The hotel is good, very comfortable and cozy.
There is nothing to complain about, although I have never been to Turkey and Egypt, and I cannot compare it with Turkish delights (I only know about them from stories).
In the hotel we booked a bungalow with a partial sea view. We are a married couple with a 4 year old child. We arrived late in the evening, we were taken from the reception to the bungalow by an electric car (3 min. ) A good service, considering that it is a bit uphill and with suitcases. Settled in a spacious room with a large balcony and a beautiful view! As experienced travelers immediately puzzled - where is the catch? No ventilation, no animation, no road nearby - silence and beauty. The answer was received the next day when they came from the beach. Sunny side! You can’t go out onto the balcony, you can’t open balcony doors and even curtains - it’s hot and strong wind from all sides. I dwell on this in detail, because. Little things like that can ruin everything. They asked to be relocated and a day later we were given another room, where after lunch there was a shadow, but the wind did not allow us to sit on the balcony and read. By the way, there is an electric kettle in the room.

As noted at the beginning, there are no complaints about the hotel: the food is varied and fresh, meat and seafood are in stock. Animation for children is normal, the beach is good - two small bays guarantee complete calm. Umbrellas and sun loungers, of course, for a fee, but in sufficient quantities both in the morning and in the afternoon, towels - for a deposit. The animation on the beach is also not intrusive.
Minuses:
1. A hot wind was blowing all the time and even in the evening it was not comfortable in the city. It was the hottest period of the abnormally hot summer.
2. Excursion program - no, nothing to look at! True, there are ruins of the supposedly Minosian palace, but at +50 - this is a big fan. And another standard set for, sorry, suckers: an excursion to an olive oil factory, a ceramic workshop, etc.
3. The nearest town of Agios Nikolos is 2 km away, it seems not far, but you don’t find yourself every day. By taxi: 6 euros, by bus: 1 euro, according to one well-known schedule.
4. There are no architectural beauties in Crete.
Bottom line: I advise those who love comfort and swims in a calm sea to go to this hotel.
For example, two couples whom we met on the beach for this very reason chose this hotel, although in Crete, and in Greece, they rested not for the first time.
