. So dear tourists of the Russian Federation))) the hotel is generally wonderful, but if something happens, rely only on yourself, but who will not help you even if you ask, and by the way, they didn’t even bother to raise the surveillance video where everything is obvious, no matter how much you ask vacationers who were already afraid to stay on the beach with these inadequate
Most outraged was the 'necessity' of buying a New Year's dinner for $ 150 each. On December 31, my husband had a fever in the evening. The vaunted Egyptian rotavirus is to blame for everything (relevant for lovers of pears with apples in the off-season). After a long search for a restaurant for dinner, which was in a large tent at the entrance to the reception, as well as listening to lectures in a mixture of Arabic and English, I found the administrator. I asked for dinner in my room, which was never brought to me. Eat on the same day in one of the hotel's restaurants failed. Everywhere they asked for a ticket for the New Year, which they took away from me (it’s my own fault, I naively believe people). As a result, the New Year without champagne and without food turned out. My New Year was stolen! Do not choose this hotel for your holidays if you are not German and if you cannot say everything you think in Arabic!
I would also like to add a review about the trip to Luxor organized by Tez Your. There are many options for itineraries to Luxor. We chose the most concentrated on the sights. As a result of an hour of waiting in Safaga for a pass from the police for a trip, the time to Luxor took 5 hours instead of the 2.5 promised by the tour agent. They took an hour and a half to Luxor, which turned out to be not enough. Why so many? Because you came here for a walk? - said the guide... then there was a move to the other side of the Nile, to the tomb of Hatshepsut on a smelly boat with a clumsy driver. A couple of times we hit with neighboring boats (the Arabs love to create a queue and a flea market out of everything). After going ashore, a dump of buses opened. They took me to dinner in some disgusting eatery, the path to which was accompanied by beggars. There was a flea market in the ‘canteen’, to distribute the arrival of buses in time - this is beyond the comprehension of the Arab mind, there was no decent food, however, as well as any acceptable for a European either. I will add that we got to the hotel for dinner at 11 pm, to the words there was nothing there except for lettuce leaves. It was important for the guide to cut down additional money at the same time. It was suggested that they visit a banana plantation so as not to waste time, according to him, moving from one side of the Nile to the other. Plus $15 per person.
P. S. Will I go to Egypt again? Definitely not.
Briefly.
1. Check-in / check-out. All perfectly. Check-in was after lunch, so I can't say anything about early check-in. For 5 dollars at the reception (which I consider obligatory in any case in any situation) they gave me a room in the central building, absolutely new and clean, spacious and comfortable. Departure was at 6 pm, the rooms were handed over at half past one, everything else - upon departure. Bracelets, of course, are not cut off, this comes to mind only in second-rate hotels, to which Albatross does not apply.
2. Nutrition. Excellent five plus. But no frills, of course. For for 600 bucks for a tour per person in NG it is difficult to expect lobsters on the tables.
Restaurants and bars are open from 4 am (early breakfast) to midnight (late dinner). One bar (coffee) is open 24/7. There are many restaurants, the variety of food choices is huge, the opening hours are arranged so that there is always something to eat, nothing ever ends. All at a very high professional level. The staff is hardly visible but they are everywhere, very fast and on time. Lots of choice of diet food, steamed, baked, not just the standard grill. Lots of veal, turkey, duck, fish, squid, etc.
Special attention deserves chic coffee!
3. Numbers. Everything is perfect.
4. Cleaning. Here was the only moment that surprised me a little compared to the perfect service in everything else. Once the laundry did not manage to cope, and the towels were not changed, but simply taken away from the room. Everything. And it so happened that in the afternoon it was necessary after the beach for the whole family to take a shower and go to Hurghada. I had a great ride around the hotel, after 15 minutes I found one towel at the cleaner, then after a claim at the reception, after an hour and a half they brought a couple more. The rest are late in the evening. But given the 100% occupancy of the hotel at this time, this can also be understood.
5. Territory. Small but cute. You won’t walk much, but for 5 bucks a taxi from the hotel to Hurghada, and a 15-minute walk from the hotel is Senzo Mall, where you can climb if it’s very boring to sit in the hotel.
6. Beach. Great. Sandy entry, depth almost immediately, there are lone corals at the bottom with fish, but this is not Charm, of course. The bay is absolutely closed from waves and winds. There is enough space for everyone and always, there were no problems with this, even when the hotel was full at that time.
General conclusion: we definitely recommend for a quiet, pleasant stay among pleasant tourists (families, couples). Especially given the relatively low price for this level of hotel.
The situation at the bar near the lobio: we are standing in line for a cocktail, the Germans are in front of us and after us, the bartender smiles, pours into a glass glass, as soon as the line reaches us, we get a paper cup, the smile disappears from our face and with a great favor in this glass that - it's pouring. After us, the Germans again in line, immediately a smile on their faces and drinks in a glass. And this is from the very first day of our stay here.
Situation two: a restaurant-dining room, a person who cooks and pours pasta. From day one, he's been very rude. We approached him with two small children, we ask you to pour pasta for two children, he pours a tablespoon and that's it! I say pour more, there are two children. Answer: What are the problems?
Yes, the rest of the staff is mostly friendly and smiling, but these two boors are just awful! Is it possible for such staff to work in a hotel?
Of the benefits: an excellent wide sandy beach and entry into the water, a children's water park, an interesting playground. But we will not go to this hotel for the second time (
Of the minuses, there is a high price for staying at a hotel, if the hotel is 100% full, then there are queues at the restaurant and bars and there may not be enough sunbeds on the beach near the lagoon.
Check-in and room: we arrived early in the morning, somewhere around 7 o'clock, immediately put on bracelets and sent for breakfast, the room was given only at 12 o'clock, and then, after we insistently asked, since we were with two small children, the room was asked for the first floor, the room was in the 5th building, near the children's pool, nothing was paid extra for the room. The room is excellent, spacious, a king size double bed and two single beds, shampoos, air conditioners were worn in packs, that was enough, they also brought water, the repair was not bad, everything worked.
Food: It's funny to read reviews when they write monotonous food. Answer yourself the question: what do you have at home every day for lunch and dinner: pasta, rice, two kinds of potatoes and meat, as well as fish? If your food is monotonous, then do not row everything into a plate, eat in turn. There was always enough food, no matter if you come at the beginning or end of breakfast, lunch or dinner, everything was always served.
Breakfast is standard Egyptian: sausages, cheeses, sausages, yogurts, pastries, fruits, jams, nutella, delicious favli in the restaurant on the second floor.
Lunch and dinner: always two types of potatoes, french fries and garlic, beef in different cooked, sometimes two types of cooking, fish, a couple of times they gave a big baked one, chicken, plus duck, pizza, pasta, rice, soups of two species, etc. , a lot of sweets.
Animation: animation goes on all day, but we didn’t go to daytime, in the evening children’s animation, girls draw face painting for children before animation, you need to come and sign up, it’s free, after children’s animation there is a short break and adult animation, there is also a kids club, for children it’s heaven, they have something to do. You won't be bored day or night.
Sea and pools: there were only 1 day in the children's pool and pool with a jacuzzi, no longer went, but spent time at the sea. The sea is warm, beautiful, the coral reef on the right is not bad, there are many different fish. There were always enough beds.
Drinks: packaged juices in all bars, except for restaurants where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served, there is only soda and yupi, there is also ice cream, but you yourself know what it tastes like. Delicious coffee, hot chocolate, milkshakes are prepared at the bar in the lobby.
The only MINUS, but this is not a hotel, but a tour operator, ANEX TOUR. Enough to marinate tourists at a meeting with a guide for 1.5 hours, people came to rest, and not only do you force them to come with the whole team, including small children, for whom sitting out for 1.5 hours is simply unrealistic, you also take away precious rest time. The guide talked for 5 minutes about some kind of electronic registration, as a result, he did not register anyone at the meeting, and the rest of the time he talked about excursions. Who wants to go on a tour, he himself will come up and the guide will tell him in detail. As a result, after meeting with the guide, it was necessary to come up after another 1 hour so that he would collect vouchers and take pictures of your tests for covid, all this takes no more than 5 minutes, and those 1.5 hours are a mockery.
The only point, be careful in insurance, Vuso insurance has made changes, injuries received not on excursions bought from a tour operator, this is not an insured event.
Have a great holiday everyone.
We arrived somewhere around 6 am at the hotel, bracelets - immediately, check-in at 14 (asked earlier and with money - no way). In the central building, the windows overlook the pool, the room is small, the extra bed for the child is normal, the problem is in the air conditioner - it blows strongly, where is the child's bed, and the room is like a cut off one corner, there is simply nowhere to rearrange.
Beach. Sand. Excellent entry, bay, circles on the water. Rescuers. I come very early in the summer, everything is free at 6 in the morning, at 9 it will be problematic. On the right is the Palace beach, but from the embankment there is a narrow entry along the sand to the corals, it is very shallow and there are a lot of fish: we saw a stingray, a moray eel, and fish - boxes, balls. On the left is another embankment, beautiful in the evening.
Animation - is, different, both during the day and in the evening, for children and adults, we were not actually present, we do not need it.
Food. 3 restaurants. For breakfast and lunch - 2, on the 1st and 2nd floor - breakfast is standard: eggs, sausages, waffles, pancakes, cold cuts, fruits, vegetables, pastries, I really like croissants.
Lunches are plenty of choice.
Dinner + Italian restaurant, there is a lot of fish. From morikov - squid. If you have the main condition - red fish, crabs, shrimps - you are not in this price category. Egyptian restaurant - a lot of food on the grill and tajine.
We have enough. Alcohol - we drank only beer and red wine, we don't know the rest.
For me, a very big plus is good coffee at 6 in the morning, and then at any time. There are a lot of coffee drinks downstairs in a separate bar.
Also from 13 to 17 - ice cream.
The flight was early and the food was prepared without any problems.
For me, the only inconvenience is the change of towels. Clearly at 18 pm to hand over and receive new ones at 8 am. Since I was much earlier on the beach, they didn’t give up, they tried to change it in the morning, it didn’t work out.
We were in this hotel in 2020, as soon as Hurghada was opened, in a year they completed the embankment on the left, renovated the rooms in the main complex. From the minuses - they clean the beach worse, and there are more pluses.
I recommend this hotel for a smooth and stable holiday.
Many locals, but also foreigners compared to 2020 somewhere around %60.
Have a good rest everyone.
08/11/2021 checked into the hotel in the evening. Settled of course overlooking the bushes and the wall. Initially, they offered money, they said the best rooms and the hotel is full, better not. But God bless him, we decided not to spoil the rest, we can’t sit there all day, the main thing is the atmosphere. The number of rooms is of course old, the rooms are small. When we got to the room, it was hard to imagine how a fourth bed could fit in here. But they shoved it on the third day, after talking with the guide, they slept by pushing two beds together for the first two nights. The room looked like a room-bed with narrow passages around the perimeter.
There are no questions about bartenders and housekeeping, because. and throughout their network try to be friendly. But in the evening, the fact of the host's rudeness at the animation struck me. There are a lot of locals in this hotel, and in the evenings they tend to occupy the front rows. We have a 3-year-old child, he approached the stage, the husband, respectively, was nearby, the host began to tell him to move away and not block people's view, then he climbed between the Slavic girl filming the performance on the phone and the stage and said: "Well, what's nice? ". My husband stood up for the girl and himself, saying that we, too, were people and paid no less than the comrades sitting in the forefront, there was a verbal skirmish.
It is outrageous that the locals are in priority, and we, Belarusians, Russians, Ukrainians are second-class, we are settled with a "view of the wall" or remote corners of the hotel, and locals are in the best rooms. Previously, I did not notice this in Albatros, which is why I preferred their network.
The next question arose on nutrition. We were more afraid of food poisoning in Alibaba, because there were relevant reviews, but not in Albatros. Our men, sorry for the expression, vomited there a total of 6 times, I got off with just multiple trips to the bathroom, the children passed, because. they sat on pasta, french fries and pizza for almost the entire rest, in the last couple of days before departure, my daughter found a small caterpillar.
Another point, the guide warned us that when checking out, you need to ask for lunch boxes on the road in advance. Which is what was done. Of course drove from one to another and back. In the end they said ok. Fine! On the day of check-out we are told that you did not ask!! ! By the way, we have three children, one of whom is three years old. We did not take anything in the restaurant, because there were never any problems with this in Albatros.
Of the pools: the children's pool turned out to be the coldest for some reason. There was a strong wind and all our children got sick.
In short: this year's vacation was the most expensive in terms of cost in Egypt, but the most unfortunate. We decided next year not to overpay for a name, but for this money to enjoy a hotel of a higher category in Egypt. And God forbid, they will open the borders and the prices will stop shocking us - just not Egypt and Turkey! They are not worth the money!
From what's stressful. The representative of Anex Tour Imat "stole" 2.5 hours while behaving rudely. I had to go towards because it seems that the tour operator in Egypt registers certificates of the absence of Covid. The tours he offers are clearly overpriced. But the review began to write due to the fact that today they tried to breed us for $ 20. Went for lunch, towels were left on the beach (a bag hung, water bottles lay on the towels). Things came in place, there were no towels. The Germans helped. They suggested that the towels were taken by those who issue them. I took a closer look - indeed, one of those who gives out a towel walks along the shore and actually steals towels from vacationers. I can understand those abandoned after 18.00 or at 6.00 occupied it is impossible to reserve. Approached them and said it's not us, it's the reception. The reception was delighted and said let's get $20. I had to make a fuss.
Now in order:
1.
Upon arrival at 7:40 local time, approaching the reception, asking for a room in the main building overlooking the sea, uncle with glasses, making it clear that it will cost pennies, paying 20? , saying in half an hour you will come - the number you want will be ready and in the meantime go to breakfast. After breakfast on our arrival, he was very sorry that the rooms with sea views are unfortunately not available. . Wait another hour - will be released in the Bungalow.
An hour later, I heard the same scenario of having to wait another half hour.
Half an hour later, all the staff changed to the reception (change) and another uncle hinted that the room must be paid ....and come at 13:00. . after our stormy statements - there was a number that is not in the main building, but in the Bungalow.
Gathering our nerves and rage, we pulled our things into the room.
The room was just opposite the children's water park, the room is well renovated, the balcony overlooked the sea ...which I wanted from the beginning)))
The rooms were cleaned every day ...although you can't call it cleaning ...not very much on the territory.
2. Large, clean, well-groomed area, many pools, flower alley, good location for photos! )
Children's water park, children under 6-7 years will be interesting))
There are two slides as if for adults, although there were adults and children)
3.
Food.
We used three restaurants (the main one is on the second floor and two on the first floor)
The dishes were a little different.
They cook deliciously, there was always meat - chicken, turkey, and grilled dishes;
Fish - fried, battered, baked in the evening.
Vegetables - tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, broccoli, peppers;
Fruits - oranges, apples, grapes, melons, watermelons, and twice gave mangoes.
Sweets - the biggest choice in the evening: 2-3 large cakes, pastries.
Drinks - Pepsi, Mirinda, 7up, and waterless apple, pineapple and orange juices.
Stella red and white wine and beer were poured for lunch and dinner.
4.
Bari.
All bars are diluted with alcohol, except the lobby and the one on the beach on the right. Drinks are the same as in restaurants + whiskey, tequila, gin, vodka.
There is a nice coffee bar where delicious hot drinks are prepared.
5.
Animation.
The same program was observed all 10 evenings, even the children were no longer interested in repeating their movements to the same melodies, in the morning of aqua aerobics.
6.
Personnel
In restaurants, bars and just on the street friendly staff - constantly greet, smile and offer their services ...staff at the reception is a separate conversation ....((((((
+ Guide.
It's just no words.
Annex Tour - Imat (young bald pumps small))). He said for an hour and a half that: "This is Hurghada, this is not Ukraine and Russia and not Belarus, here are your rules and you should obey only me!
Do not take a taxi to go to the city, I only take excursions and not from people on the beach. . . all here under the cameras and I see your every move ...otherwise I will seat your families on departure home in different buses, in different airports and planes "....
7.
Beach.
The beach has a decent area, a good sunset, the whole central line of the beach was occupied by people in the evening with towels given to them by the hotel ....but on the side of the spit on the left and right was always free.
Since tourists are mostly from Ukraine and Belarus - it was obvious at once - to reserve seats ...in my opinion it's wrong ...I come to the beach at 5 am ...there are no people and the sunbeds are still Europeans...
let's take a look at the same Germans, Armenians, Poles who also rested there ...and they were very surprised by this behavior and the busyness of the beach with towels.
8.
And finally Moore! ! ! !!
This is a fairy tale! Only for the sake of the sea you can turn a blind eye to some disadvantages and forget about everything.
You can not be surprised by those sunbeds, but just throw your things at sunset in the sea and enjoy the rest.
Overall impressions of the hotel are good! ! ! !!
If you rate it on a 10 scale, I would rate it 9! ! ! ! ! )))
And I will not mind going back there again))
