Larko in Larnaca arranged for the price, located in the city, perhaps the location is not the best, near the road, and the hotel itself is very simple, but no one hides that it has only 2 stars. The center is about 15 minutes on foot, the beach is 10 minutes, Finikoudes beach is 15 minutes away. But walking is good too. But there are many taverns nearby, there are shops, which is a plus! In stores, prices are like Moscow, there is a market, fruits are class. The room is small, the furniture is not new, the Internet does not catch in the room, but I caught it by the pool, by the way it is small, clean. For breakfast: eggs, cheese, vegetables, sausage, muesli, in general, as usual. Dinners were not booked. Cleaning is regular, linen is also changed, there are Russian-speaking staff at the reception.

but there was also a drawback - the mattress smelled terribly in the room, but I liked everything else very much!

Hello!
I will say right away - all estimates, taking into account the fact that it is 2.
I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, but my goal was not a beach holiday, but a tour of the island itself.
Location: excellent location - located 10 minutes drive from the airport (there is a minibus in ap number 625 right next to the hotel). It takes 15 minutes to walk to the bus station and Finikoudes beach, from where you can easily go to Ayia Napa, Limassol and Nicosia. So for the location for the purpose of travel, it is the most. Walk 5-7 minutes to Mackenzie Beach. The only negative is the distance to large markets - it takes about 45-60 minutes to go to CARREFOUR, to Lidl another 10 minutes longer)
Meals: I took only breakfasts, which consist of sausage, cheese, cereal, chocolate balls, milk, boiled eggs, coffee-tea, bread and cucumbers / tomatoes. In principle, you can have a snack, but for 3-4 days you don’t even want to go)
Nearby there is a small tavern (to the left of the hotel) where everything is served very quickly and there is a takeaway service, at very humane prices. And if you move away from the hotel for 10-15 minutes, there will be a huge selection of different cafes.
In the hotel itself, not all rooms are equipped with a kitchen, so when booking through booking, specify that you need a kitchen. I was first settled in a room without a kitchen, and in the morning, at my request, they moved me to the room I needed completely free of charge and without any problems. I don’t know how full the kitchen is in the rest of the rooms, but there was nothing in mine, I mean detergents, salt, etc....
There is a gym, the key to which can be taken at any time of the year, a table tennis table, a swimming pool and a sauna.
In general, as for a hotel with 2 stars, it’s really nothing, and for a few nights it’s quite YES)

Hello, Dear tourists who are planning to visit this hotel in Cyprus in Larnaca. Hotel Larco is quite consistent with its 2 stars. The food is extremely scarce and monotonous, it’s a sin to demand something more from 2 stars, and my husband and I didn’t fly to the hotel to sit for 3 weeks, by the way, we were from 14.09. 14 to 2.10. 14. During our stay, we got along well with staff, people are polite, at the reception there is a Russian-speaking girl, in the kitchen the staff speak Russian, the cleaning lady cleans the room every day, although not every day she changes the bedding. It is a 5-minute walk to the first beach of Kastelo, to others from 15 minutes or more (depending on how fast you move), there are wonderful taverns around, there are also small eateries for different budgets. For comparison: in taverns you can overeat from 35 to 60 euros, in a kebab cafe for 15 euros you can also overeat with pleasure. Let's go back to the hotel. . . The hotel has a very interesting payment system for ordered drinks. Buying a drink in a cafe or canteen. . whether it's coffee, tea, beer, wine, anything, you don't have to pay for this product, it just goes to you automatically as a loan, for which you receive an invoice when you check out, you can also pay for drinks immediately after the fact (which we, in fact , always did, in order to avoid confusion, and not lovers to buy on credit, no matter what). So, we periodically ordered wine for dinner or a glass of beer, paid, always leaving a tip, not forgetting to sign the check. . . So, when leaving, a full bus comes for us, we hand over the keys to the reception and then it turns out that we have to pay 12 euros for some unpaid check, the check was shown, the check does not indicate what and when, and knowing our pedantry, this simply could not be! I was very indignant, demanded evidence, witnesses from the kitchen, who knows that we always paid and everything after the fact! The bus is waiting, I'm not going to pay, the citizen is not going to let us go, he threatens to call the police and block our entry into the country forever, I agreed to his proposal, call me, I say !! ! The case ended with the fact that we took pity on the people who had been waiting for us on the bus for 40 minutes, my husband threw 20 euros in his face and we left this hotel. And yet it all started so well. . we made new acquaintances in this hotel from different parts of Russia, we had a good time, but the farewell was disastrous. The moral of the above is this: people, if you go to this hotel, sign everywhere and in everything, but rather require a copy of the receipt, just in case, in order to avoid such situations. Sincerely, Julia and Alexander.

Came to Cyprus for the first time. Flew from Kyiv "Aerosvit" in 2 hours 40 minutes. We arrived at the hotel at 17:00. They settled us immediately. Came to Cyprus for the first time. Flew from Kyiv "Aerosvit" in 2 hours 40 minutes. We arrived at the hotel at 17:00. They settled us immediately. First we were given a two-room suite on the ground floor. There was also a kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, sink, dishes, air conditioning, TV (though both without a remote control), and a terrace with a table and chairs. But after 3 days we were told that we were flooding the basement and moved us to a standard room. There is already no smell of a kitchen, a refrigerator, but a TV and a conder with remote controls, a tiny balcony where a table and one chair-2 people can hardly fit there. As for all the rooms, the furniture is old, the plaster is cracked in some places, but everything worked properly (although in the first room the drain did not work well in the sink), the water was hot and cold all the time, there was no fungus in the bathroom. Towels were changed 2 times a week, cleaning was noticeable only by the fact that the garbage disappeared from the baskets. Our meals were breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was always the same: tea, coffee, juices, milk, 2 types of cereal, boiled eggs, toast, 2 types of jam, margarine, sausage, cheese, cucumbers or tomatoes. For dinner, bread, margarine, a salad of tomatoes and cucumbers, and a type of salad with mayonnaise, one hot meat or fish dish, rice or potatoes or pasta, and some kind of hot vegetable dish. Once changed dinner for lunch, no problem. For lunch, everything is brought to you on the table - first, second, dessert. We did not go hungry, the food was quite decent. The pool on the territory is small, we never swam in it, the sea is nearby, so I can’t say anything about it, but the people swam there, sunbathed. There are Russian-speaking girls at the reception, but even with non-speaking girls, you can agree on everything on your fingers (I'm not friends with English). They took ice in the room, iron (20 euro deposit). An adapter for an outlet costs 1.15 euros in the store, but the hotel rents 3 euros, of which 2 are returned upon departure. But that's all about the hotel. If you leave the hotel and turn left, and then left again, then after 7 minutes. walk to Mackenzie Beach. A long coastline, a beach with a blue flag, where he wanted, he lay down on the sand. Sun loungers and umbrellas for 2.5 euros. The sea is shallow, very warm, and very clean. . If you go the other way for 15-20 minutes, then you get to the Finikoundes beach, everything is the same, only it seemed to me that the water there is a little muddier (next to the port). There are many cafes and kiosks on the embankment - you can eat a hot dog for 1 euro and drink beer for the same amount (or ice cream), or you can eat more satisfying meze from 13 euros and more, an average of 25 euros for two. The portions are very large, if you order meat or fish, then a side dish and salad will be brought along with it. Near the hotel there are also a lot of all sorts of cafes, you will always find where to eat, the prices are about the same. Behind the hotel there is a small shop, there is water (2.5), juices, sausage, cheese, bread, canned food, everything is there so as not to die of hunger. In the center, not far from the Finikoundes alley, there is a Smart supermarket where you can buy everything you might need. In the center there are many souvenir shops, shops of famous brands. Right there on the alley you can take a bus and for 3 euros you can get to Ayia Napa and Nissi Beach, it is considered the coolest - fine white sand, clear blue sea-kaotins from the Bounty advertisement. Also not far from Finikundes there is something to see from history: the Turkish fort (entrance 1.7 euros), the church of St. Lazarus (on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9-00 there is something like a free tour with a Russian-speaking guide), there is a museum right next to the church (1 euro). Not very far from the hotel is a salt lake, on the shore of which there is an old mosque, you can also see it. Of the excursions, there were only one, called "Following Aphrodite" (75 euros from the nose), lasts all day, visited the birthplace of Aphrodite, her bath, temple, dined and were at a wine tasting. In general, excursions are quite expensive, from 68 euros to 400 (this is already outside of Cyprus). We didn’t rent a car - left-hand traffic is not inspiring, but on average it costs 30 euros per day, usually for at least 3 days + you pay for a full tank, rental at every turn. Well, that's basically all in a nutshell. We were satisfied with the rest - the weather in mid-September was excellent, the sea was just beyond praise, the people are very kind, everyone smiles at you, asks how you are, but they don’t grab your hand and don’t try to sell something. Feels like Europe

Hotel "Larko" - exactly what we expected, no more, no less just for 2 **. The room (314) is old, the white walls are dirty in some places, the bathroom is very simple, but nevertheless everything worked. I want to warn others about the interesting balcony door. In the evening we decided to sit on a tiny balcony, chat about life over a glass of Baileys, turned on the air conditioner in the room and tightly closed the balcony door so that the air would not come out of the room.

Somewhere at 11:15 we decided to go to bed and found that the door to the balcony had slammed shut from the inside. They pushed it, pushed it, nothing could be done from the outside, no protrusions and handles. Here it was caught in a mousetrap, we decided to call someone from the neighboring rooms, there was no one, call from the street - silence. We hung like this on the balcony for about 20 minutes, all sorts of thoughts in my head, we thought we would have to spend the night. And then another shuffling of the door - and it somehow miraculously opened itself, there was no limit to joy. So, be careful in these funny doors.
The food at the hotel is normal, breakfast is the same, but it was enough for me, dinners are more varied - 2 types of salad, a meat or fish dish, 2 side dishes, fruits (watermelon or melon), everything is well and tasty cooked, the food is healthy, I have in a week, digestion, which was not in order at home, returned to normal.
The hotel has a small swimming pool, a hangout place for Cypriot machos, they won’t let you sit there on the sunbeds, everyone climbs to get to know each other, they even start a conversation through the fence, without complexes. The hotel seems to have a reputation for being a pick-up location. Every evening around the hotel, flocks of suitors dance around the hotel in search of girlfriends for the evening. But, it’s quite realistic to send it off, everything is civilized and in general it’s not scary. Which of the girls does not intend to make acquaintances - they will not be made, everyone understands everything from the first time, and who does not mind - can have an interesting time, acquaintance with a Cypriot is guaranteed. We drove home with my sister, so they even handed us business cards - in case we have friends who want to marry a foreigner, then they are waiting for them and they threaten to pay for the ticket. Funny.
In general, Cyprus is a divine island, I fell in love with it for a long time, beautiful places, people open to communication, and the sea there is a song that cannot be conveyed.
I advise you to relax in Cyprus, you will not be disappointed. Bye.

There are practically no people anywhere, you can't hear the music. . . Where is everyone??? ? it's the beginning of July. The sea is knee-deep at 100 meters (I didn’t go further). It looks like our Skadovsk. Nature is poor, steppe, feather grass, sand compacted to asphalt. In Limassol, the beach is narrow, 15 meters and there is a highway nearby. You lie down and are afraid that you will be run over, you breathe gasoline. A more or less attractive landscape in Ai-Napa, at least we found views where to take pictures, white sand, a few rocks. We entertained ourselves as best we could. They only quoted reviews from the Internet, which is 14 times !!! ! came to Larnaca....We visited many countries, but this time we ruined our vacation.

On the second day, at our urgent request, we (free of charge) changed this nightmare to another room - larger in size and with a kitchenette - with a kettle and a toaster. The sanitary conditions in this room are better (worth the money you paid). The air conditioner is a bit loud, but it was fine for us. In general, I recommend this hotel for unpretentious vacationers who can fend for themselves. We were satisfied with the food, especially the delicious melon : ). But the frappe in the bar was prepared frankly carelessly (maybe such a bartender got caught), so you can only buy this drink in the city : ).

If you don't really find fault, then you can live in this hotel. The hotel itself is nothing. But the staff and service disappointed me and my husband. Some tourists did not have TVs and air conditioners in their rooms - no one was in a hurry to fix them, despite complaints. The cocktails at the bar are bad.

Some tourists did not have TVs and air conditioners in their rooms - no one was in a hurry to fix them, despite complaints. The cocktails at the bar are bad. Once we ordered a hamburger at the hotel bar - so at first three people tried to figure out how to punch it at the checkout, then they cooked it for a long time, as a result, buying a hamburger for 4 euros at the hotel bar took 30-40 minutes. The strangest thing is that once an insanely noisy party was organized by the pool not for hotel guests, but for local youth. There were 200 people, I'm not lying! For what reason remains unclear. A crazy party with loud music and mass swimming in the pool lasted until the middle of the night. We are okay, but how about tourists with children? There were no warnings or explanations from the hotel administration. In the next three days after the party, the pool was heavily clogged, and it was no longer possible to swim in it. What happened next - I don’t know, our tour ended and we flew away)

I really dreamed of visiting Cyprus, despite the fact that I had been to many places. Since I was limited in days and money, I decided to stay at 2 * Larco. Before leaving, I didn’t read numerous comments and was ready for anything as a prince. Upon arrival, I was alerted by the fact that when I got on the bus at the airport and everyone gathered in the princepe, a woman entered and said who was in Larco to get off the bus, well, I was one of 50 people and got out, then I thought))) I liked to relax in the hotel, in short , I expected Khuchsheva but nothing tolerable, the rooms are decent, you can sleep, the food is average, the staff is sometimes friendly but flatly refuses to speak Russian, although I know 100% that the blonde girl in the bar is from Russia or another Slavic country))) The locals were pleased the inhabitants are very friendly and sociable (requiring nothing in return) Who will rest in Larco say hello to grandfather Andre, who always sits at the bar in the evenings, he is local and not annoying))) Cyprus itself is very beautiful, was in the neighboring resort of Ayia Napa so very cool youth and constant parties, for me a measured rest, so 2 * justified.
