We chose a hotel for a long time with my wife and found a very interesting villa in Unawatuna. Villa Kaetana Lanka was found from the beginning on booking, then after searching the Internet it turned out that the hostess was Russian and we booked with her directly. We do not speak English well, so it was important for us that the staff spoke Russian. In general, as I understand it, they have a travel company and 2 hotels. We are staying at a villa. We really liked the clean, comfortable, huge rooms, a delicious breakfast, the hostess Katya cooked pancakes, croutons, charlotte for us. She told a lot of interesting things about Sri Lanka, took us on excursions, without her our vacation would not have been so interesting.
The villa has good WiFi, hot water, a TV in the living room, a huge spacious kitchen and a refrigerator in the same place. We were taken to the beach in the morning for free, it took only 3 minutes to go by tuk tuk, very interesting transport, we even tried the tuk tuk ourselves, they took Katya with her boyfriend Suresh.
I recommend this villa, you won't regret it! ! A big thank you to Kate for our wonderful stay.
