The territory is beautiful, it is convenient to sunbathe right at the pool bar, the sun is there until 16h. The sea behind the breakwater is comfortable for December, the reef is not very lively, but there are enough fish, there was even a big lionfish. The winds were not very strong, the temperature was 22-24 degrees during the day (except for a shower with hail on January 1 and a flood in Hurghada, but swimming in the rain in the sea in Egypt and a rainbow... that's something).
Well, then there were delays at the airport, the scoreboard and luggage conveyors did not work. There is no animation, which is not even bad as it turned out. Hall for disco opened current 30 and NG. NG show program with dancing for about an hour, gala dinner (with seafood and huge cakes), disco until the morning. In general, for the money the hotel made a good impression, probably in the season it was even better if there was no invasion of the Arabs. But the weight is equal to NG better at home under Olivier.
One plus is the sea. To the beach a minute, the beach is rocky sandy. The sea is clean and warm. No animation. Near the paid bar, drunken tourists turn on their songs and dance. Dinner until 21 pm. We went to the Sheraton center on local minibuses, the ticket was 2 pounds. Our flight was delayed for 16 hours, instead of 09.10 min 18.11, flight 19.11 at one in the morning. At 12.00 we were cut off the bracelets and asked to leave the room, we were taken from the hotel at 21.45. When asked to extend the room, they said that everything was already taken, although the key was on the glass at the reception until 18.00.
At any request for water, coffee, we were told the finish, everything is the finish for you, we were delayed through no fault of our own, and would it really be that if we drank a couple of glasses of water or coffee, would we damage the hotel? Where hospitality, solidarity and respect are just for people, we were 2 people who had their flight delayed for the entire hotel. From the reception side, they saw only smirks and humiliation, I DO NOT recommend this hotel. Better to pay up and go to normal.
Dirty, the canteen is dirty, filthy, the general state of decline and degradation, this is all that was felt while relaxing there, a full hotel of Egyptians and local harassment of women, these are just cherries on the cake. Breakfast as such is just a name, lunch and dinner more or less.
And the sea and the beach... It's something in general... It's just the worst hotel we've ever been in during our travels.
Hotel. Located in the old part of the city. Away and in silence from the "movements" of youth. The food is monotonous. Soups did not take. The choice of salads and second courses is the same. Potato, rice, vermicelli. Meat was given once a day and one serving, the cook himself was on the issue. From fruits only tangerines. I didn’t go swimming, the constant wind from the sea, cool, +20 degrees, +10-12 degrees at night, but the excursions are not hot. Cairo, Luxor. The staff is responsive. Guests are welcome (this is their income). Cleaning the room on the principle of dusting off the table and making the bed. For a daily tip of $ 1, they began to twist swans, hearts and more out of a towel.
Do not even rely on Wi-Fi, even near the reception you will hardly catch it. I bought a local Etisalat operator card through a guide. Paid 7$. I needed the Internet for Google maps and orientation around the city and country, Viber to communicate with home and children - that's all. A week without Facebook and other rubbish!
The beach is small, narrow, extended due to the breakwater, 100 meters from the shore there is a coral reef. The neighbor swam, even saw a stingray, except for colored children and sea urchins. I can’t imagine what kind of hustle and bustle during the swimming season on the beach, the entrance to the sea is inconvenient, it’s better to wear special slippers, I couldn’t walk on the pebbles at all, my legs were weaned, and it hurts, and the sunset along the coast with sand, a width of 50 meters. We went swimming on a yacht and dived on corals! Good luck to all!
- low cost;
- own beach with corals;
- good feedback.
The kitchen is not the highest class, but everything is fresh, quite diverse. The staff is smiling, sociable, with humor, and even more or less understands the boundaries. Quite satisfied with the service.
The sea is excellent. The real coral reef is always available!
The furniture in the room is new. The rooms are excellent (we lived on the first floor).
Cons: very small cups and weird plastic cups for drinks.
I would like to note that with us, the hotel was renovated in some rooms, and also built not a large water park, so I think next year, there will be a water park and renovated rooms.
The hotel's beach is shared with the neighboring one. The beds are comfortable but worn. The beach has its own pier, from which there is a stepped descent into the sea, as well as a solid metal staircase. For corals, you need to swim to the right, for the neighboring pier.
Maybe because there were few vacationers, everything was very pleasant. Most are Arabs, but all behaved very decorously and nobly. Perhaps also because the children were already in schools.
All rooms have a side sea view. The staff at the reception speaks Russian, in the restaurant - a couple of waiters speak excellent English. The staff on the beach and in the bars can also communicate in English-Russian. Safe - at the reception, for 10LE=$0.6 per day. Excellent pools, though they did not bathe (after all, the sea is nearby). I did not hear the smell of bleach, which they complain about here.
The kitchen is solid, but without frills and without free alcohol (water, tea - for free). With a small number of guests - they cook individually, without a choice.
The hotel was better than expected and totally worth the price.
