Parisian hotels, for the most part, are small and, as they say, without frills. It is such a "Marena".
It is located on one of the streets leading from the Opé ra district to Montmartre. To the "Opera", by the way, from where many excursions start, no less than 15 minutes of a brisk walk.
The rooms in Marena are very small, but, in principle, they have everything you need. The main thing is to have a place to take a shower and relax after a busy day. The TV is also worth it, but, to be honest, we didn’t even turn it on. There are not enough outlets in the room, so taking a tee will not hurt. Cleaned up normally, everything is clean.
Breakfast is again typical for Paris: coffee (by the way, very tasteless), croissants, and so on, little things. Moreover, eggs, if you want to taste them, you need to cook yourself, with the help of funny devices. This makes all tourists very happy in the morning! . .

There are a couple of cafes near the hotel. One of them seems to be with Asian cuisine. A bit further away is something like a Turkish bistro. A block from Marena is a grocery supermarket. In general, no one was particularly hungry in my presence, although I didn’t notice any chic in our group either. Still, Paris, whatever one may say, is an expensive city. Even more…
The Internet, more precisely Wi-Fi, is weak in the rooms. But if you go out to the lobby where the reception is, then everything works better.
By the way, here in one of the reviews praised the receptionist. Yes, that's right: one of them - a man already in years - speaks good Russian. He, of course, well done, helps tourists!
In general, "Marena" turned out to be about the same as I imagined it to be. So there are no special claims to her. In general, when you go to Paris, you need to understand that this city has its own hotel style. This must be treated philosophically: after all, this is Paris, and not Hurghada or Antalya! . .
However, Paris itself is a great city, but probably not everyone can appreciate it. To be honest, I was expecting more. So I remain of the opinion that the most wonderful city in Europe is Prague! However, this does not mean at all that Paris does not deserve your attention! . .
