We went on vacation together, without children. We did not expect that the hotel is located so high on the mountain. . The check-in was prompt. We asked to settle us in a room with a sea view, without any problems they settled in such a room, in a 2-storey bungalow on the 1st floor. The pros of the 1st floor are cooler, the cons are the tramp of the second floor and the natives in the form of caterpillars and beetles go to visit under the door crack. Not all rooms have double-glazed windows.

We rented a car in Elounda for 3 days -80 euros with full insurance, the Volz is small, the consumption is small and it goes well uphill. Gasoline from 1.62 to 1.9 euros per liter. Drove 500 km.
