1. Numbers. I do not advise you to take a view of the sea - the children's pool and the terraces of the restaurants do not predispose to a relaxing holiday. Sea view means the view of the Palma villas that you will see daily on the beach. I advise the skyline room - sea view, Burj Khalifa and Al Arab. Very nice.
2. Food. We took it for breakfast, additionally per day, taking into account lunch, champagne and so on. spent 1000 dirhams for two. The hotel has two excellent gourmet restaurants, Lao and Social, and wasting dinner to eat at the buffet restaurant is a sin. So if funds allow, refuse dinners - there is a wonderful steak nearby in Anantara - an Australian restaurant! The breakfast itself is very good, everything is there, juices, pastries, eggs, cereals, scrambled eggs - a solid five, there is nothing to reproach. Well, a huge selection of fruits.
3. Spa. There is a massage area, they do it very well, but as usual in a hotel, without knowing you, they do it to an average degree. Excellent sauna, hammam, arom, warm stone beds, there is even a vip sauna if you want to go with your wife. Above all praise.
4. Beach. Lagoon, but deep, a few shells, special shoes are not required, the sunset is beautiful, even deep, there are water sports - kayak, boats, fishing. Coming to the beach, towels are spread out for you, water is given free of charge in bags with ice, there are enough sunbeds for everyone. There is a children's pool - and there are a lot of people there, there is an adult - almost always empty. The sea is simple, without corals and fish, but the most it is to swim.
5. Restaurant on the beach. DO NOT believe those who write that this is an expensive fast food. Yes, you can spend 40 dinars on French fries, but no one bothers you to take shrimp or gazpacho, pasta and steak, wonderful salads and rolls. The restaurant is quite at the level of good Novikov restaurants in Moscow.
6. Prices for example. A bottle of beer - 50, a glass of Prosecco - 60, a cocktail - 80, champagne - 120, water-gas drinks - 25. Food - salads - 45-80, soups - 60-80, hot - 80-200. Massage - 350-500. Rent a boat for 3 hours - 2500. In a divine way for the Emirates.
7. Other. The hotel is family, a lot with children, not so many Russians - Germans, Poles, Kazakhs, French, Arabs.
8. Well, about the shortcomings. It's a trifle, but they are. The hotel was tired - the wallpaper was falling off, the paintings were hung unevenly, we were poisoned in the Social and didn’t go there again, one day nothing worked in the spa in the men’s area - I wasted my time. Wrong logistics in seating for breakfast at peak times creates huge queues. To visit restaurants, they must be booked in advance, otherwise they will not be imprisoned, although there are many free places. A bad hair dryer in the room, and when asked to replace it, they brought the same ugliness (they quit changing it later, they reconciled). Room cleaning takes place every other time - the cleaner is too lazy to clean and he hangs a sign, such as do not disturb, but this can be solved by calling the reception and everything is fixed. You can get through to a personal assistant and at the reception from 3 or even 4 times. When asked to book a table in a restaurant and call my room, I never received a call. When calculating, plan the time in advance - I was calculated at the check-out for almost an hour.
Otherwise, the hotel is wonderful, the rooms are cleaned thoroughly, 2 times a day, they are always wondering if everything is in order. The beach is also pleased, clean, spacious.
This hotel could be one of the best in the UAE, but the receptionist let us down, I don’t think that a discerning client will turn a blind eye to the strange attitude of the receptionists towards him, work on it!
