On the first day I was disappointed with the assortment for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Or rather, its complete absence! Poor selection in everything. I was struck even by the elementary absence of fruits, vegetables and the complete absence of seafood.
The territory as a whole was clean, but the beach area was simply strewn with small debris. Sunbeds and tables under umbrellas as well, the staff did not bother to remove bird droppings and spilled drinks. The coastline was also left to itself. On days when waves washed ashore a lot of jellyfish and garbage, which were also ignored by the hotel staff. Rest with children in such conditions is unpleasant. I was surprised that there were no toilets or changing cabins on the beach. I had to drag the child across the entire territory if she suddenly wanted to pipe (200 m from the beach to the toilet by the pool) !!!!! ! It's neither 20 nor 50 meters!!!
The hotel as a whole does not imply the presence of children. Constantly holding conferences. The formal presence of a children's pool, slides and a children's club is not an indicator! The complete absence of a children's menu and animation!! ! The whole animation began and ended with aqua aerobics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The mini club is in a terrible state, the playground is laid with soft tiles bent along all the edges from time to time, on which the children stumbled over and over. The slide to the pool is so old that the children could hardly slide down it. This whole charming picture was added by the fact that a construction site was launched on the territory of the hotel. Having blocked the passage to the beach, they drove construction equipment, which, with its roar, gave a special impression to the rest. By the pool, having also separated the territory, the builders began to paint the floor, which made them very pleased with the aromas of paint !!!!!!!
And for all this wonderful picture, the reception staff were surprised that this did not suit vacationing tourists and did not at all try to make amends for all this impression from the hotels !!!
With such a level of service, this hotel simply does not pull on the "five" class !!!!!
Sorry for the money spent on the discrepancy ((((((
January weather in Dubai is not always conducive to a beach holiday due to cool water and wind, but Habtoor Grand Resort & Spa has a chic pool, which is located in such a way that there is practically no wind on its territory, and the pool itself is very well heated.
So during the day there is very comfortable summer weather and you can sunbathe, swim and enjoy the summer. The only downside is that the pool is not very deep and you can not dive. There is a children's pool and slides.
The sea was quite windy, so they did not always swim there.
Both on the sea and on the terrace near the pool, there are gorgeous views of the Dubai skyscrapers. There are already a lot of photos of the hotel, so I want to offer a video. I think it will be interesting to see those who choose a hotel in order to better understand what it is like. View from the room and the area near the pool:

The hotel area is very green, there are several tennis courts. To the right of the hotel is Sky Dive. A parachute jump in pairs costs about $550. Notable for the fact that you jump over the world famous artificial island - Palm Jumeirah, very beautiful views.
The hotel rooms are comfortable, the furniture is modern, designer, the rooms were cleaned well. We had a room on the 18th floor with a side view of the sea, the second tower of Habtoor, and the territory of the neighboring hotel Le Royal Meridien Beach. Minus the room - there was no balcony, and dirty windows.
In general, the hotel is excellent, and there are small flaws everywhere. We rented a car, drove around Dubai, went to the Indian Ocean. All in all, you had a great time, and I wish you all the same!
About the hotel - lived in towers 6-8 floors, each in a separate room, the music did not interfere. About the hotel is described below in other reviews, we liked it, we are not picky)). The rooms were spacious, with everything you need (I asked for an iron and adapters at the reception). TV 2 Russian channels. The breakfast was quite satisfying. There is a large complex on the territory: many restaurants, a decent swimming pool, a small park, spa treatments, a disco. It is far from the sun loungers to the sea, but we didn’t have much time to sunbathe. The sea is good!
We arrived on 11/21, the day before it started raining for the first time in 9 months, the temperature dropped to 18-20 degrees (then it increased slightly every day, and already on 11/25 it was 28 degrees). The first half-day we settled in, swam (the water was 22 degrees), in the evening we went on a promenade - acquaintance with the area - I liked the atmosphere.
22.
11- Half a day rest, then Desert Safari - I liked it, I advise.
23.11- Dubai City Tour - from morning to lunch - liked the museum, artificial island-Palm, after lunch Shopping tour & Burj Khalifa - were at the old city Souk (bazaar) - bought presents, Burj Khalifa tour plus dinner and singing fountains - impressed .
24.11-Hatta Mountain Safari - by jeeps, crossing the border of Oman (1 min-documents inspection), swimming in a mountain river and having lunch at a pleasant local hotel with a gorgeous view of the mountains - a little tiring, but interesting. In the evening, Dhow Cruise on the Creek with Dinner - honestly, so-so.
25.11- Swimming / sunbathing, plus presents at the Shopping Center, transfer to the airport.
Every evening we walked in the area - very rich, beautiful, exotic ...
Sorry for the long review - we all loved it!
The hotel, built in 2005, therefore, does not differ in particular modernity in the interior. The lobby is quite compact, the service in the hotel is unobtrusive. The rooms are large in size, made in bright colors, with large windows and a beautiful panoramic view of the beach, the hotel grounds and the city.
The hotel has many restaurants and bars with a variety of world cuisines: Chinese, Italian, Thai, Lebanese, Oriental and international cuisine, English pub, sushi bar, grill bar, hookah bar, retro night bar, cocktail bar, night club as well as a pool and beach bar.
The hotel has a Jungle Kids Club and two water slides. But the hotel is not recommended for families.
Excellent beach 200 m long on Jumeirah Beach. Not far from the hotel is the famous water park Wild Wadi.
on the 1st line, with its own beach.
Internet paid (50 dirham-1 hour)
The restaurant has alcohol.
The transfer to the mall is free.
Hotel in oriental style.
Palm tree view.
Family rooms consist of 2 standards in each room a bathroom.
Club rooms are more privileged and also provide airport transfers.
The hotel is very popular!
Although not surprising!
It is located on the coast of Jumeirah.
It has its own not at all small outdoor pool + its own mini-water park!
Good and varied food.
The hotel is very good for families with children: there is a pool for kids, a playground, a good kids club.
The hotel consists of two buildings - towers. Once it was a kind of hallmark of Dubai.
Yes, it is not at all new, but the years have not affected it at all, all the rooms are in perfect condition.
And it still remains one of the best hotels in Dubai.
