Beach. The hotel does not have its own beach. right in front of the hotel there is a small paid beach, but it is best to walk along the Avala Resort hotel, where a passage is made in the rock to a good municipal beach. sun loungers and umbrellas for a fee, there is a bar on the beach. Coniferous villages grow around the beach. The Adriatic Sea is 2 times saltier than the Mediterranean and at the beginning of May it was very cold, although people were swimming, even small children. I had convulsions at the entrance to the sea, so I restrained myself.
Budva itself is very beautiful, the old town is simply mesmerizing, cozy streets, restaurants and bars. clean everywhere. a lot of Irish pubs.
restaurants - Italian or fish, very low prices. there are supermarkets, shops, car rental.
on weekends in front of the entrance to the old city, various shows, masquerades are held on the square. There is a promenade where you can rent a boat.
we rented cars for 8 days - we regretted the third one, since Montenegro is a very small country and we traveled all over it in 3 days, and no one returns money for cars.
Excursions: you can go to the Ostrog Monastery, it is located in the mountains, cut into a rock, it is best to go by bus, because the car is dumb - the road is steep, and the mustang convertible that we rented is a real tin can, which is not very maneuverable .
admire Splendid - the hotel of Luzhkov's wife did not work, because at the time of our stay in the country it was still being completed, but now it is the most expensive hotel in Montenegro.
the city of Duke Novy is somewhat reminiscent of Crimea, I would say the best side of Crimea - very beautiful, I didn’t even want to leave there.
Kotor resembled a city from the movie The Diamond Hand - stone, narrow streets, a central square with a chapel, small cozy cafes.
the most beautiful peninsula of St. Stephen, but they are not allowed there. you can admire it from the top road.
Lake Skadar is beautiful, but the long way to it was not justified - we got lost, and there are few signs on the road.
I really liked the cities of Bar and Ulcinj - they were built in oriental style, Ulcinj borders on Albania, 90% of the population are Muslims. wanted to go to Albania itself - they advised not to do this.
Montenegro itself, or rather, its government and citizens really want to join the European Union. The Cyrillic alphabet in the country was changed to the Latin alphabet, the currency is the euro, even in neighboring Croatia, which will be considered by the European Commission for entry 2 years earlier than Montenegro, the national currency still circulates.
