in the car, and the brain wanted to settle everything you saw, you can fall on the beach. the beach is very "far" - came out of the hotel gate and "fell into the sea": -) (see photo)
there is, however, one drawback - the "municipal" beach, so on Saturdays and Sundays many Greeks come. But there was never a time when we didn't find a place for ourselves. There is also a swimming pool near the hotel - children can jump from the board.
Now about the number. The hotel is not new, but well maintained, thanks to the manager Oleg (congratulations to him! ). Everything works. The kitchen has knives, spoons, forks, can openers, glasses and cups, 3 types of plates (small / large / deep) according to the number of seats in the room. ours was a 5-seater, respectively, there were 5 pieces. Electric kettle, electric stove. Refrigerator, and not a "minibar", as in other hotels, namely - REFRIGERATOR. let small, but very capacious (watermelon got in! ). There is a frying pan and a few pans. you can cook any food.
What you don't have and you must take with you - salt (!! ), Detergents for dishes and rags (sponge for dishes and for wiping from the table), otherwise you will have to buy everything on the spot for euros.
Towels and bed linen are changed every 3 days during cleaning.
if something is wrong - you can always contact Oleg - he will definitely help solve any problems.
Personally, we had a current kettle - replaced in 30 minutes. and we asked for a Teflon frying pan, because it burned tightly in a steel omelet with any amount of oil. were satisfied.
On cloudy days, there may be problems with hot water - again, you need to notify to turn on the boiler.
Each room has a separate entrance. in our room you could even put a table to eat on the street. (cozy nook)
wi-fi in the hotel is fast, free and catches throughout the territory + even the beach covers! speed is enough for video communication in Skype. you know how much envy is on the "other side" when you call from the beach via video ! ! ? ?
