When planning to go to Greece, we chose a hotel for a very long time, I wanted an all-inclusive hotel so that it was not quite a dead hotel, not very expensive and not far from the sea and civilization. So, the hotel "Roxani" met all our requirements and even more. Now in order.

1. Flight - "Ural Airlines" - neither worse nor better than the rest - fed back and forth - a bun with cheese and ham, coffee, tea, water, juices, polite flight attendants good takeoff and landing, almost without delay. We arrived at 8:00. Cleared customs quickly.
2. The transfer from the airport to the hotel takes about 10-15 minutes, which is also a big plus, because many of our buses took 1.5-2 hours to get to their hotels.

3. Check-in from 13:00, but they have it spelled out in the rules, because the previous tenants are evicted at 12:00. The owner of the hotel allowed us to change clothes and leave our things in her room at the reception and at 9:00 we were already on the beach. Returned at 12:30, the room was already ready.
4. The room is no frills, but it has everything you need.
We got the room number 110 - on the 2nd floor. From the furniture of the room - a double bed and 2 single bunk beds, 3 bedside tables, a dressing table and a chair, a wardrobe with 15 hangers, a clothes dryer, a refrigerator, a TV (which we never turned on), air conditioning for a fee - 2 euros per day. (also did not pay in the evening it was not so hot, slept with an open balcony). Mosquitoes were not observed at all, although they read reviews and brought a fumigator. There is a small balcony on it with 2 chairs, a table, ropes for drying things. The bathroom is very small in size - it has a shower with a curtain, a toilet, a washbasin, they give toilet paper, 2 small soaps, but in 7 days the three of us did not spend even half of one. Take all other accessories with you, the option to buy on the spot is not suitable, because in terms of their prices for our native rubles, everything turns out to be 2-4 times more expensive. They cleaned the room - just wiped the floor and made the bed.
Towels and bed linen were changed 1 time in 7 days, but there was no need to change more often. And don't forget that it's 2*.
5. Nutrition. For us it was an unusual all-inclusive system. All drinks were free on the all inclusive basis only during lunch and dinner. The drinks were all inclusive: beer, red and white wine, sprite, cola, juice, as much as you can for lunch and dinner. Meals take place at the pool bar, where 10-12 tables are located. So :
BREAKFAST from 8:00 to 09:30. For breakfast you choose:
1. Plate with a set - 1 egg + 2 slices of ham + 2 slices of cheese + olives. If someone is used to eating a lot for breakfast, I think no one would forbid taking 2-3 such plates. 2. Flakes. 3. Oil (did not try). 4. Milk. 5. Delicious orange jam, strawberry jam, honey. 6. Toasts, loaf. 7. Three types of cookies. Coffee from a coffee machine, only one kind. Tea bags.

Despite the small list of dishes offered, in fact, this is quite enough for breakfast.
LUNCH from 13:00 to 14:00. Here you already eat what is served to you. They give a vegetable salad - tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, olives, onions. Once they gave a Greek salad. And the main dish - meat or fish with french fries, once they gave borscht, once - tortellini with cheese and ham.
DINNER . From 19:00 to 20:00. But their dinner is a celebration of the stomach. Firstly, you choose - chopped vegetables, olives, rice with shells, pasta, battered zucchini flowers. You sit down and eat it all, and then the owner of the hotel serves hot cooked on an open fire - barbecue, moussaka, kebabs, eggplant with meat and cheese, chicken, meatballs with sauce ...All this is piping hot right from the oven. The owner is very friendly and you can see that he really enjoys his work. He feeds everyone and sits down to eat himself, and he looks so happy that everyone is full and happy.
And of course, the portions are huge. And for dinner there was always dessert - watermelon. .
We never ate in taverns, except on excursions, because the food at the hotel was quite suitable.
6. Beach. To the beach 10 minutes on a flat road. Sunbeds on the beach are paid. The entrance to the sea is sandy. The beach is clean. But the sea is almost never calm.

Around the hotel there are many shops with souvenirs and products, in the evening there is where to take a walk. Right at the entrance to the hotel there is a bus stop, you can go to Heraklion and take a walk there. Ticket 1.7 euros, if you take it in the store at the checkout, 2.5 euros. if the bus driver
We took excursions from a hotel guide, but you can also have a street agency, they will be a little bit cheaper. We went to ballos and spinaloga agios nikolas. To see the real Greece, you must definitely go on excursions.
So if you are in a good mood for impressions, the sea, the sun, then the Roxani hotel is quite suitable for you.
