Rested with her husband in Crete in late May - early June. The hotel was chosen so that it was not far from the village, otherwise it would be boring to constantly sit in the hotel. And they did not lose, the hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the center of Hersonissos. In the evening, my husband and I often went to restaurants on the embankment.
We were given a hotel room with a view of the pool, in the evenings unobtrusive music often played there, it was nice to enjoy the rest with a glass of wine, sitting on the balcony. The room was cleaned every day, cleaned well. But they were rarely in the room, only in the evenings, and so mostly on the beach or went on excursions.
The beach near the hotel is not particularly remarkable, after a couple of days we went to the neighboring beach of the Creta Maris hotel, and sometimes walked along the promenade of Hersonissos, 5-10 minutes walk and you can find good beaches near restaurants where you could have a bite, the average check per person is 15 euros , this along with a bottle of wine.

As for the food at the hotel, I can say one thing - everything was delicious. A varied selection of dishes prepared from quality products. There were always delicious sweets, and fruits, and ice cream. One of the evenings near the pool, the hotel arranged a barbecue evening, that's what we ate! There was meat, and fish, and vegetables, and all this was cooked on the grill in front of you. Plus there was live music. In general, we were satisfied with our stay and our choice of hotel.
