Personally, my opinion - it doesn't matter which hotel to go to Crete, because here you need to spend as little time as possible in the hotel; ) But still, for those who are interested. . . The hotel is located in an excellent location - western Crete, between Rethymno and Chania. But next to the national highway that runs through the whole of Kavros (sometimes you can hear it in the room at night). The beach is excellent - sandy, wide with a gentle entrance. Everything in the hotel is done with dignity, but no frills. There is only one pool, not heated. There is also a children's room, whether it is heated or not. The food is not a big choice, but everything that is there is very tasty. Several times there were fish days - mussels, squids, shrimps, octopuses, several types of fish. Breakfasts are purely European - scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, cheese and sausage slices, vegetable slices, various cereals, and something else like sausages or boiled eggs. In short, breakfast is poor, but as I understand it, this is a normal phenomenon for Europe. Alcohol, which is included in ALL - everything is local, including Metaxa, Ouzo, Raki, whiskey, wine, beer, etc. Martini was included from non-local, but only Dry. Maybe there was something else, I don't know. Cocktails are made from what is. . From snacks in the evening at the bar - nuts and chips. Rooms - standard are of different sizes. We had a very small one, friends have 2 times more. Everything in the room, in principle, is in good condition - both repair and furniture. Of the minuses - very poor insulation in the bathroom with the next room, and the beds - two shifted (separate for one or two). Animation - various sports games (football, volleyball, etc. ), some dance lessons, children's animation. Evening animation - 2 pm was a Cretan evening, the rest of the days - a disco for children. The resting contingent - at first there were mostly elderly Europeans, then they were replaced by Russians and Ukrainians, and all, in my opinion, with children. Personally, I liked the hotel.
