Конечно, невозможно за 2 (даже полных) дня объять необъятное. Но мы попытались. Летали в Афины самостоятельно (в ходе самоспланированного тура: Афины-Рим-Ватикан-Кипр), сами же планировали передвижения по всем городам.
Итак, Афины. Конечно, были планы, выполнить которые не срослось (например, посетить Спирос Луис, взойти на Ликавитос), но поговорим о сбывшемся!
Из аэропорта до отеля КОСМОС и наоборот: перед терминалом прибытия на двери 3 и 4. Автобус № X95 до площади Синтагма (5 Евро, конечная, круглосуточно), а затем по красной линии метро (1.4 Евро) до Metaxourgio станции. ИЛИ пешком от Синтагма минут 20 (если мало багажа и днём).
С собой брала распечатанные карты районов города с указанием достопримечательностей – удобно, не потеряетесь!
День первый.
Прогулка до Национального археологического музея Афин от отеля КОСМОС займет 10 минут. В музее провели несколько часов. Билет 7 Евро. Перекусили в кафе на площади перед музеем.
Бесплатная экскурсия Athenes free walking tour в 14:45 на метро Панепистимио (пешком по торговым улицам минут 20, если не заходить на шоппинг или зыринг : )). Бесплатные экскурсии (на англ. или греческом языке) – прекрасный способ познакомиться с городом, узнать много важного и интересного, а также узнать основной маршрут достопримечательностей, который можно развить самостоятельно.

Of course, it is impossible to embrace the immensity in 2 (even full) days. But we tried. They flew to Athens on their own (during a self-planned tour: Athens-Rome-Vatican-Cyprus), they themselves planned movements in all cities.

From the airport to the COSMOS hotel and vice versa: in front of the arrivals terminal at doors 3 and 4. Day one.
The National Archaeological Museum of Athens is a 10-minute walk from COSMOS Hotel. We spent several hours in the museum. Ticket 7 Euro. We had a bite to eat in a cafe on the square in front of the museum. Athenes free walking tour at 14:45 on the Panepistimio metro (on foot along the shopping streets for about 20 minutes, if you do not go shopping or zyring : )). Free tours (in English or Greek) are a great way to get to know the city, learn a lot of important and interesting things, as well as learn the main sightseeing route, which you can develop on your own.
