good location: near (? 500-700m) 3 metro stations, bus stop nearby. Approximately 20 minutes walk to Opera Garnier, 15 minutes to Moulin Rouge the rooms are small. The room has a hairdryer, shower, toiletries, a small closet (I didn’t have enough space), a small table, a chair, an ottoman, a TV, but no refrigerator or minibar, air conditioning night light with usb port soundproofing suffers I stayed in room 405.

I stayed in room 405. WiFi was good in the room, although the signal was weak in the room next door.
cleaning, change of towels - daily
Breakfasts are typical for Paris. The croissants are fresh and really tasty.

Parisian hotels, for the most part, are small and, as they say, without frills. It is such a "Marena". It is located on one of the streets leading from the Opé ra district to Montmartre. To the "Opera", by the way, from where many excursions start, no less than 15 minutes of a brisk walk. The rooms in Marena are very small, but, in principle, they have everything you need.

It is located on one of the streets leading from the Opé ra district to Montmartre. To the "Opera", by the way, from where many excursions start, no less than 15 minutes of a brisk walk.
The rooms in Marena are very small, but, in principle, they have everything you need. The main thing is to have a place to take a shower and relax after a busy day. The TV is also worth it, but, to be honest, we didn’t even turn it on. There are not enough outlets in the room, so taking a tee will not hurt. Cleaned up normally, everything is clean.
Breakfast is again typical for Paris: coffee (by the way, very tasteless), croissants, and so on, little things. Moreover, eggs, if you want to taste them, you need to cook yourself, with the help of funny devices. This makes all tourists very happy in the morning! . .
There are a couple of cafes near the hotel. One of them seems to be with Asian cuisine. A bit further away is something like a Turkish bistro. A block from Marena is a grocery supermarket. In general, no one was particularly hungry in my presence, although I didn’t notice any chic in our group either. Still, Paris, whatever one may say, is an expensive city. Even more…
The Internet, more precisely Wi-Fi, is weak in the rooms. But if you go out to the lobby where the reception is, then everything works better.
By the way, here in one of the reviews praised the receptionist. Yes, that's right: one of them - a man already in years - speaks good Russian. He, of course, well done, helps tourists!
In general, "Marena" turned out to be about the same as I imagined it to be. So there are no special claims to her. In general, when you go to Paris, you need to understand that this city has its own hotel style. This must be treated philosophically: after all, this is Paris, and not Hurghada or Antalya! . .
However, Paris itself is a great city, but probably not everyone can appreciate it. To be honest, I was expecting more. So I remain of the opinion that the most wonderful city in Europe is Prague! However, this does not mean at all that Paris does not deserve your attention! . .

We were in Paris in May, we considered other options, but in order to take more money we stopped at Marena and did not lose. Convenient location of the hotel right between five metro stations, we only went to Possionere because on the way you can go to the local market. In it, we took sliced u200bu200band bread to make sandwiches for a walk.

It is also convenient to walk to the Opera or Montmartre.
As soon as we entered the hotel, we were given the keys to the 4th floor, the only elevator did not work that day and we had to climb a steep staircase with luggage. We immediately met one of the maids who understands only French, after doing a little cleaning she left and we were able to unpack our things normally.
Breakfast in hotels from 7.30 to 10.00, the dining room is located on the ground floor and consists of two small rooms. They are fed in the morning with cereal, boiled eggs and chopped fruit salad, coffee and tea, of course, nothing special except croissants, they are excellent here, fresh and big, I just came for breakfast for them.
They cleaned our house every day, changed towels and made the bed, so there is nothing to complain about.
From the second day, the elevator started working and it was already much more pleasant to move from the room to the dining room and then back to the ground floor to the exit hall.
I read complaints about theft in the hotel, nothing of the kind was noticed during the five days of our stay, all the money that we had was left in a suitcase under lock and key and the local safe (pantry) was not seen in the eyes.
There were several administrators at the reception (they changed during the day), they all understand a little English, so there were no problems.
A pleasant surprise was free Wi-Fi right in the room with a good connection (Marena 4 or Marena 6) for the first couple of days there was no Internet, but when we discovered it was possible to check the news and the weather.
There is nothing more to add, an average hotel to sleep, eat and watch Paris then all over again.

First I got to the London Hotel near Opera Square, a small, conveniently located, window to the courtyard, then to Marena, on one of the streets; closer to Montmartre than to the Opera. Also small, older, more modest, but a Russian-speaking receptionist works during the day. Thanks to him for his help, European restrained, unobtrusive and very correct.

The hotel itself is wow. Of course, not three stars, but two maximum - tiny rooms, poor breakfast. It's really clean, the staff is pretty friendly. One huge drawback: they steal money. There is no safe there. An envelope with the room number is placed in a closet in the utility room (pantry). Money is stolen both from the so-called safe and from the room, with both euros and rubles.

Money is stolen both from the so-called safe and from the room, with both euros and rubles. In our case, the thefts occurred on the eve of the departure of the same employee for a shift. Advice. If money was stolen from you at the hotel, you need to raise a fuss. preferably immediately and more insolently. We managed to get our money back. Another lady has stolen more than 300 euros. She didn't make much noise, so she didn't get anything back. In general, be careful - they will flog not only on the street!

We liked the location of the hotel. Not far from the metro center, 20 (at least) minutes from the Opera. The hotel is small, the rooms are small, there is everything you need except a refrigerator. Minimal food (tea, coffee, milk, cereal, croissants and buns. Sometimes canned fruit. If you order a buffet, it will be a piece of raw ham and yogurt.

Minimal food (tea, coffee, milk, cereal, croissants and buns. Sometimes canned fruit. If you order a buffet, it will be a piece of raw ham and yogurt. They are cleaned well. Towels are changed often. Administrators at the reception are ready to help. One minus - ruined the whole vacation and the impression of Paris is theft from the safe, which is located in the room near the reception. This safe is a simple bedside table without keys, where any of the staff can enter there and take money. They steal any currency, including rubles, always before leaving guest (probably so that the person could not file a complaint with the police, because it’s time to leave and there is no time for disassembly). Moreover, when the representative of the tour operator called the hotel, they said that they don’t allow money to be put in the safe at all. They saw a thousand times that we took and put money there. When they said that we would go to the police, they threw the money (they played the situation, as if they themselves curled up into a tube and fell out of an envelope sealed with tape on the floor). Although before that we examined everything, the administrator insisted that I take a closer look. I didn’t like the fact that when I returned to the room one day, they saw it open for a warmer and a towel pinned down at the bottom, although the room had appliances and bought things. The maid returned to the room 15 minutes after our return. Take what you want. Decide for yourself whether you need problems, but do not store anything in the safe. It’s safer with you, despite the warnings to be more careful in the crowd of tourists).
