My husband's parents decided to celebrate their 70th birthday in Paris and offered us to accompany them and organize this trip. Since long distances cause certain difficulties at such a middle age, one of the main criteria for choosing a hotel was its maximum proximity to a larger number of attractions. The starting point was the Louvre. After a thorough search, such a hotel was found, this is the Relais du Louvre. It is located in the 1st district and it is very difficult to imagine a more convenient location. Entrance to the Louvre is across the road, near 2 metro stations: Louvre Rivoli and Pont Neuf. Also opposite the hotel is the Church of Saint-Germain L'Auxerrois. The ringing of her bells wakes you up at the hotel before your breakfast is served in your room. So with the hotel we pleased our travelers 100%. There was one more moment that required organization - this was dinner at the Eiffel Tower. Unfortunately, ordering it on the Eif website. b. we didn’t find anywhere or simply didn’t notice that when you come to dinner at restaurants on the Eiffel Tower, you don’t need to stand in a general queue, but you need to go to the tent with a green Flag, show your reservation there or make it and then go to the tower and the restaurant, respectively, focusing on the inscription restaurant. If you do all this correctly, then you will be in the restaurant without any queue and at the appointed time. We did not know this, so we got into the restaurant after standing in a queue for an hour and climbing over the turnstiles. True, we must pay tribute to our fellow travelers, they did it so cleverly for their age that they even applauded the queue. The rest of the trip went according to plan and was a huge delight. We are meeting again next year.
