Cool hotel! Great holiday! We chose the hotel because the presence of a bungalow is indicated, according to the photos we determined that the beach is large and not far (First line). That's how it was… The hotel area is large, there is a main building, but we were not interested in it, but the bungalow is just SUPER! The room is large, there is a TV (we did not need it), air conditioning and hair dryer. Surprisingly, the rooms are not a shower, but a bathroom ...however, there were no curtains ...Each room has access to a balcony, and we were lucky and we lived on the ground floor, that is, we went outside where there was a table and two chairs, and we were surrounded by fig and pomegranate trees… The room was cleaned every day, the bed linen was completely renewed, and when the weather got a little worse, blankets were given out. There are two pools on the territory - one large, which was crowded with the majority of vacationers, and the second - smaller. Fed VERY GOOD!
The food was delicious and varied, everything is prepared in olive oil, there was always fish, stewed vegetables, marinated and of course fresh, veal, lamb, rabbit, but their cheeses, olives and others. I think it will be superfluous to describe? Delicious white and red wine was served for lunch and dinner. In the evening you could sit on the street, where there are many tables, that is, there was no shortage of seats. The bar served their brandy, uzu and, as they wrote on the menu, local brandy… Well, drinks so-so… The staff is friendly, they do not have tip boxes, although before the collection sometimes left 1E. Many vacationers with children, for whom animation was provided, but once we witnessed the conflict of one mother who was dissatisfied… Young people had fun on their own. The animators explained this to us by saying that the end of the season and the audience is no longer up to the task.
THE SEA is very beautiful, clean, not deep. The beach is wide, sandy.

You could buy sunbeds, but why?
At the beginning of our vacation we were lucky with the weather and we were able to enjoy the calm sea for 4 days, and then the weather got worse - it was windy, cold and even raining. We used these days on excursions and went south to the village of Matala, where there was wonderful sunny weather. Excursions should be chosen carefully - some are not worth the money that guides require! For example, the Palace of Knossos… You can go there, after reading on the Internet, by taxi, which can be ordered from the reception (more expensive), but we walked to town (from the hotel to the left). However, it seemed to take a long time, because we did not quite understand how to catch this taxi, but it turned out that they have a taxi stand… But the coolest trip - when we rented a car! So we really made sure that Crete is a very beautiful island! ! ! !!
The car was taken across the road from the hotel for 60E (Toyota YARIS - automatic transmission with a navigator in Russian).
In general, we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! WE RECOMMEND to those who can see only the good, and the little things that are sure to arise, do not pay attention and do not spoil your impression! HAPPY HOLIDAYS at Dolphin Bay!
