In order. Arrival was at Sharjah airport, we were traveling only together with my husband. We arrived at the hotel around 21:00 local time. At the reception, we have not yet met anyone who speaks Russian, but... GOOGLE is to help us. And there is a Russian-speaking representative of the travel agency offering excursions, he helps. Thanks to him!
The number was given immediately. But they asked for another number, because. the one they gave was near the road. We were immediately changed to another one, closer to the Holiday Hotel, by the same owner (now it is being renovated, but inside the villa you can’t hear it and the noise doesn’t interfere). Habib from the reception took an electric car to our villa. The room is large, with kitchen appliances (microwave, refrigerator) and utensils (knives, forks, large spoons, plates-all of 4, a small spoon, cups, glasses). There is an extractor hood and I open the window when I cook (we only have breakfast). Pot and frying pan brought on request (2-burner induction cooker is just a dream! ). A large hall with good lighting (in the bedroom too), a large window on the entire wall. Soft corner sofa. TV, dining table with 4 chairs. Bedroom with high and large bed. Great mattress. Chiffonier. TV - for 2 weeks they have never been turned on. There is an ironing board and iron. It's not hot inside. All villas have been renovated and the walls have been insulated with a special material so that they do not warm up. Very comfortable. There is access to the lawn. The bathroom has a complete set: 2 large and small towels, shower products, shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion, soap. Replenish as needed. There is a hair dryer. Towels are changed - did not fix the frequency.
I wrote a review, did not immediately publish it, and then in recent days there have been problems with towels. At first they did not report one for the hands. Then there were no two for hands. None yesterday! I called the front desk and they brought it 20 minutes later. All are clean. Today we come from the beach, there are no both for hands. What's the problem all of a sudden? The husband went to swear at the reception, they say no problem. So it's about the cleaners (I ran quickly with all four - they took it only for hands). We left them a dollar. The husband is angry, he said, that's it, they won't get anything.
Habib brought bathrobes and slippers upon request. Also a clothes dryer. Take clothespins - there are winds.
The windows are tinted. During the day, even with the lights on, you can't see what's going on inside.
In front of the house there is a terrace and a table with chairs. From the road, and some villas from neighbors, fenced off with a hedge of tall bushes. Lawns in front of each villa. Sheared. Watered every day. In the morning we open all the doors - wonderful air. We live like in a country house!
The reception is normal, they respond to our requests and problems. We call by phone (dial 0).
TERRITORY. Birds sing in the morning. Many villas are occupied by local residents, but we can't hear their cars. They wrote in the reviews that on their weekends - Friday and Saturday - it is very noisy here: barbecue, parties until the morning. But so far we haven't come across this. No one fries near the villas. There is a specially equipped place for this near the fence, below the pool. Everything is very civilized: barbecue, tables with marble countertops, a sink with water. Yes, if they do, they cause inconvenience to those villas that are nearby.
SEA. They take buses to the city beach. Standing is not taken. Another bus is being served. From 10 to 13. Entrance fee is 10 Derhams per person. But since we are on the bus, it's free. The beach is clean, there are toilets, changing rooms, showers. You can buy food a couple of steps further. Available for hire: an umbrella - 30 derhams, a trestle bed - 10 (constant exchange rate - 1 $ = 3.65). But we immediately bought an umbrella in LuLu for 29 Derham-2 m in diameter. And 1.8 m is even cheaper - 19 derhams. We didn’t take trestle beds, the sand is soft and it’s comfortable to lie on towels (they give it at the hotel near the pool). The water in the sea is now 29.5 °. A couple of days ago they arrived and... left back. There were big waves and swimming is not allowed. Came back and lay by the pool. The pool is small, deep, but the trestle beds were brought and everyone had enough. There is a separate children's room. There is also a shower and toilet.
The breakfasts are good, but don't expect a variety of Turkish and Egyptian ones. We went to dinner so far 1 time in BUKHARI AL KHALEEJ - exit the hotel and go left. At the traffic lights on the other side and left. And there will be a wasteland between the buildings and you will see it. They took rice from 2 lula (35 derhams), a flatbread (1) and 2 drinks in cans (3 each). The prize brought salad, sauces and soup 2 plates. We ate and took rice with us, enough for 2 more dinners.
Not far from good supermarkets: LuLu, Nesto.
Rest satisfied. So far, nothing overshadowed (that's just the towels). I recommend the hotel. We are planning to come here again next year.
Then there was a meeting with the guide Serge, special thanks to him for a wonderful excursion to Abu Dhabi and for help at any time of the day or night! The hotel is located in the center of Sharjah, we knew where we got tickets, we had a room with a living room and three bedrooms, as well as a kitchen (we are with children), an awesome big room, an old repairman, but clean, they clean it, after all, it’s on Atlantis, and the price is normal, otherwise many of us want to take it cheaper, and rest like kings, this does not happen in life.
Yes, as I said, we are in the center, near McDonald's, KFS, a market with fresh seafood, fruits and vegetables (we have a kitchen, a refrigerator too), we do not go hungry! The staff is friendly, always ready to help (once an incident happened, the air conditioner stopped working, turned, came in 10 minutes, set up, asked 10 times if everything was fine), but here it is desirable to know English or have a Google translator.
The hotel area is well-groomed, green, the pool is clean, by the way, you can go to the pool in a neighboring hotel, they let you, but there is almost the same pool, by the way, maybe it’s still because of the off season, but there are a lot of free sun loungers, towels are given, there is a hammam and bath, I don’t know about hamamschikov. To be honest, my family and I really liked the hotel, and by the way it is located on the shore of a beautiful bay, and the sea by taxi is 12-15 dirhams and you are there, I think we are going to rest and should not deny ourselves anything.
Honestly, if I ever have a rest in the UAE, I will most likely return here, and during this period!
I want to say right away that if you want to communicate with Russians (at least from the staff), a variety of dishes, plenty of beach holidays, alcoholic cocktails, or just alcohol, animation (even seedy), discos, performances in the evening under the moon, you are in this hotel WILL NOT FIND.
This hotel is for people who want privacy and speak English well, and without children, because one Arab animator speaks English and Arabic, well, there were practically no other children in the hotel, except for 2-3 people coming from outside (of course, for money to swim after eight in the evening in the pool with adults) of course the children speak Arabic. It is up to you to decide whether you like this holiday or your child.
In general, this hotel is for business travelers Arabs, Russian stewards and stewardesses, along with the rest of the crew.
And so, my husband and I decided to relax in this hotel, of course, we had no idea what was ahead of us, but how our vacation went and whether you want to relax like that is up to you
We took off from Perm at 07:4.16. 08.2010 S7 Planet is quite a decent company, we were fed on board, our luggage was not lost. Arriving in Moscow at Domodedovo airport, they boarded the Aeroexpress directly at the airport, paying 300 rubles. for 1 person, 40 min. and bypassing the Moscow heat, stench and traffic jams, we got to the center of Moscow st. Paveletskaya moved to the metro 28 p. For 1 person arrived at st. Belorussky railway station, took the Aeroexpress to Sheremetyevo Airport and again 300 rubles. for 1 person, 40 min. and bypassing the Moscow heat, stench and traffic jams, we got to Sheremetyevo Airport. We took off from the new terminal. Checked luggage in the storage room 150 rubles. place and went to the nearby entertainment and shopping center AMEGA, IKEA, etc.
on the bus from the airport, the fare is 28 rubles, the entrance through the 1st door tried out of habit (as it is customary for us to enter all the doors and pay the fare for the conductor) enter the middle one, so the driver of the Armenians simply squeezed me with the door, no to say that they say come in and pay the fare for me, through the 1st door - no respect ...after passing a few stops we ended up in the T. Ts. Mega went to the cinema - 130 rubles ate and went by bus back to the airport to wait for our flight, it is with us at 19:5.16. 08.2010 Moscow - Dubai flew by AEROFLOT company fed well on board the plane flew comfortably flew in 5 hours left at Dubai airport and went through passport control (they take pictures of the retina) and receive the cargo (the cargo was not lost - excellent) after looking for the Natalie Tours sign and we didn’t find it already left the airport, but there was nothing on the street, we returned back and, oh, a miracle!
here they are a girl and a young Arab and how are we supposed to guess that they are standing in the corner of the airport and waiting for us? To hotel min. On the 20th, my husband and I were taken in a mini van, at about 2 am we were at the hotel, a small cozy one with white bungalows, evenly cut lawns, a swimming pool, and restaurants. The room was settled immediately, in the bungalow room - a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom. The room has a kettle for free coffee and tea with sugar and cream, bottled water is not given out for free, a bar with water, juices, nuts and cola is also paid. At the reception they gave 2 bars of Russian chocolate, to a very courteous Arab who took us and our luggage to the bungalow) they drive on golf courses in a small car without doors ) they also gave a bar of chocolate, they have 20 bucks in Egypt, which is very little, but we didn’t have more for gifts for them, we decided to please them with our chocolate. On the next
morning we were supposed to meet with the guide came to the hall and the guide did not plan to appear in 20 minutes. while waiting at the reception desk, a call rang and we were invited to the phone with a gesture, the guide, a young girl in her voice, Asya, said that she could come later, or all questions can be resolved by phone I already had a prepared list of questions, I quickly asked them, took the guide’s mobile phone number just in case and we went to enjoy breakfast, to our great amazement, it created the feeling that we were all alone in the hotel from the tourists, because throughout the vacation we ate alone in the restaurant and every day the same thing - fish, chicken, meat cooked deliciously it’s always monotonous for a side dish or french fries, or if you can ask in English, then rice, if you know English, then you can order anything from the restaurant menu, is that all? and moreover, lunch for 100 derhams (50 per person) because
breakfast resembles a buffet, again, the same unripe vegetables of 2 types and fruits of 3 types. Sometimes Arabs came to dinner, either workers, or bosses, or friends of bosses yelled and giggled like crazy, no respect for us. There is an Italian restaurant on the territory of the hotel, it works because of Ramadan after 7 o’clock, as it turned out on the last day of our stay at the hotel, an elderly waitress explained to us with gestures that it turned out that it was possible to eat in another bar that was located at the entrance to the hotel behind a security booth that they say there are a lot of things and they have little, but of course they will feed us if we want to dine with them.
The guide didn’t even mention this, we ate all the time in the same restaurant and the same thing was included in our package breakfast lunch or dinner, but after 7 pm 7-8 pm they reopened) I didn’t want to go for dinner. From breakfast, we took with us buns, sausages, meat, eggs, which was enough for a romantic dinner in front of the TV (where they broadcast 1 Russian channel, and from Germany and most of it is German advertising like our TV store) with a glass of wine (brought with you because in the UAE, it’s dry law and it’s better to stock up on alcohol in advance) in the room of our bungalow standing at the end of the hotel area next to the emergency exit and a carefully camouflaged trash can.
The hotel has a schedule of buses that go to the beach 1 time in the morning at 9 am departure to the ocean at 12 back and shopping in Dubai in the City Center 2 times a day in the morning at 10 and in the evening at 8 for 3 o'clock, there is no more information about excursions lunches etc. in addition to advertising projects in Arabic and English, there is a magazine in Russian at the reception, be sure to read it, all the markets and shopping centers that are worth visiting are listed there.
We arrived at the beach on the 2nd day of vacation because we didn’t have time on the first because of the guide, we were brought to the 3-star BEACH HOTEL - SHARJAH, the footman opened the door in front of us and we ended up in a large hall, everyone spoke Russian here there are many Russian shops where I bought a swimming mask (cheaper than ours by 800 rubles.
) a lot of offers for excursions, a huge pool and they ate much better than we could choose anything for breakfast, lunch and dinner, this is exactly what I wanted, but alas ...The ocean is a miracle, right off the coast in a transparent Beautiful fish swam in the glass of the water, crabs and never-before-seen octopuses or other creatures were running, stingrays peacefully swam on a flat sandy bottom without a single pebble. The shore on the beach is solid sand and shells of different types. On the beach, a girl approached me and offered to go to Dubai at a convenient time for us to get a fur coat, we agreed.
At 4 days, a young man (from Baku) who spoke Russian came to pick us up, after calling the room, we drove to the Nasser Square quarter (be sure to visit and go to the dey to dey shop there, you won’t regret paying there for only 100 rubles and a lot interesting) there we went to 3 stores and in one of them my husband bought me a fur coat for 60 tr.
(mink) they gave us a discount of 18 tr. (arriving home in Perm, I immediately turned to a specialist, they said that a fur coat is worth this money and we have such ones that are more expensive than 40 thousand, although fakes are sold in Chinese for 55, but you yourself understand the quality .. ) Satisfied, we were taken back to the hotel and we went to enjoy cool pool by moonlight (pool at the hotel is open until 10 pm).
My husband was looking for a radio tape recorder in Nasser Square (by bus from the hotel to the city center of Dubai and from him by taxi for 10 derhams. All taxi drivers know Nasser Square - a quarter like our market) did not find it, but accidentally noticed that there is an electronics store almost near the hotel. In the evening at 8 by bus we went to the city center of Sharjah and there on foot to the electronics store (there we bought a radio, a toaster - a sandwich maker, a curling iron (we don’t have any). On the opposite side of the city center of Sharjah (in the courtyard) there is a shop with very cheap souvenirs, clothes, cosmetics - I advise you to visit.
Near the hotel there is the famous T. Ts. trains, where I bought a lot of silverware, shoes - I advise you to visit there very tasty ice cream for only 3 derhams and much more ...
Somehow, having gone from the hotel by bus in the afternoon (and we went there almost alone) to the city center of Dubai, they simply forgot us and did not return for us, the security in the store called the hotel using a business card that my husband took at the hotel, but they refused to go for us offering to return by taxi, having spent 50 derhams (1 derham - 8.65 rubles) for a taxi to the hotel, I immediately dialed a guide and politely asked either to return the money to us or to extend our room on the day of departure, since we need to vacate the room at 12 noon and they will come for us at 10 pm, in the heat of 40 we would not want to wander somewhere.
The guide solved this problem until our last day of stay at the hotel, but she decided to thank her for this, they brought a basket of fruit to our room (there was never such fruit at breakfast), we extended the room until 6 pm and thanks for that, because can whenever they want...
Near the hotel there is a wonderful garden of palm trees with beautiful birds, a lagoon in which you can not swim there sewage plums and all sorts of biting creatures. By the way, next to the HOLIDAY INTERNATIONAL hotel, the owner is the same as in Marbella, in the evening you can walk along the lobby of this hotel, it’s very beautiful there, not like in Marbella.
We flew back from Dubai to Moscow without incident at Dubai airport, there was an overweight of 7 kilos, but they didn’t take money at the airport, they spoke Russian, but only when we flew away the cargo was taken by Russians and when the Arabs arrived.
At Dubai airport, a very good Dutifree works even at night, I advise fashionistas to leave dollars or derhams for cosmetics and perfumes From Moscow to Perm, we flew by AVIONOVA (I do not advise flying with this company - drinks and food on board are all paid). HAVE A GREAT REST!!! !
Towels are provided for the beach, free of charge. The beach is huge, several hotels overlook it, there are no fences (you can ride jet skis, for a fee).
Opposite the hotel in the lagoon there is a floating restaurant-ship, across the road there are many cafes with national cuisines to choose from. Behind the locomotives is the fish market, behind it is the bus station. To Dubai - 7 dirhams (60 rubles) per person. All buses leave not on schedule, but as soon as they are completely filled with passengers, the first three rows are only for women. For comparison, getting into a taxi to Dubai in Sharjah costs 20 dirhams + a traffic jam. The difference is huge, considering that to buy, for example, tickets to the Burj Khalifa tower, you need to buy in advance (4 times cheaper - 100 dirhams), and then come again. In the subway, they bought gold cards once (to ride in the first carriage without a driver), and later - silver ones.
On the first trip, we bought excursions (safari, Abu Dhabi, Dubai), on subsequent trips, we studied all the places of interest and traveled by bus (we even visited the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah).
In the city - took a taxi at the exit of the hotel. Shopping centers (Mega Mall, Sharjah City Center) and sales are in no way inferior to Dubai ones. On Rolle Square - the Indian quarter - a huge selection of fabrics and clothing.
