Cleaning is normal, the cleaning lady, a nice woman, even adjusted to us. Thanks her.
In general, all the employees of the hotel try very hard, especially those who have been working there for years, but the reception is constantly changing. (
Previously, the hotel was famous for its restaurant, there were wonderful Turkish nights, with take-out of ice cream cake, etc. Now this is not the case, the restaurant has turned into a canteen with very simple, monotonous food. They began to save a lot, apparently to pay for the partial repair of the main building. ) But there are more fruits. No cakes, jelly, very rarely delicious cakes. All from the "you won't go hungry" series. Coffee disgusting has become from vending machines. Do not drink any cocktails, only pure drinks - raki, vodka, beer. The Germans drink it. I read in one review about poisoning in the hotel, I didn’t see it, but the fact that there was a commission at the hotel is for sure, they took samples from the pool.
This time there were 90% Germans in the hotel, the rest were Russian-Turkish-British...
The citizens of Germany are mostly people 60-65+, all the animation is tailored for them and the girls of the animator try very hard to entertain them, entertainment appropriate for the age of the vacationers. With our tourists, they simply do not know what to do. In general, the entire staff speaks German exclusively. Twice a week imported artists, other days bingo, karaoke, guess the melody, German folk dance songs. During the day, the pool music is almost Europe +. ) Boredom...
In the elevator, there is a schedule of the animation program. There is a mini disco for kids. It used to be. But this year there were almost no children. I would never bring my children here. In the morning you go out to the pool, and there grandparents, who are already unable to walk to the beach, have mercy, hug, kiss right in the pool. And now this unfortunate child stands with a circle and thinks how he could get in there ...into this pelvis of love.
The rest of the old men drink beer from 10 in the morning, by lunchtime the degrees rise, in the evening everything flows like water . . they smoke everything and everywhere. There is a children's pool - ankle-deep.
You come to the beach, and there European women under fifty change their swimsuit at the sun lounger (completely the entire swimsuit), at least they cover themselves with a towel. You turn in the other direction, and there is an unconventional family - he and he ...it is impossible to confuse.
The beach is beautiful, there is everything you need, everything is clean and beautiful.
I'm not a hypocrite, but the hotel administration should somehow take care of the behavior of some tourists within the framework of international rules of decency. Hang an announcement that shorts need to be changed in special. designated places, the pool is not for lovemaking, but for swimming ... ) Or write directly on Booking - hotel16+, non-traditional families are accepted, we adhere to European rules of freedom of behavior.
And then the whole staff stands at attention around these Germans, they are afraid to say a word so that they don’t get a negative review and they endure everything that comes into their heads. The hotel must be managed, and not let everything take its course, if only there was a German tourist.
After this hotel we arrived at another one, there was a very mixed composition of vacationers from Jewish-Arabs to Russians-Germans-Czechs-Slovaks-French ....Everything is very worthy, it was not even close. And everyone was happy with each other.
For me, now the hotel is at the level of "German Tagil".
4 stars for old friendship. The level of the hotel is very high, do not overpay.
But if you speak English or German and want to relax comfortably, then you are here.
Great hotel with great staff.
The territory of the hotel, although small, is very green and pleasant, there is where to take a walk. There is greenery outside, but these are not forests, but “trees in the desert”, you can’t walk there in the heat. The beach is normal, although the exit of the rock from the shore is certainly dumb, you can wind up with waves, so it’s better to go to the side. Walking to the beach mostly in the sun, a little annoying, but not critical. From the gates of the hotel to the sea there is a square with exchange offices (the exchange rate is normal), shops (there are many things, it is better to change bucks / euros into lira and pay everywhere with them) and cafes. I rented an old bicycle at the hotel for 2 euros, rode to the mouth of the Manavgat River - there is not much to see. But the city of Side is very interesting - both with ruins and streets (bus No. 11 goes there, back No. 10, stops at the gates of all hotels, costs a couple of lira; it takes 10-15 minutes, from the bus station to the city another 10 minutes on foot).
Feeding is dense and quite varied, but if you look, then some kind of garbage. God forbid 1-2 normal meat dishes, sometimes more. Confectionery almost entirely from jelly and honey, phew. The wine is very mediocre, but the beer was pleasant. In general, it is quite possible to eat all sorts of things and not get poisoned, but the pleasure from this is no more than from the canteen at work. Where is the a la carte restaurant?
There were mostly Germans of different ages, which is good, there are also enough of ours (thank God, without drunken companies "tagil rules"), a few Italians. The staff is well-mannered, they mostly speak German, at the reception they usually understand English and Russian, but some don’t even speak English (a couple of times I couldn’t even get a cocktail at the bar, this is of course a shock).
They settled us at one in the morning, of course they didn’t leave any dinner. The windows turned out to be on the road and the neighboring hotel, they have a stage right next to the road, i. e. under our windows. The next evening there was a megadiscach until 12 at night; in the morning they asked to be moved, they normally gave a room on the top floor with windows to the playground (I gave the receptionist 20 lire for this as a thank you, they didn’t give anything to anyone else). But even there you can hear the noise of neighboring animations, sometimes until one in the morning. I don’t understand at all how to live in window-to-window hotels.
Who cares which rooms to settle in, compiled a complete list of them. The system is as follows: rooms 10XX - 1st floor, 20XX - 2nd, 1XX - 3rd, 2XX - 4th, 3XX - 5th; 6XX, 7XX and 8XX - respectively, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of the additional building. Windows on the road and the neighboring hotel: 1001-1005.2001-2007.101-119.201-219.301-313. Windows to the playground and additional building (quite quiet and green): 120-141 (at the same time, 128-141 go to the transformer, it makes noise), 227-248.322-334. Windows on the bar (animation may make noise in the evening): 220-226.314-321. Windows to the north (nothing wrong): 335-339.
In the room, everything is generally normal, except for the bath-shower, which is of course terrible, but tolerable. Of course, the widespread habit of the maids to make the bed every day and roll up the towels without changing them and the linen infuriated (it becomes unclear which towel they wiped themselves with, and which child, and which end to the feet lay the blanket).
The pool is not bad, there are no strength training equipment. The playground is very modest - although the main thing is that it is in the shade and by the pool. We met a monitor lizard and a bat on the territory, and a turtle behind the fence.
Separately, I would like to say about the Neva travel agency, through which we went there. Okay, that's just a disregard for tourists, constant, incl. indecent attempts to “suck in” something (including “technical stops” at the shops at the first hour of the night on the transfer). It’s also an outright, senseless lie: when you ask a guide where you can buy diapers here? – only in the hotel, nowhere else! Where to exchange money? - just me! But really, go outside the gates of the hotel - and everything is there and inexpensively. “You won’t get to the city, you need to make three transfers! ” - and there 10 minutes on an empty bus.
Food: super, everything was fish, and poultry, and beef, and liver, and everything in any form !! ! fruits: grapes, apricots, plums, melon, watermelon, oranges, stable daily !! ! for lovers of greens and vegetables: also everything is there, and stews and salads, and separately chopped vegetables !! ! for the sweet tooth: cakes, various cakes, jelly, etc.
Service: well done!! ! everyone is trying to speak Russian, many of them are very good at it!! ! one man at the reception was taught to say good night!! ! he asked us himself!! ! then every evening he told us good night!! ! nice!! ! many bartenders don't know Russian, but they understand what you need!! ! we just arrived at the hotel, they greeted us in Russian!! ! Russians are probably immediately visible!! ! it's better to pay for the safe right away, it costs 4 $!! ! they just have a very floating rate, that's the only reason!! ! if you want to play big tennis, then one hour costs $ 4. table tennis is free!! ! billiards is $ 4.
excursions: you can go to the bazaar on your own, for example, there is a bus 2 there, you need to go back at 10. you can go to see Antique Side, the bus goes there 11, back 10. (save about $ 60 for two, and if you don’t go to the amphitheater, then $ 80). The fare costs 2 lira per person one way !! ! Cheaper in lira !! ! Dollars, Euros for liras can be exchanged in the center, there are banks and changers at every step (yellow signs) !! ! the course is normal and there is no commission, and if you change at the hotel, then they have a bad course and a commission of 3%.
