The pool is next to the restaurant but we rarely used it. What about the meaning? The hotel is well located - 5 minutes walk to the sea. At the same time, the beach of Karteros (the settlement in which the hotel is located) is one of the coolest in Crete - sandy, the sea is very clean. You can rent an umbrella and sunbed for only 1.5 euros per day. Now a little about the area itself. Just a 3-minute walk there is a small supermarket, a two-minute bus stop. Accordingly, we examined almost the entire northern coast of Crete. The hotel, as it is located in Karteros, is located in the heart of the northern coast. This is a great chance to go on excursions. We visited the Palace of Knossos (the famous residence of King Minos, the abode of the Minoans a la the famous labyrinth of the Minotaur), and the Lassifian plateau with the famous cave of Zeus, and Heraklion, the capital of the island (only 15 minutes by bus) and even conquered the western part of Crete by visiting " Venetian" Rethymno. We did not bypass the eastern part of the island, visited Elounda and Agios Nikolaos, swam in the beautiful waters of Mirabello Bay. In general, you can continue the historical and noteworthy list forever, because from the hotel you can get to almost anywhere in Crete. Of course, I can't help but mention the food. Yes, this is not Turkey, where the buffet tables have no visible edges, BUT! ! The food is normal, by the way, a buffet. There are also meat dishes and traditional Cretan appetizers. Drinks can be purchased for a separate price, except for tea, water, coffee, milk, etc. (this is included). As for the room itself, I note that the safe is ONLY in the apartments. The bathroom was always clean, because daily cleaning was carried out. In general, summarizing all of the above, I want to say that the hotel is FULLY responsible for the combination of price and quality. And even though he has only 3 *, the rest in this hotel turned out to be 5k!
