A lot of algae nailed, and the beach strip was not cleaned regularly, I would say badly. In June, the water in the sea was cold, but maybe still not the season at this time. I had to spend most of my time at the pool. In the bar, popcorn for children and milkshakes are paid. Alcoholic cocktails - also for money. We rented a car, we drove both ways in a day. Before lunch, we went to the KNOSOS PALACE, stopped at the hotel - had lunch. And in the second half, on the opposite side of the island, we drove to the lake. It's very beautiful there! . . The excursion to the island of SANTARINI was very memorable. I advise everyone, unforgettable impressions will remain for a lifetime. By choice, the guides there will offer you to split into two groups with a trip to the black sands of the Aegean Sea (I advise you! ) And stay in place - wander the streets, go to local restaurants and enjoy the Greek flavor. Visit local ethnographic museums. I managed to do everything... and wander around the shops and visit the GIZA house-museum, if I hadn’t chickened out, I would have taken a ride on the cable car))). For this, an hour will be enough for you, which the guides will provide for free time anyway. Therefore, take your swimwear to the Aegean Sea. . . it is cold - but very refreshing after a tiring walk and a trip in a sightseeing bus. The place MALIA itself is a vacation for young people... a lot of people ride scooters and ATVs. The local shops are full of souvenirs. There is a shop near the hotel - we took beer, nuts, cool local corn chips there. And be sure to try to buy natural goat yogurt, it is sold there in a clay cup. Delicious! I brought two sets of silver jewelry, you can bargain well. There are some very interesting models. In Russia, I went to a jeweler (I was not quite sure) - everything turned out to be authentic: the stones and the sample correspond to reality.
The food is decent, the fried bacon in the morning was excellent, we still remember it... Very tasty desserts, mousses, tiramisu, cakes. And what vegetables! And what cheese!... The local wine is also not bad.
The rooms were cleaned well, but shampoos and gels were not always replenished. But in general - the holiday was SUCCESSFUL! This hotel is for families, not for young people. They will be bored here, because. there is almost no animation. But Malia itself is full of discos and nightclubs. Where to hang out!
