The hotel is cool, very comfortable with children. There is children's animation, discos too. Senzo They say they are within walking distance, walking with children, close.
The only 3 disadvantages for us, but not very significant - 1. No Ukr. Channels on TV, surprised the Russians. TNT. 2. Very intrusive sellers of services - fresh fruit, massage, fish restaurant, strawberries, pigtails, spa, etc. , do not give quietly not to eat or lie down. 3. No free internet.
But the hotel, as for a 4 * bomb, would be happy to return to this hotel. And yes, this is not the first time we are abroad, there is something to compare!
Room for 4 people is quite spacious, bathroom - nothing to complain about, everything works № 2164 - a bungalow, which is very conveniently located to the sea, restaurant) Food - for the whole holiday no complaints, everything is fresh and delicious. I confirm that once a week they serve seafood (salmon steak, shrimp, crabs - take as much as you can consume), very friendly staff.
The sea and the beach - out of competition (there are 3 beaches of Ali Baba, Aladdin and Jasmine), there are reefs, both near the pontoons and further in the sea for those who swim confidently. Don't forget the swimming mask - it's a must have!
And the contingent of vacationers is also important. Before the trip he had warnings about the "control package" of tourists from Russia, but the hotel mixes from Europe - Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine, Belarus. Yes, the Russians are, but they did not create the situation "Tagil rolls", in the evening everything was quiet - without concerts, drunkenness and performances. The Alibaba Shipyard Hotel has a great water park for both adults and a separate area for children. By the way, there was no kettle in the room (read about it in the reviews) and so we took ours with us, although it may be available at the reception, but be prepared for that.
If you visit the neighboring hotel Ali Baba, you should consider whether it is worth overpaying for a hotel that always has a higher price, smaller rooms and a little more "pomp", and the beach is worse (stones, necessary corals). We are definitely satisfied with our choice. At first we really wanted to relax again in Sunny Days el Palacio, but we must admit that the hotel for the last 2 years has given up its position very much, despite the incredible sea, lagoon and living reef and convenient location. So, we definitely recommend Aladdin Hotel for a family vacation.
The territory is not small, there is where to walk, there are many shops both on the beach and near the reception (it’s not worth going to a shop tour from a tour operator, everything can be bought on site at the same price, or even cheaper).
The downside is the lack of free wi-fi, here it is $6 per day, so you should buy a SIM card at the airport or at the vodafone counter near the reception.
There are 3 beaches that you can use, for every taste: with stones and with sand.
The best sandy beach for families with children is to the left of the fish restaurant. Sunbeds and mattresses are free, it’s real to take a place. The sea is warm, clean, not deep right away, there are low tides at lunchtime, then it’s generally super for the kids. The beach is monitored, the sand is periodically removed, there are lifeguards who constantly monitor children and adults. Towels are provided and can be replaced with fresh ones every day. There is a snack bar on the beach, they serve different dishes and often 2 options a day: french fries, pizza, shawarma, who-dog, burger, kebab; there is a separate table with vegetables, fruits, desserts, a bar with drinks and a coffee machine (better take coffee here, because the coffee in the main restaurant is terrible).
Regarding the pool, we did not swim there, because we came to the sea, and not to sit in the pool. However, the pools are clean, there are both for children and adults. The pools have bars, they also give ice cream at certain times.
You can visit the water park on the territory of the neighboring Ali Baba Hotel for free, within a 5-minute walk from the reception.
As for food, I’ll say right away that we weren’t hungry, the food is good, you can also take a place, the hotel was busy in the first days, then there were almost no problems with tables. Breakfasts are usually standard: tables with vegetables, fruits, cheeses, pastries, milk with breakfast cereals, yogurt, various types of fried eggs, pancakes, donuts, side dishes. For lunch and dinner, 2 types of first courses are always served, vegetables and salads, side dishes (rice, pasta, potatoes, couscous, beans, vegetable stews, etc. ), meat and fish. During the day, they always gave 2 types of meat (for example, chicken and veal liver, chicken and log kebab, beef goulash and cutlets, turkey), fish fillet in batter almost daily, pastries, desserts, fruits (melon, apples, oranges, pamelo , pomegranate, dates).
Always organized a street grill with meat for dinner.
There are 2 hot open servings, usually they bake hot pizza or khachapuri, eggs and omelettes, seafood or cook warm pasta with sauces. Twice they gave crabs and squids, once big fried shrimp, tuna. With free drinks tea, coffee, juices (but chemical), circles, fanta, sprites, soda, whiskey, brandy, vodka, gin, wine. Alcohol, as everywhere in Egyptian hotels, is not of very good quality. We rested 6 years ago in Turkey in a good, expensive hotel and we were fed worse than here.
Clean every day if you leave a sign. They provide water to the room every day.
We did not go with high expectations, but we really liked the rest, if they had given the best room, it would have been 9, and so 7 without hesitation.
There are people who initially already set themselves up for everything bad and criticism, then they spoil the rest themselves. You should understand the specifics of the region, value for money.
If you want chic / shine, then of course, then the budget will be 80 thousand UAH for two, so everything here corresponds to the price. I don’t know how a hotel on the sea can “impress” according to some reviews, this is not a tourist location, not an architectural monument, it’s just a place of infrastructure on the sea, so everything you need is there.
The hotel is full of people, it is clear that the borders have been opened) They even refused to accommodate us for extra. fee, I had to wait... But otherwise there were no problems with the settlement.
We got a room not far from the sea. The room is clean and comfortable, the furniture is not new, but it didn’t matter to us, because we only spent the night in the room.
The hotel area is large and well-groomed, a nice bonus is that you can walk around the neighboring (hotels from the same chain). But, unfortunately, we did not have time to get around it all, because we disappeared either on the beach or on excursions.
We never swam in the pools, after all, we still came to the sea. But we visited the water park, my daughter initially asked him to be present when choosing a hotel. The water park, by the way, is free, on the territory of Ali Baba. As for the sea, there are beaches with sandy and stone entrances. The sand on Jasmine Beach is just wonderful, we were mostly there. This beach is just the most popular, so if you want to take a place closer to the sea, come early. And near the pier you can admire all kinds of living creatures, and corals.
As for food, there are no complaints here, with the exception of a small selection of fruits. You definitely won't leave hungry. There were several types of meat to choose from, fried fish, omelettes and scrambled eggs, vegetables, salads, cheeses, sausages and sausages, breakfast cereals and milk. As well as pastries and biscuit desserts. Oh, and a selection of drinks. For dinner, they cook something on the grill. Once even lucky enough to get on the shrimp.
Most of the staff are friendly and accommodating. The pools are clean, the territory is well-groomed and green, it is clear that the staff is trying. The janitor was tipped either by a dollar or a chocolate bar. They really like our sweets) The animators are very active and positive, but we didn’t really interact with them.
But of the minuses, I still note the lack of free Wi-Fi. Of course, you can pay for it at the hotel, but I would advise you to buy a Senzomole sim card, which is just within walking distance from the hotel, because. according to numerous reviews, there are eternal problems with SIM cards bought at the airport, and hardly anyone will go there to find out.
Summary: an inexpensive hotel with a beautiful area, a water park and three beaches to choose from, decent food, good staff. Worth considering for a holiday, especially with children. We liked the rest in Egypt, the climate approached, we will definitely repeat!
The price approached, in the photo and according to reviews the hotel seemed quite nice
We went with a child, 2.10 years old, the site says that there is a zoo and you can go to the water park of the Ali Baba hotel.
In general, the three hotels Aladdin, Ali Baba and Jasmine are hotels of the same owner, so you can walk freely around the territory, just eat at home.
We arrived on a night flight and were at the hotel at 7 am.
Our bags were unloaded near the entrance, and we were taken to the reception to draw up documents.
Put on the bracelets right away.
The number, they said, would be given later at 10 o'clock.
We approached at 10, sent to wait until 12, and at 12 they said to come at 14.
All the while referring to the overload of the hotel.
We took it easy, although the child was tired from the road and had to sleep on the terrace.
As a result, at 16 o'clock we were given a room.
There was a silent scene after the screening.
The bungalow, as the cleaner later told us, that this was the Jasmine Hotel, which is now not functioning, was windowless, dirty, on beds that were not even beds, but just mattresses on concrete elevations, huge ants walked on foot...
We returned to the reception and remembered the luggage, because we were supposed to be taken to the room with him, and we were looking for the room ourselves and found that from 7 am to 5 pm, no one brought it from the entrance to the hotel at least for reception
They took our suitcase and go to change the room.
To which the answer is that there are no places, they say live there.
When asked that this is not what they hang on advertising photos, the answer is that it is a photo, but this is a hotel.
With all this, the whole day of check-in and the following days, we observed crowds of Arabs who were given in batches the keys to normal rooms, red and white bungalows, which is in the photo of the hotel.
The receptionist was rude, pretended not to listen to us, that he suddenly became deaf and the cherry on the cake - threw the keys to the room in his face and said that we either lived there or on the street.
We did not leave, they said that we would spend the night, not directly at the reception.
We were overpowered at 20 o'clock only after talking with the hotel manager.
We took our suitcase from the street ourselves.
The room was given out better, but also quite sad and very dirty, I had to wipe the dust with napkins myself, I attach a photo, the furniture is all shabby, the curtains were beaten by moths and everywhere there is a layer of dust in my finger.
Later we found out that such a bagpipe with a settlement for the duration of our stay concerned all non-Arab tourists.
The hotel itself is very large, a long walk to the beach, a long walk to eat.
It can be seen that the territory is not enough and hands and means - the grass is yellow, because. it is rarely watered, there is little greenery, many destroyed or unfinished buildings.
Aladdin's beach with a rocky bottom, went to the vaunted Jasmine.
Sun loungers, umbrellas are good, you need to take a place early, because. Ali Baba and Aladdin go to the beach there, Jasmine, however, is closed.
The entrance to the sea is sand, but very shallow, the water is literally up to the middle of the ankle, and knee-deep, if the tide is already very long, 50 meters, then chest-deep and there are already buoys.
Fish and corals were near the buoys.
The food is pretty tasty.
Grill every day.
A day later, squid.
All without specific spices.
The kids enjoyed it and so did we.
But, the tables are dirty, the dishes are not washed, the highchairs are sticky, the dirt has already eaten into them, everything is covered in crumbs.
But the staff washes the floor, doors and signs at the entrance to the restaurant and all with one rag.
The day before check-out was marked by poop, which was stretched in a strip along the corridor near the rooms and flies had already flocked to them.
On the day of departure, our transfer was at 20-30, at 12 they cut off our bracelets and issued a coupon for lunch, first for 2, and then they added a child, to my question about dinner, at least for a child, the receptionist turned around and went to the other end of the rack.
I didn’t want to talk and find out anything more with them, the impression was already complicated.
+ Water park on the hotel Ali Baba.
It is good that there is a divided water park for children under 10 and for adults, as well as well-watched instructors in the water park for everyone.
+ Good Egyptian food, there is a children's menu.
+ Ice cream for lunch.
+ Normal beer.
+ Cleaned daily.
- We stayed in an old room in the hotel and there are the best, asked to overpower but there were locals.
- Old bedding and towels in the room.
- The hotel area is a bit neglected.
- Animation is weak.
- You need to stand for ice cream for half an hour.
- standard Egyptian alcohol.
- Paid Wi-Fi.
Pools - clean, different depths. One for "bikini" (Slavs), others for closed swimsuits (local), but if you were burned in the bikini pool and wanted to swim in a T-shirt, they were not allowed.
There are 2 beaches, one hotel has a pier and a rocky entry into the water, and literally after 10 meters the beach of the jasmine hotel with excellent sand entry into the water. Sun loungers are serviceable, there are a lot of umbrellas, there was enough space
Meals: quite varied, cooked deliciously, only breakfasts are boring. Good for the confectionery, not just a bunch of different biscuits, but interesting cookies, many types of baklava. Of the fruits were melons and oranges all the time and watermelons every other day.
The water park is good, great for kids.
The room is small, we were 2 + 1, they offered to deliver another bed, but then there would be almost no passage in the room, so we slept on two lorries. Safe and plumbing in the room working. The room was poorly cleaned when we checked in and the cleaner didn't clean it up. and for a chocolate bar, and for a dollar, and for two, he didn’t remove the word at all, made the beds, changed the water and that’s all. The room itself is tired, but the furniture is relatively new, there is a flat TV. but the channels are almost all Arabic. My daughter watched Masha and the Bear in Arabic and translated from memory to her friend).
There was a DR during this period in the hotel, they sat down at a decorated table, danced with tambourines and handed a cake to my daughter, instead of me, then to me, and immediately handed my friend a daddy with the words "leave it for tea", it was not very pleasant, they brought would be more imperceptible to my husband. We didn’t have money with us, we never took it for dinner, a friend only had 3 dollars of them and put them in. As they saw. flew up and began to collect everything from the table, although we had not finished eating yet. It was very unpleasant, it would be better not to congratulate at all.
And, of course, departure. We left for the airport very early, before breakfast. The guide said to sign up for dry rations. this is the first time, they usually prepared it themselves, well, ok, they came and signed up, 2 numbers 5 people. And how to leave, it turned out that there was no breakfast, there was not enough for 4 rooms, with grief in half we collected 2 dry rations for children, I don’t understand why I had to sign up at all, and without dry rations it was also not very comfortable, I had to wait for departure. to take food to the boat.
Minidisco is the worst. what I met, exactly 5 songs and 15 minutes, always the same, my daughter already asked me on the second day why it is so strange here.
In total, the main problem is the staff, and this is cleaning and accommodation, taking into account that the room is 2 + 1, and not just stuff it, and congratulations on the DR, and mini disco, and dry rations. This is my third time in Egypt and I have been in cheaper hotels, but I have not seen this.
In Turkey, only 8 km traveled from the airport. The hotel has many available activities and the All inclusive system. Pleased with unlimited access to the water park. The hotel itself is very large. Pets are not allowed here, our Ryzhik was left in Russia for his grandmother to watch.
Our room was great! All amenities, even: mini-bar, terrace and more. The visual and cultural design of the hotel was reminiscent of an Arabian fairy tale: palm trees, sculptures, architecture, lights and monkeys. The sea was calm and serene.
Clean, satisfying, beautiful, swam as much as you like... Thanks to the staff for being polite to the client.
We booked a trip to Luxor.
We rested at 10+++.
