The kitchen is not bad, there is something to eat, but monotonous dishes
Safe - not working
When you move out, they swindle you for money!!!!
My girlfriend was forced to pay 3 bucks for a dirty pillowcase, and I was made to pay for an allegedly missing cup
It's humiliating! I would never recommend anyone to go to this hotel!! !
The food here is pretty good. Meat, fish, several types of side dishes, soups, scrambled eggs in the morning, and grilled chicken in the evening. Oh, and I also want to note the sweet table! For those with a sweet tooth like me, this is a very pleasant thing. You can also grab a bite to eat at the pool and beach bars. In short, you won't be left hungry here. And for lovers of a variety of food, I advise you to visit fish restaurants (there is at the Sheraton) where you can eat deliciously and inexpensively. What pleases us about this hotel is its location, it is right on the Sheraton, and there are already all kinds of entertainment and shopping.
The beach is small, and in order for us to have enough sunbeds, we had to come to borrow early. I really liked that there is both a sandy entry and an entry from the pontoon. You can safely swim closer to the shore and even see the fish. By the way, a couple of minutes to the beach, the first line is cool. The territory is sooooo compact, but quite green and beautiful, it is clear that the workers are trying and taking care of it. The staff is generally great fellows, polite and friendly, there are no complaints about them.
We constantly had some problems with Wi-Fi, so we decided not to suffer and bought a SIM card in a store across the street from the hotel, there are several such points in the vicinity of the hotel, different mobs. Operators. We took vodafone, the viber remained at the same number, the guys in the salon set everything up, but we need a passport, the voucher does not fit. We also went on excursions, this time fishing, we had a great time, sincere company, it was fun, respect to the guys on the yacht, the price is pleasant and the service is excellent. Ordered through instagram samitourcom.
In general, summing up, I want to say that we liked our stay in this hotel, there were no unpleasant incidents that could spoil our mood. Of course there are cons, but they are not significant. The hotel, if you consider in this price category, is quite decent.
The room is small, the repair is old, but the cleanliness was just perfect both when checking into the room and throughout the stay (cleaning was carried out daily, as well as the replacement of all towels). Hot water - without interruption, faced this problem in other hotels and for me it is very important.
I read a lot of negative reviews about nutrition, it seems strange to me. Food is like everywhere else: soups, beef, chicken, fish, rice, pasta, potatoes, vegetables, and with their delicious baba ganoush and tahini, you can generally live on a salad with flatbread. Of the fruits were melons, oranges, bananas, dates. Grill in the evening: kofte, chicken, liver. Breakfast, as always, is meager: scrambled eggs, vegetables, sweet buns. As I understand it, due to the pandemic and the crisis, the food in all hotels has deteriorated a little, but we have never been hungry and, more importantly, we have not been poisoned. The only thing that confused - clearly diluted milk at breakfast. Well, sweets... so-so. From alcohol they drank only beer and wine on the beach, they remained quite alive and well. )
The main asset of this hotel is its staff. This is my 6th stay in hotels in Egypt, but the first in Hurghada. In Minamarca, without any exaggeration, the most polite, friendly and helpful staff that I have met. Not everyone speaks Russian well, but many and all speak English well. Everyone smiles all the time. Even the sellers of all kinds of services on the beach, of which there are many, do their job very unobtrusively and accept your refusal with a smile, happily continuing the dialogue on other topics. Drinks at the beach bar are initially poured into small glasses, but if you ask, you will be poured into the glass you want and as much as you want without any problems.
The beach is small, of course. There may not be enough sunbeds when fully loaded, but we were in a half-empty hotel, so there were plenty of sunbeds at all times of the day. The bottom is sandy, some dead corals or stones, always swam without water shoes. My husband loves to jump into the water, so he especially appreciated the presence of pantone (it was not in two hotels in the neighborhood).
One of the pools is heated, but we only swam in the sea.
There is animation: water aerobics in the sea, belly dance, something else. In the evening there was always some kind of program, but we spent the evening by the sea or walked around the city. My husband enjoyed playing table tennis.
Of all the services offered on the beach, we bought only a massage (the hotel has a spa where the procedure takes place). My husband and I took 3 sessions each, if you take a course, they will make a discount. I liked the massage very much.
I understand very well the difference between budget and expensive hotels. was a different experience. But lately we prefer small budget hotels, and with the money saved we travel around the country on our own (twice we went to Cairo from Sharm, this time we spent 5 days of vacation in Luxor and Aswan). If you also understand this difference and know exactly what you expect from a hotel, I strongly recommend this place to you.
The territory itself is well-groomed, palm trees, shrubs, flowers, everything is watered, cleaned, everything is harmonious and pleasing to the eye.
The food was a bit disappointing, expected more. The selection is limited, but overall it tastes ok. Liked the meat, soft and cooked well. We ate outside the hotel several times, there are many cafes and restaurants in the vicinity, I liked the fish one. Also close (from the hotel to the right) McDonald's, who cares.
There is a swimming pool in the hotel, but this topic is not very interesting for us, there are slides for children. The beach is small, there are a lot of sunbeds, there is a pier, I liked swimming from it more than from the shore, but it would not hurt to clean it, a lot of sharp stones, well, or corals are needed. There is little marine life, if you do not go out to the open sea, you can be content with this.
As for the number itself. We got into it only on the third attempt, at first there was no balcony, then promising a small reward, we looked at a couple more and found a suitable option). Cleaning was, the guy brought water, towels changed. The air conditioner is old, there was no desire to turn it on, it is not known when it was cleaned, but everything worked properly. I won’t say anything bad about the staff, there were no conflicts with anyone, normal guys, they met halfway.
In conclusion, I will say this, price-quality is a stretch, we will not repeat, this is one time. I will refrain from recommendations.
We arrived at 5 am, settled 9.5 hours in a half-empty hotel according to current standards! They have a well-established way of pumping money. They check into room 271 or next to it, without a balcony overlooking the wall - don't like it? Then pay.
The contingent is 95% Arabs, they are settled instantly and in buildings near the sea, naturally without extortion.
While we languished in the hall, where they save on air conditioning, we were not even allowed to get water. You are not allowed to have breakfast, because Check-in is only at 14:00.
At dinners, Arabs are served without a queue, and if you are indignant, then they will serve those who are standing behind, and then leave altogether! Water is allocated 0.5 liters per day, you can’t draw it from the cooler! Meat is eaten every day, but the food does not change, what you eat on the first day, you will eat on the last! There is no fruit, a slice of melon in a sealed plate along with dry rolls and not every day.
On the beach, the bar looks empty, everything is hidden, what time it works is not known, there is no schedule. Once we managed to get ice cream, it's milk ice on a stick. More than 12 days of stay, we were not given it. At 12-30 he's still not there, and at 15 he's gone. I waited for when it starts to give out, I go up, and the bartender says that he won’t, it’s only for children.
The beach is sandy, but the entrance to the water is covered with stones, the beach is small, there are not enough sunbeds, no mattresses, towels are not issued on the beach. Everything is dilapidated and dirty, in my presence an umbrella (wooden) collapsed on a child, he was quickly taken away with injuries, his further fate is not known.
Internet in the lobby, only for SMS, even the photo does not load, there is nothing to say about the video. After 9 pm, an employee comes and turns off the air conditioner, even if people are sitting there and this is at 32 degrees at night!
Of course, the eviction could not pass without excesses, our tour operator "Naturland" praising the hotel, focused on what a convenient arrival at 5 in the morning and departure at 19, you have paid all day and you can use everything only take things to the hall by 12. We decided to leave at 10, they immediately demanded bracelets from us. They didn’t want to give it away, firstly, it’s still early, they won’t give us water on the beach and we still have lunch. To this, they said that then they would not be evicted and a fine, and we can go to dinner without a bracelet, no problem. They came for lunch, took plates, sat down, the senior manager comes running and kicks us out from the table, they don’t feed us without a bracelet!
Summing up: I have not seen a single satisfied of "our" vacationers. Everyone gets stress and hassle at the entrance, everyone tries to move out to neighboring hotels. I saw those who managed to move to "Le Pasha" for $ 50 and those who did not succeed, they quarreled at the reception until 8 pm. The condition of the hotel does not even correspond to 3 *, it is 2 * with all the consequences. And you are guaranteed to face extortion, fraud, humiliation and aggression. This holiday you will never forget!
But the saddest thing is the terrible savings on food. Portions are given out by the chefs through the window, for example, vegetables, two slices of tomato and four slices of cucumber (if you don’t need to beg a lot), salad from a set of vegetables is the same for breakfast, dinner and lunch for 13 days (portion consists of two tablespoons). Likewise, everything else must be asked so as not to be hungry. Near the beach at the bar, the bartender serves first of all his fellow citizens, you will be noticed after a noisy remark. Ice cream only for children and adult Egyptians without restrictions. We're not supposed to.
The worst thing is theft on the beach. Local one day guests constantly tried to steal the beach towel. You can't leave the beds! Large cockroaches live in the room on the first floor! And yes, on the last night of our stay in our room at 04.45 someone came in by opening the door with his key. I woke up and he ran away. At the reception, they wrote down our number and promised to watch the video from the surveillance camera. But when we approached to find out the result, we were told that there was no specialist in video recordings. Nobody apologized to us.
Disrespectful, just boorish attitude towards tourists from Ukraine. The only plus is the sea, which is in every hotel. I do not recommend this hotel for a holiday!
The territory is as cozy and well-groomed as before, water slides were added, which is a plus, although it was not clear where they could be inserted, given that the territory is already tiny)) (jokingly we call it Mini-mark).
The beach is clean, the water is like a tear, when the wind blew, it felt like the water seemed warmer than the air. Although the beach is compact, there were enough sunbeds for everyone. people were relaxing by the pool. Entry into the sea from the shore and from the pier. The pier is not big, comfortable, there are beautiful fish, if you have masks, take them, they will come in handy.
The food has not changed much, there is a choice, delicious. This time we visited Italian a la carte by appointment, for a change it’s very good. In the beach bar drinks, sandwiches, ice cream for children. In the pool bar during the day pancakes and tea break in the afternoon.
Since the hotel is on the Sheraton, there is where to walk, we walked through the shops we liked at that time, went every other day in the evenings to the embankment, at a very leisurely pace of 15 minutes, to the right of the hotel and on the sign again to the right. And in general, this trip was kind of spiritual or something, familiar places, people, that's somehow pleasant to the soul. And again I want to go to Hurghada)). We had a great rest, it’s a pity that it’s just not enough, 6 days in total, but there is a desire to return again and possibly again to the Mini-mark)), there is still a good price-quality ratio. Yes, and there will be no problems with the normal Internet, there is a Vodafone company store and exchange offices across the road.
