I vacationed at Lu Lu Beach Resort 3* in January 2024, and, in general, I liked this hotel, although it is very old, built in 1993. The last renovation took place in 2019.
Nearby is the Sharjah Beach Hotel, it was built in 1978, has not been operating since 2020, and they say it will be demolished and a new hotel built in its place.
The reception has been well renovated, and there are nice people working there who tried to help with everything and responded to requests promptly. I don’t know whether they speak Russian, because I don’t have such a stupid habit of speaking Russian abroad.
Wifi is free and available throughout the hotel, even on the beach, it’s great!
There are transfers from the hotel to many malls in Sharjah and Dubai, so all conditions are created for shopping. Nearby there are shops for tourists and restaurants within walking distance.
I only had breakfast, and I was quite pleased with it.
The menu is usual: sausages, fried bacon, scrambled eggs, salads, side dishes, vegetables, fruits (oranges, watermelon, melon, apples), pastries, plenty of everything, everything is fresh and tasty. The restaurant is clean and cozy.
The beach is excellent, sand, umbrellas and sunbeds were enough. I read somewhere in previous reviews that there were supposedly not enough of them, but in January there were not so many people in the hotel, and everything was fine. Beach towels are provided upon entering the beach; You can change them every day. On the beach you will definitely be accosted by one Russian, very unpleasant and vulgar person of about 60 years old, who has clearly seen better times, and with traces of her former beauty on her face...She will begin to quite persistently force you to go shopping and get fur coats) )) Probably everyone already knows that this is just a team of NLP writers and manipulators, from whom it is impossible to fight off until you buy something in these stores, so do not fall for this bait. Someone stole my glasses on the beach, imagine!
For the first time, something was stolen from me in the emirates, and this is already my 15th visit to this country! I suspect the fat Russian women from the neighboring sunbeds.
I had a room, it seems, 401, overlooking the road, and next to the entrance to the hotel, on the 2nd floor, so everyone who smoked nearby created powerful smog in my room, from which I suffered greatly. It was necessary to change the room, but I didn’t immediately open the window and found people smoking, and then I was too lazy to move, because I only spent the night in the room...My room had a rather low ceiling, and the curtains smelt of mold and smoke, in general , it would be a good idea to wash them already, otherwise, apparently, they haven’t been washed since 2019, or even since 1993. Towels were changed every day, cleaning was also daily and thorough, bed linen was clean, shampoo and shower gel were provided in sufficient quantities and were of good quality.
The weather was so-so, the sea was cold, and there was a strong storm for several days, but what to do, it’s January.
On such cold days I went to the shops. Overall, the holiday was a success.
It would be good if tour operators would lower prices for tours, after all, it was good before, but now you have to pay for such average hotels, 3*, very expensive!
operator (the tour was taken from Anex) and delivered by transfer to the hotel. Because it was still too early to check in, we were sent for breakfast, things were left at the reception. After breakfast, we walked around the hotel and at 12 we went to the front desk.
Within half an hour we were settled in a room on the ground floor with access towards the pool and the beach. The room is small, but overall comfortable and well maintained. Everything you need was available, a little lacking a full-fledged closet, but in general they managed a chest of drawers. Cleaning was done every day, everything was added in the bathroom, towels were changed.
I liked the staff at the hotel. There were no Russian speakers, but many understood the Russian language, because. most of the tourists were Russian speakers.
Meals at the hotel we had two meals a day, because. We weren't planning on going anywhere. Hearty breakfasts in the morning, full dinners in the evening, could be changed for lunches, which we did.
In the area where the hotel is located, it is called Al Khalediya, there are some hotels on both sides of the road. Walked along the coastline. On the one hand, we reached the Oceanarium, this is in the area of u200bu200bthe city beach of Al Khan. There we visited the fish restaurant Sanobar, the place turned out to be dirty with rubber seafood on the menu. On the other hand, we reached the Red Castle Hotel, where there is a cooperative store (aka a supermarket in the common people). They tried their luck at Mandi's restaurant. Here, too, there is no run of negativity, they deceived in the account, the cockroaches are at home there.
In general, as I understand it, there is a problem with insects in the UAE. After such "successful" visits to local establishments, they no longer risked it. We went by transfer to the center, walked there, ate in Mack (from sin further). They also went to Dubai once, purely to replenish their horizons and brag at home to friends. )
By the way, I did not write about the beach. The hotel has it, fully equipped, towels are issued separately. I really didn’t like that people from city hotels were brought to the beach, there were a lot of people in the morning. The pool often saved from the crowds of people.
In general, we are satisfied with the rest. Still, rest is not work.
We arrived at the hotel early in the morning, settled quickly, the staff was friendly and Russian-speaking, which was very pleasing. The room was spacious, bright, had everything you need from consumer electronics to toiletries. Change of linen and cleaning every day.
They put themselves in order and went down for breakfast, there was a buffet of various dishes, juices, coffee, hearty and tasty.
Good location of the hotel, private beach. The sea is azure, warm white sand. Sunbeds and umbrellas in sufficient quantity, a clean pool, there is also a children's pool. Beach and pool service is good.
We visited the Kazan restaurant, located not far from our hotel in the Al Seef Hotel. A cozy, truly homely restaurant, we really liked it, the menu is varied, Russian-Tatar cuisine.
We ordered a kebab (meat is very juicy, tasty), manti (served with vegetables) and a salad. It was delicious, and most importantly inexpensive.
The hotel provides free shuttles to Sharjah and Dubai very convenient for shopping trips.
And the last days of our vacation, we decided to look at the sights, were on a sightseeing tour of Abu Dhabi, plunged into the past and present of the Arab Emirate, an amazing truly rich country. I fell in love with this country.
We bought excursions based on recommendations. The program was well written and the guides were knowledgeable. We were satisfied with the rest.
