1. About the hotel: The hotel positions itself as 5 stars. Probably for Europe this is a weak 5, but there are more likely no complaints than there are . . The rooms are very large, there are many wardrobes and bedside tables where you can put things (oh, finally !! ). There is a refrigerator, free safe, TV with 2 Russian channels, kettle, hair dryer, air conditioning. From the so-called "options": bathrobes, disposable slippers, gels, shampoos, soap, cotton buds, needles and threads, a comb, a sponge for shoes, a shoehorn . . I can't say if gels and shampoos are reported, we had our own. Towels changed every day, bed every 3 days. It was so nice to see dogs, elephants, crocodile, etc. tied up from towels every day. What pleased the service: on the floor in the corridor there is an ironing board and iron (free of charge), so when you come to this hotel you don’t have to worry that your clothes will be wrinkled. Wi-Fi is everywhere and very good catches.
2. Meals: Reading reviews about the hotel, namely about food, I was struck that people write about the scarcity of food . . People, what is for breakfast at your house - 10 replaceable dishes ?? ? We took Breakfast and Dinner. I will say right away that you can take an all-inclusive system to this hotel. You need to check with the tour operator how much you can take cheaper from the tour operator or pay extra on the spot at the hotel. The all-inclusive supplement at the hotel costs 10 lev (5 euros) per day per person. It differs in that you have lunch and until 11 at night spirits (good champagne) and ice cream, as well as soft drinks. In the morning (when eating Z-C) you can drink coffee, tea, b / a drinks, in the evening the same. For breakfast there is porridge, muesli, cereals, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages (meat), sausages, fried bacon, cheeses, yogurts, pastries, fruits, vegetables, coffee, tea. It seems to me that you can not just eat up . . , but overeat (excuse my French). Do not impose yourself all at once in one day and then you can enjoy a varied breakfast every day))). For dinner, there is always a lot of meat, a lot of fresh vegetables, stewed, fish almost every day. Cutlets, kebabs, sausages and vegetables are always grilled on the street. As the dishes run out, they immediately take out new ones. No matter what time you come, everything is always there. The only food that is salty for my taste. There is a children's table. The hotel has animation and sports games. By the end of the season, it was rotten with an adult, it seemed like a child.
3. About the beach: Of course, the hotel was built in a very strange way: two buildings facing each other, between which there is a circular flowerbed and a road. And along this road everyone goes to the beach. The hotel area is not closed, each building has a swimming pool, one semi-closed, the other open, around the hotel's sun loungers. Honestly, we went down at 7 am and occupied sun loungers and umbrellas. Beach towels can be borrowed from the hotel with a deposit. Behind the sun loungers there was a small green lawn, then a footpath to the beaches and a descent to the sea . . It is believed that this is the hotel's beach, but everyone lies on it. The descent on the concrete stairs is comfortable. Sandy coastline of 5 meters, entry into the sea is gradual, so it is possible with small children. We lay by the pool, went swimming in the sea, then swam in the showers by the pool.
4. About the coast: the resort of St. Vlas is not big, but there are places to take a walk. You can go to the port of Marina (I’ll say right there for a big wallet), but it’s very beautiful. You can go to the pedestrian street with many restaurants and shops. Shops such as Chinese-Turkish textiles, Bulgarian cosmetics shops, etc. Restaurants for every budget, go to the street with the main one and it's cheaper there. There are many small supermarkets around the hotel, the prices are approximately the same. If you go out onto the main road, there will be a large supermarket "Mercury", where you can buy everything and at any price. We brought rakia as a gift, there is a huge selection, cheeses (siren, kashkaval). PRICES are really ridiculous compared to other Europe, especially where the euro goes. There is a bus stop on the way to Mercury. From there you can go to the neighboring towns of Sunny Beach (from there to Pomorie or Burgas), Nessebar (walk along the old Nessebar). Also, every 15 minutes, free minibuses drive up to water parks (there are two of them, they didn’t go themselves, but they look cool). We rented a car, a seven-seater minivan, 40 euros per day (ridiculous). We arrived at Sozop and Zheravna. I warn you, they do not have navigators, so stock up on navigators from home, or a map will save you, or if you use the Internet while traveling, then Yandex-navigator.
5. About people: I heard a lot that Bulgarians are rude towards Russians. Not once during the entire vacation did not experience rudeness and ignorance towards themselves. Bulgarians are kind and polite, they respond if you speak Russian with them. They are very sorry that the Russian tourist flow has decreased and they suffer greatly from this.
6. About duty-free: Everything is very expensive there, so if you want to take out something local (alcohol, cheeses or sausages), buy it in a supermarket and put it in your luggage.
7. I went to Bulgaria and was afraid that there would be a Soviet of Deputies . . But she made me happy, very pleased and I probably want to come back again!!! ! And probably this hotel.
In general, not disappointed for a moment, on the contrary - very happy. I especially want to mention the food, according to my parents, everything is very tasty and varied.
Last year there was an unfinished coastline (unfinished descent to the sea) and a slightly tiny beach from the hotel. But these are still minor shortcomings. Everything was more than compensated for by warm and clean sea water and excellent service. There are also 2 swimming pools on site.
I can recommend a decent option.
By the way, not all rooms have a sea view. I asked the reception for a floor above the 3rd and a quiet room NOT above the pool and NOT above the terrace of the restaurant. I got all this absolutely free of charge in room 1419 with a mountain view. Even the music from Sunny Beach was less audible)) I was well received - thanks, Martin and Stefan!
The food is varied, there is always a choice, there are always 2 or even 3 types of meat. There are always 2 types of soup. There was also fish, even a shark was served once. Fruits were also present - watermelon, melon, apples, nectarines, peaches, plums. The desserts were delicious. I was never hungry)) The waiters worked very quickly. Thanks Mario!
The hotel has two swimming pools - one more sunny, the other more shaded. On the first day, I couldn’t find a place under an umbrella ((I had to pack up faster and leave earlier. Three steps to the sea, the beach is public and free, but there are plans to make it a hotel)) There are lifeguards-watchers who are very vigilant)) Thank you, Dejan!
NO ANIMATION AT ALL! This was a big plus for me, because. no one around me jumped and turned on loud music at the pool)) There is only a kids club near the reception.
In the evening you can walk around the town of St. Vlas.
On the last day, I had to pay extra and move to a large room 1111 above the main entrance. The flight was delayed by 6 hours. Surcharge for extension - 20 lev for the first hour and 10 lev for each subsequent hour, i. е. 4 hours cost 50 lev. Thank you, Mariella and Venelin!
The construction of the second building is nearing completion, it should open in 2016.
All hotel staff are very attentive and friendly. Those who are older speak Russian well, young people communicate better in English. They always try to help and make your stay comfortable without extorting tips. They are at your discretion, but the staff will be pleased))
The general manager of the hotel constantly communicates with vacationers and asks what they like and what they don’t like. Thanks Giorgi!
In general, the vacation was a success and I really didn’t want to leave... A week turned out to be not enough. Next time I will try to stay longer.
Animation - Salut club, for adults it's card games in the evenings, but the games are not standard, they themselves came up with some, it seems to me. For children, this is drawing with them, etc. , for teenagers, board games.
The beach will be completed, they say, when the second building is built. It is above the shore, the sunbeds are on the platform....they sunbathe more next to this beach. And two more steps to go - the city's beautiful beach.
Sand, smooth entry, warm water, shallow. . .
The food is good, there is a "children's table", there is frying on an open fire for dinner, the choice is quite. Juices were really, well, the most unpleasant, but local alcohol and local forfeits and so on are quite normal, and they are "on". There is ice cream all the time, and they pour it all the time in bars, until late in the evening, companies are formed in the bars for this business.
Near Sunny Beach with restaurants, clubs and Nessebar, an interesting city in itself - there is a bus, 15 minutes from S. Beach to Vlas, 1.2 leva.
