In addition to making the bed, they carefully folded clothes, brought dried linen into the room from the street, washed glasses after cocktails, if they did not have time to wash them themselves, changed towels and bed linen). In general, they looked after like a mother in childhood at home)). At the request of "do not disturb", a bottle of water and a roll of paper were placed near the door.
2. The food is monotonous, but tasty.
From meat - chicken, beef, liver, fish, sausages, meatballs, goulash. There are more than enough raw and stewed vegetables. Side dishes - potatoes, brown and white rice, pasta, spaghetti, beans. A lot of sweets. Of the fruits, only dates, oranges, melon, grapefruit. Usually for four, but most importantly - everything is fresh, tasty. There were enough places in the restaurant, there were no problems with dishes either. The staff is polite, smiling, singing).
3. There are enough sunbeds on the beach. Even by eight or nine in the morning, having arrived, you can find a place on the first row by the sea. Since we came to the beach before breakfast, there are very few vacationers at this time, you watch how the guys diligently put things in order on the beach and wash the sunbeds. The sea, without comment - just fine! And the offers on the beach of spa services, excursions ...unobtrusive at all, no one bothered us.
4. Animation is good. Three groovy guys and two girls. The most important and classy is Sony.
They managed to entertain and lure vacationers every day. We mainly took part in daytime activities, as in the evening we most often left the hotel to visit friends.

The territory of the hotel is very beautiful, green and well-groomed. The pools were unheated in winter, so we didn't swim in them. The food is normal, monotonous, but there was always something to eat: either meat or fish, in general, you definitely won’t stay hungry. The big plus of this hotel is the beach!! ! There is sand and clean water for children, on the sides of the beach you can enter corals from the stairs right away, it feels like you are just swimming in an aquarium with fish! In general, we really liked it and we would love to come here more than once!

When planning a trip here, I recommend taking with you a beach towel, bed linen, shampoo, toilet paper, a fumigator, biting fly cream and, of course, activated charcoal and antidiarrheal drugs.
Attention: At the Hurghada airport, representatives of the tour operator swindle Russian tourists for money and sell a visa for three dollars more. They brazenly lie that the bank at the airport does not work. In fact, airport services have specially located points for the sale of visas away from the flow of passengers. In addition, porters at the exit from the airport grab luggage, take it to the bus, and then extort money. Tales that the airport is full of lies. We are the only ones who waited for an hour for the baggage claim.
The hotel is 7 km away. However, we drove 1.5 hours. Coral Travel brought tourists to 8 hotels. When the bus stopped outside the Regina Hotel, we immediately felt sick. The signboard is covered in dirt, the same dust is all around in the hall. We arrived in a company of 4 people from Belgorod, paid for two standard rooms for 10 days at a cost of 30 thousand rubles. from a person. Russians are settled in bungalows and old buildings. Europeans - in the new building. We got a bungalow after cosmetic repairs No. 738. It immediately caught my eye that no one changed bed linen and towels, there was dust and dirt all around. I immediately returned to the reception and described the problem. On the offer to pay 20 c. u. answered with a refusal. Then the administrator offered to return to the room and wait for the cleaner. For your information: There is no Guestreleshen in this hotel. For all problems at the reception, where they will not even fix your problem. They will answer with an excuse, they say, we will decide soon, later.
As a result, the cleaner brought to replace dirty linen a similar set of linen and even worse than the previous one. The towels hadn't been washed either, and the bedspreads showed traces of wiping off a bare backside.
All bungalows in this hotel do not have windows. Instead, stained glass. Because of this, the rooms are very dark and damp. Plumbing is old, the shower is small, liquid soap and toilet paper are not added. Writing notes to the janitor in English is useless. And I don't speak Arabic. The cleaner only comes to make the bed and that's it.
As a result, on the first day we went to the city, bought toilet paper, four sets of bed linen and a towel, shampoo, soap, fumigators. Stayed within 150 USD

The food is surprisingly good for a four star. Although, these stars do not appear anywhere. The hotel positions itself as "Hospitaly", i. e. pension. Meat dishes are always available. Grilled meat for lunch and dinner. Three side dishes. Fish stew without bones every day. Not a bad bakery. Lots of buns. Always two kinds of soup and very tasty. From fruits melon, oranges, tangerines, guava (not tasty), dates (not ripe). No apples, no pears, no watermelon, no mango has never been. There is always a huge queue for drinks, as well as for salads. Cucumbers and tomatoes are disgusting. Cooks in dirty clothes as well as waiters. On the third day of your stay in Egypt, you get used to pitch mud. This is their way of life. The main thing is not to see the cooking process.
The beach is a dirty puddle, in which boats are located in the parking lot and drain waste directly under the noses of vacationers. For a normal, full-fledged bathing, coral slippers are needed. Then, you can crawl through a hole in the fence and swim on the beach of a nearby, unfinished hotel. However, even there the purity of water is relative, because. 300 meters from the hotel is the main port-parking of passenger ships of Hurghada. And do not expect that the owners of these ships use dry closets.
To snorkel and watch the fish on the coral reef, you need to go along the parking of boats, to the end of the beach bay and sail 50 meters from the shore. There will be a living coral reef. Fins and a mask are required.

There are three bars in the hotel. The most dumb - near the pool. Everything in it ends an hour after opening. The beach bar runs out of beer by noon. However, there are plenty of cheap drinks for drunks such as whiskey, vodka, ram, gin and even tequila until the bar closes; 24.00h It is impossible to drink this abomination. But nevertheless, drunks are delighted.
By the way, among the vacationers there are many ladies with low social responsibility and far from presentable appearance. The Arabs are delighted with them. In line at the bar, 90% of women. Moreover, in such a state that they are not able to tell the bartender the recipe for the desired cocktail. So they write rave reviews about this hole.
The territory of the boarding house is not small, beautiful, the gardeners are trying. One gets the impression that gardeners are the only workers who conscientiously fulfill their duties.
The contingent of tourists: 5% very poor Europeans, 5% Arabs, 20% Ukrainians/Belarusians, the rest Russians.
And now about Hurghada itself. The city looks like after a nuclear strike: devastation all around, a lot of beggars, dirt, stink and a lot of abandoned hotels and construction sites. Public transport is not suitable for transporting Europeans. Taking a taxi is not safe. The Arabs became unrestrained and very, very aggressive. You can feel relatively safe only on the territory of the hotel.
Before leaving, we ordered lunch boxes at the reception. We arrived at 5.00 in the morning, the administrator answered awake that there were no lunch packages for your company, because. you didn't order them. Then he came up to us and gave us 0.5 liters. four bottles of water, which, by the way, were taken from us at the airport.
The service at the airport is also terrible. The airport is divided into two zones: for Russians and others. The security service of the airport during the inspection behaves simply like bestiality. They can hit the leg, push, yell at a woman, a child. In Duty Free stores, prices are exorbitant. Toilets are dirty.
I summarize: since 1997 we have been resting twice a year in Turkey and probably we should not change traditions.

A day later, the card from the door did not work, but there were three of us and three cards, they changed them in turn.
Territory and location. This is a big plus for the hotel. The territory is not small and beautiful. Everything is green, beautiful, flowers around. They constantly plant something, cut it, etc. While there were 13 days, they managed to dig up flowers in many (normal, beautiful) and plant new ones.
Hotel in the city center, on Sheraton street. Shops around, Sherry pedestrian street, fish market nearby, Marina embankment. On the territory there is a swimming pool with cold water, a small water park. Wifi is weak.
Sea: Lagoon, on the right and left there are islands of corals (not Sharm, of course, but still normal for a city hotel in Hurghada). Entry into the sea is normal and rocky. There is a bar on the beach. The first half of the holiday had problems with free sunbeds. Tourists either occupied towels from the evening or from the night (by the way, they are not issued on the beach, but they are already in the room upon check-in, it is not convenient to change them to a cleaner later), but they themselves could come to dinner or even later. But, apparently due to a large number of complaints about this, the hotel posted announcements that towels from sunbeds occupied until 8 o'clock would be removed (it was). After that, it was possible to find a free sunbed in the morning.
This is a plus for the hotel.
But, the hotel administration, I ask you to pay attention to some of the shortcomings that I described in the review, and take measures to eliminate them. Regina can and will be better.
Animation. When we arrived, for the first 5 days there was an animation team (Otto, Katya, Oksana, Nuna, etc. ), which had very positive previous reviews. I don’t know if they relaxed or the tourists have nothing to compare with. There was no water aerobics, there was yoga in the morning, club dance 1 song in the morning and that’s it, volleyball, since there was a foam party on the beach for maybe 30 minutes. After dinner there was nothing, nothing at all, the animators were just there, but what was their job, unknown. (1 time was a zumba though). I did not observe particularly active communication with tourists. In the evening, the show, which did not last long, and then everything, there is nothing to do in the hotel. I tried to find out from the discos in the city, but they were not very eager to go there.
After 5 days, the animation team at the hotel completely changed. And then everything went WOW!
And water aerobics, zumba, stretching, yoga, salsa, bachata, dancing, party with colors, foam party on the beach is not 30 minutes, as before, but more than 1.5 hours, some competitions, volleyball. And the painted children walked, in the evening there were a lot of them in the mini-disco, they paid a lot of attention to tourists. In general, the picture has changed dramatically. The hotel should be grateful to you. This is the case when animation brightens up all the shortcomings of a budget hotel. They lived in a bungalow. Comfortable, isolated. Out of 5 outlets in the room, 2 worked, the rest were broken (this is a minus). The room and bathroom are large. The air conditioner worked. Everything is fine, you can live.
The food is normal. There has always been a choice. Meat (chicken, beef), fish, vegetables, both fresh and baked in a variety of ways, rice, pasta, sausages, cheeses, grilled, pancakes, fresh pita, pastries, fruits, sweets - everything is in abundance, everything is fresh. Service is good. Everyone is polite and attentive. Any question was instantly resolved both at the reception and with the waiters. The hotel was completely full, we had to stand in line for a bit, but not for long.
I did not like the behavior of the guide from Anex-Tour. The guide's name was Imat. We arrived early in the morning (the plane arrived at 6-30 am). We were settled at 12. The guide scheduled a meeting for the next morning and talked about his excursions and plans until lunch, spending a lot of our time on this. When we refused his tours (which he sold for double the price of the usual), he became rude, threatened the police, and then completely ignored us, did not even say hello.
We agreed to one tour. Sightseeing tour of Hurghada. It was a complete nightmare. From 8 am to 2 pm we were taken to their shops demanding to buy something (especially at the so-called "factory" of Nefertiti). Guide Oksana, who lives and works in Hurghada for more than 20 years, all this time told how hard life is for her, and what a poor driver, she can’t even get married, give him money, because he is so poor... remote areas (so that they do not run away, probably).

It is better not to mess with Anex-Tour and their guides.
The territory is clean, they try. Beach. If it were not for the zhlobstvo of our people, I mean the occupation of sun loungers with towels, then everything would be ok. And it's so stressful. But there are a lot of beach ottomans and, as for me, it’s even more convenient to relax on them. There is a bar on the beach. The water is warm and clean. On the beach you can take boat trips for $25. Nutrition. Been to different hotels, have something to compare. I'll tell you straight: meals for 4 s + according to a 5-point system. There were even themed dinners. The queues are a little tight. When checking out, they tried to divorce us with a fine, as if we had broken something in the room (even funny), but it is worth raising your voice and the problem is solved by itself.
My findings? If you are an experienced tourist, you can go here, if you are a beginner, you better think and weigh all the pros and cons.
In general, the hotel corresponds to its money, a large green area, there is a sandy entrance to the sea, a hotel in the very center of the city where you can take a walk, the staff is friendly, everything except the general manager.
But I want to warn all tourists about a few things:
1. Bed! We arrived at 20:00, we were immediately settled, visually everything was tired, but I'm not worried, . At 22:00 we decided to sleep...and having spread the pastel, we realized that it was impossible to sleep on this
The blanket is either pissed, or filled with yellow spots, the sheet is stained with ink, there is hair on the pillowcase.
We immediately went to the reception, we were fed 5 minutes until 1 am, unable to stand it and making a scandal, we finally changed the bed to a clean one. Beach towels could not be changed in a week.
2. In all the bungalows, sockets do not work well, they fall out and you need to press something down.
3. animation, they seem to be trying BUT it doesn't work out well.

5. Sun loungers, they are sorely lacking, but here the question is not for the hotel, but for tourists why take a sunbed for the whole day if you are on it for 1 hour. But there are pouffes that the beach workers give out, we all licked on them for seven days.
6. If the tour operator Aneks, the guide is a deceiver, took 2 excursions, everything turned out to be not as he said ...
7. Not without sad adventures, the hotel administration arranged a fire show on the half-closed track of the restaurant and something went wrong, because of the small place the fakir worked in a limited space, but gasoline (or whatever he had) blurted out everywhere, an uncontrolled fire seized on the floor and passed to the girl on the leg, the equipment also began to burn, they quickly extinguished it, the children who were sitting next to it were not injured, but the girl’s leg was completely burnt.
They called a separate doctor, he smeared something, rewound, etc. , why a separate one, it turned out that the joinAp insurance numbers do not work alone!! ! For all this, the hotel administration offered as compensation ...a bottle of champagne, I didn’t even want to hear about money for treatment in Ukraine.
8. Shampoos, gels, soaps, take them with you, they are not there. And preferably a fumigator or something else from mosquitoes.
In general, the impression is twofold, like everything is not bad, but too much But, but everyone has their own requirements ...

On the beach there is a small sandy entry into the sea, there were always a lot of people, you can’t get through, and on the rest of the beach, entry is only in corals. The water was just super, warm, it was possible not to leave the sea all day). The temperature was all days +/- 40 degrees. It was surprisingly comfortable. We did not go to the water park and the pool, there were always a lot of people there. Beach towels are now in the room, due to covid, which makes it problematic to change them. Since while you are on the beach during the day, they are cleaning, and in order to change the towel, you need to leave it in the room.
The food is basically the same everywhere. were never hungry. Several types of meat, vegetables, fruits were melons, dates, oranges, several times watermelons. Grill every day. Also at 3 o'clock there was a food court at the pool. At the entrance to the restaurant every time they took the temperature. All devices in individual packages. The queues at the restaurant were huge due to the large number of local people. But, a big plus, that everyone was served on a first-come, first-served basis, there was no priority for the locals, as they wrote in the reviews from the hotel. Even if someone tried to get in without a queue, they were sent to the end) Alcohol, probably, like everywhere else, not very good. They took it with them from the dutik, so there were no questions about this). We went to an Italian restaurant at the hotel, in general, not bad, and without a queue)))
In general, we were satisfied with the rest, despite the shortcomings. We understood that this is a budget 4, and did not expect anything supernatural. I would like to return to this hotel at another time of the year, when there are fewer locals, for comparison)
