1. Arrival. Since we spent the night on the eve In Odessa, we decided to leave for Gribovka in the morning (30 km). Before that, they called the administrator and asked if we could check in earlier than the prescribed 14:00? To which we were kindly answered that at 12:00 our room would be ready and we could come.
Arriving, we saw our "Barakuda" in its prime. Building 3 has been completed, the territory is small, but clean and well-groomed, there is a beautiful green oasis.
The number didn't disappoint either. We lived in a double room on the second floor. Everything was comfortable, very clean, no foreign smells. Beautiful sea view (visible from all rooms) as always adds a big plus. Everything you need was also in the room: a bed, a kettle, dishes, air conditioning, a refrigerator, a TV set, a hairdryer... In a word, cozy, modest, but pleasant.
2. Beach and sea. The sea and the beach are very pleased with their cleanliness. For those who like, as they say, "do not leave the cash desk" right at the foot of the hotel there is a beautiful sandy beach, those who want privacy can walk 50-100 m. The water in the sea was very clean, without any algae, jellyfish time in Odessa the water was dirty and green). The only thing is that due to the passing current in this place, it is not always warm, but as for me it is even better.
3. Food and entertainment. There are 2 cafes on the territory, although the menu is the same. The food is, let's say, normal, but without pretension to the restaurant. Ordinary home cooking. You can eat, but you get bored quickly. very limited menu. I would advise the owners to work on this issue. Nearby there are other bases where you can also eat for a change. But all the same, you can’t call it a restaurant, because cafes by the sea are on the principle of cheap and cheerful. Although I got excited about the cheap bill, the prices are the same as in a good restaurant in the center of Odessa. But you won't die of hunger, you can live.
There is no entertainment in the form of discos, clubs, restaurants, as you understand. The place is more for families with children. Youth and party-goers have nothing to do there.
From what I didn’t like, as I said, there are questions about food and lack of respect for vacationers to each other.
Considering that 99% of vacationers are families with children, the hotel is quite noisy due to the screaming of children. But this is normal given the profile of the hotel. It was very annoying that it was not possible to fall asleep with an open balcony until 2 am. Parents having put their children to bed began to hang out and yell in such a way that it was creepy, creepy. And they were not even embarrassed that they were waking up their own children. But this is probably more a claim not to the hotel staff, but to the education of vacationers. Although the administration, for its part, could establish some rules so that this would not happen. For example, that noisy events are allowed until 23:00, as an option.
In conclusion, I want to summarize the above and still give a high rating to "Barakuda" for the fact that since my first visit here it has only become better. I think this is a great merit of the owners of the base. Keep it up!! ! And of course, I want to recommend this base to everyone who wants to get a wonderful holiday by the sea, where the price-quality ratio is at a good level.

The balconies in the rooms are different. There is not much space in the closets. There were only 2 hangers. The bed is large and the mattress is comfortable for me. But there are no bedside tables near the beds. Not very comfortable. The hair dryer is missing.
The air conditioner blows well. What I did not like in the bathroom was the lack of a sufficient number of shelves and hangers. Too bad there was no phone in the rooms to order food in the room.
But this is a 2 * hotel... In general, in general, the rooms are normal.

I sweated. Now, after my sweat, someone will pull this blanket on their face, as in principle I pulled. On a large bed (we slept as a widow + child) one large sheet and one large blanket. Inconvenient and impractical. . .
There was a minimum of dishes in the room - we had 3 cups, a fork, 2 teaspoons and an opener))). The neighbor - instead of teaspoons - canteens, and instead of an opener a knife... Changed. Everything is done so that vacationers would eat in a restaurant. He begged for an additional deep bowl to make porridge for the child - the guard Vanya gave his (thanks to him), while the administrator shouted "Vanya, do you remember what the director said about the dishes... Territory. Nice, clean, a small playground, a cozy restaurant on the seashore, barbecues, parking (150 UAH / day, at a neighboring base 100 and even mine 60). Nearby there are two shops and a mini-market of 3-4 stalls of fruits, vegetables and all sorts of little things. Meat can be ordered at the rune from a guy named Oleg (200 UAH/kg of neck). On the market in Gribovka, necks are 160 UAH/kg. The nearest pharmacy is either in Karalino Bugaz and in Gribovka.
Nutrition. As already said - everything is done so that everyone eats in a restaurant. There is a complex - breakfast and lunch - 160 UAH / person. Portions are average, not super tasty, but quite edible. Restaurant on the seashore - everything is super, delicious, though in 6 days we tried almost all the cuisine, a little pall. Average prices - Caesar salad - 100 UAH, barbecue 300 gr - 150 UAH. Alcohol and drinks can be brought with you by arrangement.
Staff. Initially, before booking, I clarified with the administrator that we were arriving at 6 am (check-in after 13.00) with two children, I was assured that the children would be warm, food would either be cooked or warmed up, in general they would take care (come and don’t worry). We arrived in bad weather, rain, wind, temperature around 15C, terrible cold. No one met, knocked on the door to the administrator, to which they received an answer - I don’t know anything, my working day is from 9.00, check in after 13.00. There are no free rooms, hang out on the street. It was lucky that the cleaning girls took pity on us and let the children into the heat while cleaning the restaurant.

I sweated. Now, after my sweat, someone will pull this blanket on their face, as in principle I pulled. On a large bed (we slept as a widow + child) one large sheet and one large blanket. Inconvenient and impractical. . .
There was a minimum of dishes in the room - we had 3 cups, a fork, 2 teaspoons and an opener))). The neighbor - instead of teaspoons - canteens, and instead of an opener a knife... Changed. Everything is done so that vacationers would eat in a restaurant. He begged for an additional deep bowl to make porridge for the child - the guard Vanya gave his (thanks to him), while the administrator shouted "Vanya, do you remember what the director said about the dishes... "
Territory. Nice, clean, a small playground, a cozy restaurant on the seashore, barbecues, parking (150 UAH / day, at a neighboring base 100 and even mine 60). Nearby there are two shops and a mini-market of 3-4 stalls of fruits, vegetables and all sorts of little things. Meat can be ordered at the rune from a guy named Oleg (200 UAH/kg of neck). On the market in Gribovka, necks are 160 UAH/kg. The nearest pharmacy is either in Karalino Bugaz and in Gribovka.
Nutrition. As already said - everything is done so that everyone eats in a restaurant. There is a complex - breakfast and lunch - 160 UAH / person. Portions are average, not super tasty, but quite edible. Restaurant on the seashore - everything is super, delicious, though in 6 days we tried almost all the cuisine, a little pall. Average prices - Caesar salad - 100 UAH, barbecue 300 gr - 150 UAH. Alcohol and drinks can be brought with you by arrangement.
Staff. Initially, before booking, I clarified with the administrator that we were arriving at 6 am (check-in after 13.00) with two children, I was assured that the children would be warm, food would either be cooked or warmed up, in general they would take care (come and don’t worry). We arrived in bad weather, rain, wind, temperature around 15C, terrible cold. No one met, knocked on the door to the administrator, to which they received an answer - I don’t know anything, my working day is from 9.00, check in after 13.00. There are no free rooms, hang out on the street. It was lucky that the cleaning girls took pity on us and let the children into the heat while cleaning the restaurant.
In general, there are more minuses than pluses.

We arrived in the evening, the administrator's office was closed, we were looking for someone for a long time, after a call to the base phone, a person appeared, apologized that the administrator was ill, gave us the keys, showed us the number. Here I noticed a sign about the cost of parking - 100gr. per night. To my question (and we arrived by car, the site indicates free parking) - the person told me that this only applies to places directly at the building, the main parking lot is on the hill near the Dachnik boarding house, it’s free there, or rather they pay for parking themselves. I figured out the extra. expenses and drove the car up the hill. The room was not bad, but stuffy, we had air conditioning on almost all the time. Balcony - or rather a balcony, very small, there is a dryer for things, but you won’t be able to sit on the balcony in the evening, you can only stand. All sockets are hidden behind furniture, probably this design. There are no hangers, hooks in the bathroom, there is practically nowhere to hang things, we adapted to hang towels on a hanger in the corridor. In addition, even minor troubles were discovered - a broken shower and a non-working remote control from the air conditioner. It took 2 days to solve these problems - the administration did not have replaceable batteries, and they simply forgot about the shower.
The beach is sandy with lots of shells. The child really enjoyed collecting them. The sea is dirty, near the coastline there are a lot of algae, mud, jellyfish. In the evening, I tried not to pay attention to it, hoping that by morning everything would be in order. However, almost all days it was the same - early in the morning the suspension is smaller, by lunchtime you get the feeling that you are walking in a swamp.
Cafe "Barracuda" - the cuisine is very good, but difficult to achieve. On the evening of arrival, we went to dinner, of course, a little late - 21.30. We were immediately warned that the kitchen is open until 22.00. They offered to choose from the available, something fast. When we came there for lunch the next day, it turned out that all the tables were booked, and they were going to be served. In addition, the cafe is open from 9.00. , At first it serves the complexes, we were asked to wait for half an hour. Thanks to this, we tasted all the surrounding cafes and by the end of the week we knew where which dishes are tastier and what is the pricing policy (in short - Kyiv).

When I asked about the garbage, I received a stunning answer: “Take out the garbage yourself, the container is over there, if you need a bag for garbage, I will give it to you. ” As they say, further comments are superfluous. Considering that we rested for 6 days, the cleaning did not wait.
In general, if it were not for the excursions that we chose ourselves, the rest would have been ruined.
I am not going to Barracuda anymore, and I do not advise anyone to go there, especially if you have children with you.

"Barracuda" is located a 20-minute walk from the center of Gribovka, on the VERY seashore and is protected from the hustle and bustle by a high cliff. When I arrived, I saw what I wanted to see.
2. In the administration we were warmly welcomed and politely asked to wait 20 minutes until our room was cleaned. But before we had time to explore the territory, we had the keys to our 34 rooms on the 3rd floor in our hands. The room itself exceeded all our expectations. HUGE double room with everything you need. Each room had its own balcony with stunning sea views. And the perfect cleanliness and cozy atmosphere of the rooms created the impression of being at home. The air conditioner is one for two rooms, but with the interior door open, it did an excellent job, for me personally, this is only a plus, because. children often get sick from it. Bed linen, towels and dishes are clean. Change of linen and cleaning was carried out once every two weeks, but it was possible to order more often, although for a fee. I did not use these services, it is not difficult for me to sweep the sand after myself (the inventory was also in the room). Hot water and electricity were around the clock and every day.
3. We ate at the cafe "Barracuda" at the recreation center. Very cozy place. There is an open veranda with a small pond, a fountain, fish and turtles. The food is homemade, very tasty, but a bit pricey. You can save money if you take the complex. Very tasty draft beer, but with draft wine it's tense, I had to go to the market in the center of Gribovka. The waitresses are great, everything was always served at the ordered time.
4. Beach. The most important thing is that he was literally TWO steps away, or rather, we were on the beach. Clean (it was cleaned every morning by a special machine), sandy and wide. And for me, as for my mother, a very convenient and gradual entry into the sea was important. The water was mostly clear, although algae floated during the storm. Two or three days and the water again became clear.
Summing up, I want to say that "Barracuda" is exactly the place where I really rested both in body and soul, away from the hustle and bustle. For young people, of course, it’s boring, but for me it’s the most! I would love to come back here next year.
