We rested on the island of Crete in Greece, went with a company, namely two families with children 6 and 10 years old. We stayed at the Vantaris Palace Hotel, which is located in the village of Georgioupoli between the cities of Chania and Rethymno. We enjoyed everything very much, only the best memories remained from the rest.
As for the hotel: a good family hotel, where there is everything you need. The rooms were taken by Private Pool, which are located almost by the sea. The rooms are clean, beautiful, the hotel gave us a compliment when checking in in the form of fruits in the room, we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are cleaned well, regularly, bed linen is changed every 2-3 days. The staff is very welcoming, friendly, always smiling and saying hello. The hotel has children's animation, a children's corner, a playground, so our kids were not bored.
True, there is no adult animation in the hotel, it is more intended for a quiet and family vacation. The only entertainment for adults was evenings with live music.
The territory of the hotel is good, spacious, in the center there is a swimming pool, a lot of sunbeds and umbrellas. Pool bar next to the pool. The hotel has its own beach, no need to go anywhere, the entry into the sea is good, the beach is sandy. Sun loungers and umbrellas for an additional fee.
As for food - the hotel has a buffet, a good choice, the chefs cook in front of you, there is an a la carte restaurant where an appointment is required, we were there once, we liked it, the food is delicious.
We flew from tour operators Mouzenidis Travel for the first time, I really liked the service.
There were no complaints about the work of the staff, the hotel guide agreed on an early check-in, as they arrived very early, they were excellently placed, we were always ordered early breakfasts, we did not have to arrange this at the reception ourselves. In order not to get bored, we went on a couple of excursions - these were "Children's Fun" and "Gramvusa-Points".
They were delighted. For children's fun, we visited a dinosaur and a Cretan aquarium. The children were just delighted! On Gramvous we admired the gorgeous views, the beaches there are insanely beautiful, a wonderful relaxing trip.
All in all, our vacation was a hit! Thanks a lot to the company, now to Greece only with Mouzenidis!

The beach is gorgeous, the sea is warm, with small waves, you can drift on them, class! Very good food, quite varied....for lovers of delights there are local restaurants, cafes, taverns. For lovers of excursions, they will offer a lot of options, who want to save money, look for yourself in local bureaus. What is offered in the hotel is much more expensive! The local nature is very impressive, green, everywhere is very clean and well-groomed! We went to Rethymnon and Chania, rode a train to Lake Kournas... I liked it very much! In general, for such a holiday, I recommend everyone to visit the Vantaris Palace hotel. We went with a Smart tour, took a last-minute tour... it turned out quite inexpensively (430 euros for one)! Definitely coming here with my husband next year!

Breakfast is good, on Rhodes in 4th it was more modest, and for dinner it was not even possible to try everything, it often did not reach desserts. Although their cakes are delicious with cream, it is impossible for us to eat them. There are more Germans in the hotel than Russians, although already in July our regiment clearly arrived. However, I did not notice the notorious admiration for the Germans. In the dining room, they immediately approached the table, and while we were picking up food, there was already coffee poured into cups, boiling water and milk on the table. Cleaned normally, linen changed every other day or something like that. I didn’t look for dust behind the bed, but wiped it off the surfaces. Who rested on the p / n like us, could have lunch at a point on the beach, but the quality there is not the best. There is absolutely nothing to do in Kavros in the evening, so the hotel is for those who have a car. Well, or in the evening to the nearest Rethymnon (20 km) for a walk. But buses run once an hour and, I'm sure, not until late at night.
