Hotel ratings by criteria:
We have been staying in this hotel for the second year, each time for almost a month. I chose the hotel myself, it suited us in all respects, I am not disappointed. Excellent value for money.

Both times the rooms were in the main building, the rooms are spacious, with a refrigerator, the balcony is all green (but not all of them), overlooks the side of the garden. There was no roof of the restaurant under the balcony, only trees, including fruit trees.
The hotel has a huge garden with a wide variety of trees, where you can take a walk in the evening and lie down during the hours of extreme heat.

The main building is not fully populated, and half of the bungalows are also free, so there are no crowds either in the restaurant, or on the beach, or by the pools. One of the pools is practically empty! : ) But it is also cleaned daily.

The character is kind and friendly, always happy to help or just chat (although we - by virtue of our profession - have no problems with foreign languages).

If people are treated humanely, and not haughtily, then they will treat you with warmth, and not just with courtesy because of their work.

Some of our tourists were indignant that, they say, there were no Do Not Disturb signs in the rooms. We didn’t have it either, but what is the language for? : ) We asked Maria at the reception - she immediately gave us this sign.

The food is absolutely normal. Although there is such a category of Russian, Ukrainian and other Russian-speaking tourists, who are always dissatisfied with everything and with sour faces, who don’t like everything even in 5 ****. It’s better not to go anywhere at all, because after reading their reviews, one gets the impression that everything is bad everywhere. You just need to find out in advance where you are going, and tune in to the positive, not to look for the minuses, but to be able to find the pros, and then the vacation will be wonderful.

Naturally, there is nothing to expect abroad for breakfast / lunch / dinner - pancakes, borscht, dumplings, etc.
At home, you can cook all this perfectly yourself or go to a restaurant of Russian cuisine.

Drinks in the restaurant were always enough, whenever they came. In the end, if something is over, it is enough to say it in English to the head waiter - he is almost always in the hall, often pouring carbonated drinks and wine there himself.

Cocktails in the hotel bar were made to us completely free of charge, only to explain what you want, preferably not in Russian (sorry, but none of the hotel staff is required to know Russian. This can only be a nice bonus. You are not going to Anapa ; ) ) and politely, with a smile, and not with a displeased, arrogant mine on his face (alas, such faces of our compatriots were not uncommon).

They clean the room and change towels every day, bed linen at least once every three days. No tips (never in any country) were left, we are satisfied with the cleaning.
They never made shabby sheets, never saw torn towels. The maids are friendly, how many times a day they came across, they greeted us so much, even from afar, and addressed me and my sociable child by name. : )

The hotel has a computer with free internet, Wi-Fi is also available.

Animation daily. We didn’t really need it, but the people liked it, the reviews are good. Animator Zaras works out his salary at 100%.

On the beach (sandy) until about 10 am and after 16:00 you can use sunbeds for free, but in general the cost of one sunbed and umbrella for the whole day is 2.5 euros.

Entry into the sea is normal, including for children. Bathing shoes have never been used.

During our vacation there were decent waves, but there was not a day that we didn’t swim (at least in the first half, even before breakfast, when the sea is calm).
For those who like to go to bed early, the rooms in the main building overlooking the garden, rather than the pool, are more suitable.

It is better to buy excursions not from representatives of the t / o, but from local tours. agencies, in the village or Heraklion. You will feel the difference. : ) It is really significant, and many excursions are even longer in duration and the number of places visited for much less money.
All excursions (except for a trip to Santorini) we bought in local agencies.

The bus stop (No. 1) to Heraklion (from Heraklion take only bus No. 6) is opposite the supermarket (leave the hotel and turn right), where you can buy bus tickets. The cost of a ticket to Heraklion is 1.50 euros (for the driver - 2 euros).

You can check at the reception at what time the sightseeing train leaves the hotel (already on the street, and not at the door of the main building). Now he makes three flights: 11:00 - a two-hour excursion, and at 17:00 and 18:00 - hour trips.
The time is approximate, the train may arrive a little earlier, or it may be delayed, so be prepared for this.

If you have any questions about the hotel, please contact, I will try to answer.
