Believe me, this hotel was full of problems:
- constant failure of the electronic number key,
- old: rooms, old plumbing, broken ventilation, 15-inch TV (CRT 15 years old! ), ancient safe,
- lack of a proper air conditioning system,
- bad cleaning (that's a song! ),
- billed for calls from the phone from the room, use of the bar, although we did not use it;
- an attempt to rent a car is much more expensive than from a tour operator's guide;
- you won’t go into the water on the beach after lunch (even feces floated).

In general, a hotel for respectable people craving the sun and loneliness, or for newlyweds.
The meeting party was Le Grand, there are no complaints against them. We had an individual transfer to the hotel, they put us in a taxi (an old Mercedes), but we got there absolutely well, the road from the airport to the hotel took about 1 hour.
The hotel impressed us with its old age. The fact that it was built in 1975 can be seen immediately, but they blatantly lie about the annual updates written in the catalogs. Greek-style interior - white rough walls, dark floor, dark furniture, some vases, chests. We had a superior room sea view, but they gave us a completely small dark room overlooking the mini market. To the question: “Where is the sea view? ” They began to lie to us that our reserved room was not vacated by a tourist on time, as she fell ill, but this is only for one night, tomorrow after breakfast we will transfer you, and in the form of compensation they give us Greek night. To put it mildly, we were disappointed. the next day we were nevertheless transferred to the promised room, which turned out to be larger and brighter.
We had half board - breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is still nothing, but dinner...The choice was not very good, but showing off...The waiters meet you, escort you to the table, pull up a chair, give you starched napkins.
By the way, there is a dress code, but I saw people in shorts and slippers at dinner. Mostly it was ours. The Italians and the British are all brand new, dressed up, cheerful. In general, it’s better not to take dinner, but you need to go to different restaurants, which we did later. There is a good fish restaurant Thalassa, and on the territory of the neighboring Elounda Beach there is a good French restaurant. On Wednesdays at the fish restaurant Lobsters party - I recommend to go, it's very tasty.
Pleased with the sea - clean, warm, with a convenient entrance. There is a pool with sea water, a children's pool with jets and an indoor one with chlorinated water. We went to the Aqua plus water park, in principle, nothing, there are a lot of slides, there is a "lazy" river. Taxi from the hotel and back - 120 euros. At 15 min. walking distance from the hotel is the village of Elounda, the small port, souvenir shops and numerous taverns. There is a sightseeing train that takes you to the neighboring village of Plaka and back. I advise you to go, the children will especially like it.
We never went to the Greek night on Saturday, although we were indeed given a free invitation as compensation for spending the night in another room. In general, the impressions of the rest were not bad, but the general appearance of the hotel (still old! ), the price-quality ratio overshadowed our mood.
A hotel for wealthy people, for a relaxing holiday. A little more modest than the neighboring Elounda Beach, but this does not beg for all its merits.
The view from the terrace is beautiful) The only drawback in the bungalow is the accessibility for insects, those that crawl on the ground.
