I just recommend to go here to relax!
Noisy around the clock from the neighbors on the floor and from above
Administration doesn't care
Canceled while we were in flight
Conclusion: stay only if the choice is to spend the night on the street or in this hotel
The hotel rooms are comfortable, with a modern design, but no balconies. Tea/coffee accessories are updated every day (tea, coffee, white sugar, brown sugar, sugar substitute, cream), 0.5l. water / person, there is air conditioning, refrigerator, free internet.
There is a transfer to the beach and back - free of charge, but in a small minibus, there may not be enough seats for everyone, so we went to the beach by taxi and back by bus. The journey takes 15 minutes.
The beach is not equipped. There are no sun loungers, no mattresses. The beach is wide, there are not many people, light and clean sand.
Good restaurant, tasty and a fairly large selection of dishes took breakfast only.
The hotel is close to several supermarkets. Within walking distance of the park, lake and dancing fountains. Close to public transport. Dubai can be reached by public transport in 20 minutes.
The positives are that it is clean, the staff is friendly and always ready to help. A problem for our tourists in this hotel may be the lack of Russian-speaking staff.
The rooms are not big, but clean, white bedding. Sometimes they do not put the right amount of towels, but they bring it within 2 minutes on a call. There are no mini-cosmetics as such, there is liquid soap and shampoo on the wall in the shower.
dB, of course, plus the presence of a coffee set in the room.
Every day they give 2 bottles of water 0.5l. You can always give the cleaner $1 and you will be rewarded with 5 bottles of water)
Minus also a small parking lot at the hotel. If you arrive late, you need to get into the city parking lot and either get up at 8.00 to pay for it, or already go further.
The hotel is located not far from the center in the Pakistani district, on the street of interior design shops. Nearby there are supermarkets where you can buy just snacks and cooking. Prices are in the range of 2.5-15 dirhams per 100g. Ready food. Very convenient for those who did not take dinner.
As for the beach, all tourists are taken to the beach twice a day in coastal hotels.
Also, I want to give a couple of tips on car rental. First of all, you need to know that you must have international driving license with you, and this is not plastic, but a booklet, they give it out only to Tupolev, and they do it in 5 days. It is better to order a car through websites from Ukraine, then the price will be about $20 per day. Keep in mind, if you took a car of an average price category (Honda Accord - $ 35-40), it can be replaced with a less expensive one, but the money will not be returned. It makes sense to take either cheap or expensive, jeeps for $80.
You also need a bank card and $500 on it to block for 15 days.
If this is too expensive for you, you can ask Mila, a representative of the Travko tour operator, for help, she will give you the number of a rental company where you can take a car with only $ 200 blocked. But be careful when making a lease, note any damage and take a picture of the car. Demand that he come personally to pick up the car. There is another secret, find out for how long your bank allows blocking money, since the Sberbank of Russia (Ukrainian) blocks only for 8 days, and the company waits for fines for 15 days, in this case, bank employees will unblock your card before you have time remove the fine if you received it.
The room was cozy and clean, with two separate beds, with all accessories, even tea bags and creamer. The room was cleaned every day.
Since it was New Year's Eve, everything was decorated, bright, beautiful. Even in this heat it felt like a new year.
The hotel has restaurants, we only went for breakfast. Buffet, everything according to the standard, eggs of all kinds, cereals, fruits, etc. My daughter does not like oriental cuisine at all and decided to find a restaurant that is familiar to her. And we found such a restaurant near the public beach, a 5-minute walk in the Al Seef hotel with the beautiful name Kazan (association with our favorite city). The cuisine is Russian and Tatar, the dishes were very tasty like at home.
We really liked the manti and fish, large portions sometimes took one dish for two. Prices are good, not expensive.
The beach can be reached with a free shuttle, but we rented a car from the hotel, it's much more convenient. The sea was calm, warm and crystal clear, we enjoyed sunsets every day.
We visited the sights of the UAE, were delighted with the singing fountains, visited the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, one of the largest in the world, incredibly beautiful. Well, how can you come to the Emirates and not visit the Desert Safari, we got so many impressions. We bought all these excursions from the Shan Tours company located in the Summer Land hotel, a five-minute walk from the Kazan restaurant. The guides were very interesting. Buses are small, comfortable, always picked up on time.
A friend had a birthday on the day of arrival, the hotel gave her a cake, it was very nice.
The hotel does not have a beach, but on weekdays there is a shuttle to a free public beach. Water, clean, transparent, white sand, but no amenities.
Breakfasts are ordinary: scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, vegetables, fruits, meat, etc. We had lunch and dinner at the Kazan restaurant, you can recognize it by the flag of Tatarstan. Here are dishes of Russian and Tatar cuisine, everything is very tasty cooked, the waiters are smiling, good-natured. While waiting for dishes, you can look through magazines, they lie on the tables. We really liked the juicy kebab, the meat is very high quality. Also crazy about baking. This restaurant is located near the public beach (about 5 minutes walk) at the Al Seef Hotel.
Excursions were bought at the Summer Land Hotel (5 walk from the Kazan restaurant) from Shan Tours (there is a sign) on the advice of friends, they have the lowest prices, they have all the necessary licenses and documents, permission to carry out excursions, so it’s also safe. We visited 3 excursions: to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and to the Indian Ocean. Everything is well organized, the guides are competent, they tell interesting stories. Abu Dhabi strikes with its luxury.
In Sharjah, as well as in Dubai, there are singing fountains, not so chic, but worth a visit. It is expensive to travel by taxi, it is better to rent a car, be sure to bargain. The hotel has its own parking lot.
In general, for such money, the hotel is satisfied.
Near this hotel there are many shops and supermarkets. City Center is 10 minutes walk. I traveled around the city by taxi, they stand right next to the entrance of the hotel and the fare is inexpensive, the fee is only in local currency.
They settled me in 5 minutes, I did not pay any deposits.
The hotel itself is multi-storey, without its own territory of the hotel and the travel is inexpensive. On the 1st floor there is a reception, a restaurant, sofas, which are occupied, as there is free Wi-Fi at the reception. The hotel has three elevators, did not break.
I had a single room, everything is clean, no frills. Cleaned every day, but bed linen was not changed. And the room has everything you need.
Nutrition. The cost of the tour included only breakfast, the restaurant seemed small, but there was enough space for everyone. The food is rather monotonous, but I liked it.
The choice is not great, no frills, but delicious, thanks to the chefs, in general, the food is a solid four.
The beach is a bit far from the hotel, but the hotel has a shuttle service with a polite driver. They take to the beach for free, without amenities, I went to it from morning to 12 noon, as the heat begins. The sea is beautiful and clean, like in the Maldives. Bathed in a bathing suit.
The hotel does not have a pool and animation. There are a lot of vacationing girls in the burqa in the hotel, so the situation itself dictates the style of clothing. It is advisable for girls to cover their shoulders and knees to avoid sidelong glances.
On an excursion I went on one desert safari. I am very impressed with this adventure: jeep riding, watching the sunset, camel riding, dinner in the desert, and Murat was a good guide, it was very fun and interesting with him.
I’m also glad that I saved on the excursion by buying it from Shan Tours, it is a 5-minute walk from the beach at the SummerLand Hotel, there the girl at the counter in Dean’s headscarf will tell you everything.
Will I recommend this hotel, I will answer yes, for those who are considering a budget and relaxing holiday.
