In May, I had a rest in the Fotula apartments in the village of Agia Pelagia, I really liked it. Small, cozy apartments, silence, sea in 2 minutes. The room was on the first floor, beautifully decorated, everything was clean, the owner George and Fotula are wonderful people, always helping if anything was needed. The room has everything you need, a stove, all appliances, a refrigerator, a kettle. Safe paid - 2 euros per day, air conditioning - 7 euros. It is better to take a towel with you for the beach, towels are provided in the room only for general use, a shower. Wi-Fi works great, everywhere it catches well and is free. Near the apartments there are many different taverns, 3 more or less large shops, a pharmacy, souvenir shops. The sea is very good, the bay is cool, the water is clean, clean, there are practically no waves. All sunbeds and umbrellas are paid, sunbed and umbrella 5 euros. But it is not necessary to take it, you can lay your own towel, as I did. In Crete, everything is very tasty, I often went to Eden, large portions and everything is cooked with high quality, the hosts are friendly. Another plus of apartments near the airport, in general, a fairy tale ride for about 30 minutes. For those who want to relax inexpensively and comfortably, I advise.
