European Capital of Culture!
France welcomed us with warm and gentle sun. Immediately the first thing: if you are eating for the first time, I recommend that you study in detail from which train station (RER) of the airport you need to get to the hotel, otherwise we almost thought it over and had to take a taxi from Charles de Gaulle for 15 minutes. a taxi costs 35 euros.
We bought the tour ourselves in advance by reserving the air and hotel. We did not get to the Moulin Rouge, and if you wish, then go ahead of time, as the popularity is very high and there are very long queues, and the next sessions may be busy. The most important sights are Three in One, the Louvre + Eiffel Tower + Arc de Triomphe, I recommend planning this walk for 2 days, since we went in August and it took us 5-6 hours to climb the Eiffel for a walk there and then go down. The Louvre entrance is 10 euros, the Eiffel Tower is the very top of 13.40 euros, the Arc de Triomphe is 10 euros (there was a museum inside). Bus one trip 1.90 euros, metro travel depends on the length of the trip, the metro is very careful if you don’t know, you need to select the language English on the screen - Paris (a trip around Paris) the alphabet drops out, choose the first letter of the metro station you will go to, will give out all the metro stations that begin with this letter (and the RER names they intersect), choose yours and, Will, the ticket price appears on the screen, and do not forget to indicate the number of passengers. One machine accepts only small change, the second banknote + gives change, the third card . RER - just like the subway, the cost depends on the length of the trip.
Disneyland - at the hotel we had a map how to get there, we didn’t know any problems, the entrance was 69 euros / 1 adult / 2 parks, 51 like two parks for children, there are height and age restrictions. You pay only for the park, all the slides inside are free. There is enough food there, souvenirs too, we got a lot of pleasure.
For food: supermarket - affordable prices, bread 1-2 euros, cheese 200 gr. 2-3 euros, cherries 9 euros, ready-made salad 250 gr. 2-4 euros, yoghurts and dairy products 2-4 euros, wine 700g. 1-5 euros, sliced sausage 200 gr. 2-4 euros, boiled shrimp ready to eat 400gr. 5 euros. Any food in the supermarket 200-500 gr. from 2-5 euros. If you cook yourself, then the price of raw products such as meat and chicken, fish will be from 10-50 euros / 1 kg.
In the center: they ate only in specialized stalls (they are everywhere there), they sell water 0.5 l - 3 euros, a pastry with filling - 3 euros, sandwiches with ham and cheese - 4-6 euros, natural coffee with milk - 3-4.5 euros (depending on the size of the cup).
In the restaurant: Hmm. . . we didn't even go in, because the French are very nationalists and their menu is in French, period. We managed to find one restaurant near the hotel, we drank coffee there for 3.5 euros, and once we ate a pastry with an egg + cheese + ham 7 euros alone.
Korean-Chinese-Japanese canteens: I really liked it (the main thing is to say No hot) and everything will be in order, for example 300 gr. king prawns with vegetables + 200 gr. stew + 300 gr. fruit costs 13 euros, enough to eat for two at a time.
Perfume - we were at the peak of the season, so the cost of perfume from and toilet water from 100 - 60 euros, respectively. It was the same as in Ukraine, so I bought myself cheaper in Duty Free than in Paris.
Souvenirs - a warm scarf, long very beautiful 5 euros, small light ones written Paris 10 euros - 5 pieces (excellent for souvenirs). Magnets and more (caps, rag bags, T-shirts from 1-10 euros).
The city itself, of course, struck me with its simplicity, ease of movement, cleanliness, everything in the city was thought out to the smallest detail. And by the way, there are a lot of FREE PUBLIC toilets in the city, and what chic ones, so pussycats don’t have to worry (I’m just like that myself).
Have a nice time!! !
