We chose the resort of Unawatuna, where the apartments are of the same name. Just a couple of minutes to the beach (50 meters). The house itself is surrounded by greenery.
Of the pluses of the apartments - two separate rooms and it was possible to settle down with the convenience of a family. The kitchen is spacious. Wi-Fi, by the way, is free.
The most important plus is a Russian uncle who met us at the airport, drove us to the place and told us everything necessary for adaptation along the way. Where to go, where to buy, etc. In front of the apartments, the beach side is the best in the bay.
Where to go: The most iconic place is the temple on the mountain. From there you have a beautiful view of the surroundings, the ocean.
The weather in March was gentle, there were plenty of fruits. Smiling local who changed the sheets for us.
Had a great rest. Fell in love with this heavenly place.
We also walked through the tropical forest nearby. On the other side of the mountain is the beach where everyone wants to go. We didn't get there. Just walking in the forest and feeding wild monkeys)))
