It was especially pleasant to have breakfast in the open air, surrounded by greenery and flowers. In reality - better than on promotional photos. The room was spacious, bright with a balcony overlooking the sea. Wake up in the morning to the sound of birds and the sound of the sea. Everything worked properly. Cleaning - every day, change of bedding and towels - 3 days. Breakfast - buffet, many dishes, omelettes, casseroles, potatoes, pasta, jams, honey, breakfast cereals, sausages, sausages (delicious), vegetables, cheese, olives, various pastries, cherries, juices, tea, coffee. Waiters provide good service. Of the minuses, far from the central beach, about half an hour walk, but we used this moment as a walk. There are many cafes on the beach where you can eat tasty and inexpensive. Sozopol is the best place in Bulgaria to relax, and in such a hotel doubly so!

PROS
- to the sea 5 min. on foot. do not cross the road. The sea is super-sand. gentle descent into the sea. The sunbeds are comfortable - 6 leva per day. Toilet on the beach. locker room, shower, lifeguards, bar. The beach is not big. quite quiet, without music, moronic animators, etc.
- in the hotel swimming pool, sun loungers, shower, restaurant. Breakfast - I recommend. Especially delicious local cheese and tomatoes. Lunch and dinner I advise you to take a buffet - order the same thing from the menu, but more expensive)) On the menu, you should take shrimp, mussels, etc.
- cleaned cleanly, linen and towels are changed on the third day.
- 15 - 20 minutes walk - to the main city - there is a sea of shops, cafes, entertainment, etc. We bought excellent inexpensive clothes, ate delicious treats. On Apolonia Street we recommend MEKHANA "Sozopol" - I have not eaten such vegetable caviar anywhere else, super sea food.
TV - 4 Russian programs, refrigerator, air conditioning
- across the road - supermarket - there are products. souvenirs, rose oil cosmetics.
- the guides are polite, work well, went on excursions - I liked it
MONEY - only Levs are accepted everywhere. Cards are not everywhere. I advise you to exchange only in the official. exchangers
MINUSES
For some reason there was no soap, shampoo, etc.
- there is no water cooler, only in the restaurant, where it is not always possible to use it.
- internet not working
In general, we are satisfied!

The sea is nearby - only 100 steps. Everywhere is clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They understand Russian, there were no problems. There are places to go in the evening. You can choose the tour you like. There is no noise. And everything is provided for children. Many were with children. We were satisfied with the rest.

The hotel was chosen based on the reviews on the site. In principle, everything corresponds to reality. The sea is nearby, the breakfasts are good, as for 3 *, the rooms are cleaned daily. Of the minuses: it takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the nearest restaurant, children's carousels along a very busy highway, the windows of the rooms "with a view of the park" overlook this very route, so at night it is possible to sleep only with the windows completely closed and the air conditioner on. … More ▾ The hotel was chosen based on the reviews on the site. Every day is almost the same, but the choice is large: 3 types of dry breakfasts, 3 types of scrambled eggs, sausages, cheeses, pastries and other little things, so our company (8 people) had enough variety, everyone was satisfied. The rooms are neat, they are cleaned every day, my husband and sons and I lived in a separate house in the apartment, we were cleaned every other day. In general, the hotel consists of several houses, or is it one owner of several small hotels, we didn’t quite understand, but our company was settled in three different houses.
The hotel is located 15-20 minutes walk from the center, we like to walk, it was convenient for us, the beach is right next to the hotel, 30 meters to go. The hotel seems to be the second line, but nothing has been built in front of it yet. Directly opposite the hotel there is a supermarket, we sometimes bought groceries there and ate in the apartments, there is a kitchen with a full set of utensils.
To the left of the hotel is the Flamingo cafe, there is an interesting program in the evenings with dancing on the coals, I recommend it, the cafe is inexpensive.
At the hotel, they speak Russian at the reception, everyone is very nice, except for one vile woman, and the guides can’t stand her, so it’s just better not to approach her shift if possible. She is overweight with curly hair, small in stature.
The new hotel manager is the owner’s son, the guide told us so, he is very happy for his hotel, he solves any problems in favor of the guests, so I don’t agree with previous reviews in this sense, all our questions were resolved instantly.
I was very pleased with the hotel and I also want to express my gratitude to the guide Irina, the representative of the meeting party of the Tural company, a very good woman and professional.

I rested alone, I wanted peace, solitude, swimming in the sea. No discos, performances and women. Got what I wanted. Was satisfied. The hotel is well located: on the one hand, away from the noisy center with a good, half-empty beach very close, with very clean water and "smells like the sea" from algae (which is not everywhere), on the other, the city center is 30 min. Walking is a good walk in the evenings (it's not scary to walk even at night - tea is not Abkhazia). Sozopol is a beautiful town with an interesting history - I advise you to read it before your trip: the Romans brought progress to Paris and London, but destruction to Sozopol, because. with progress they had and before the Romans everything was in order.
The food is good - I recommend taking a BB-"bed and breackfast", having dinner for money in the same place or in another place. "HB" is not profitable to take, because. these are coupons for 14 leva, which must be spent on a given day. If you take a smaller amount, there will be no change. Food in Bulgaria is inexpensive: if you have a buffet in the morning and you "without prejudice" to eat for two, then you will also have enough 10 leva = 5 euros for dinner. Money can be taken in rubles and exchanged at the airport. The rest can be exchanged back there.
Life at the hotel is organized in such a way that you can’t see anyone at all, neither vacationers nor staff (I’ve met this, well, except in Miami). The staff is normal, unobtrusive. He speaks Russian badly, English is even worse, but there is nothing to talk about, because. everything is well organized. Calls from the hotel are free via Skype if you have a Smartphone with WiFi (works directly from your room).
Do not take a room with "Park view" - it does not overlook the park, but with a view of the road: cars rarely drive (and like us, not always with a silencer), and therefore wake up at night.
September (especially the 2nd half) - no longer a swimming season in the Black Sea 22 degrees - cool water

Clean, everything you need is available, cleaned thoroughly, decent linen (i. e. , the lowest level of staff performs their duties, there are no complaints). The girls at the reception, with rare exceptions, are completely insane. In Russian, no boom-boom. They, of course, they are not required to know Russian perfectly, but the minimum that would allow them to communicate normally with guests should be available.
Those who are going to this hotel: keep in mind that, it turns out, where the windows will go, you need to agree in advance with the travel agent. And, accordingly, the price will be different. We were put in a room with a balcony overlooking the road. I drive very hard... , and even with a view of the garbage cans. We wanted to pay extra and take a quieter room, but the administration rested tightly, they say there are no free rooms. (announcement of free rooms in the hotel on the pillar in the most prominent place in front of the hotel). During the day it is still tolerable, but at night it is impossible to sleep with an open balcony. We slept with the air conditioner closed. As a result, cough, runny nose, herpes...
I must say that the attitude towards the Germans and the British, of whom there were enough, is completely different - backbends with curtsies.
We had a plane at 11.20, so we offered money for one more day, so as not to hang out in the heat all day waiting for the transfer. (I repeat that there were free rooms in the hotel). We were categorically refused. They checked out like everywhere else at 12.00, left the luggage in the reception room, left to "hang out. " the last moment, wanting to get rid of already unnecessary lions. Only the "girl from the reception" could do this, because. only we left, and no one entered the room except for her.
So Russian tourists beware! Do not expect free goodwill, but even for money you will not get it.

For children in the evening there is a small amusement park near the hotel. In addition to the Bulgarians and Russians, there are many Germans and Englishmen in the hotel. Married couples without children or with children. There are almost no youth companies. In general, the hotel is quiet. The room is cozy with a large balcony. Park View, as we ordered - this is a fiction, since there is only on the street or on the sea. Most of the rooms (like ours with a sea view). The room has air conditioning and a TV with 1 (at least) Russian channel, which shows good entertaining films. Linen was changed 3 times in 11 days, towels - every other day. Room cleaning - no complaints. The restaurant is ordinary, with dishes, as in the whole city. Breakfast is included in the accommodation, and lunch and dinner are available for a fee with a 10% discount for guests. Safe at reception. The ladies at the reception are very friendly, if there is a problem, they help, they quickly solve it. The hotel has two small clean pools, we swam in them without consequences. There is a beach at the hotel, but we did not like to swim there because there are a lot of algae. We walked to Harmanite beach for 10 minutes - there is excellent swimming, this beach is better than the central one in Sozopol, Burgas and Nessebar: sand, almost no algae and normal depth - not shallow and not deep. Sozopol is a decent seaside town. It is presented as a city of intellectuals, therefore, the Bulgarian Koktebel. Every evening there are some performances: in the city center in the summer theater and on the main street, but we just walked. Probably, the main entertainment for everyone there is shopping: you can buy anything, including a lot of silver, prices are lower than in Moscow. By the way, about the currency. In Sozopol they exchange for levs and euros and dollars and rubles. (for 100 euros 191 levs, for 10 rubles - 0.43 stotinki) corresponds to the world market. (But thanks for the advice to change the euro: I did not lower the dollars and bought the euro). There, both in banks and in exchangers, they change honestly without a commission, but in Nessebar I watched the scene that you warned about:
the woman demanded to return the money, indignant that it was written - without a commission, but they took the commission, how it ended - she did not understand.
The only stress is the flight from Burgas. For Non Shengen area - a small hall full of people with huge queues. The secret is that you can go through passport control in the Shengen area, where everything is "for people": there is a lot of space, and the suitcase can be wrapped in film, and the queue for passport control is short.

1. In Sozopol there is a hotel Selena, there is also Selena Beach. Both are 3 *, which is why the Internet gives them out on request in a bunch. Drivers also strive to confuse hotels.
Selena Beach3* is located on Via Pontica. It is about 1 km from "Veselaya street", the local "Deribasovskaya".
So, a surprise from the hotel: Selena Beach actually lodges its guests in a nearby villa, Vila Pontica. In Selena, places are busy - live, dear guests, side by side. No one bothered to announce this in advance. It's like the second building of the hotel. But what was the point then for us to look at the pictures of the Selena Beach Hotel ???
Surprise No. 2: instead of the paid 2 double rooms for 4 tourists, the hotel administration provides one apartment type room.
This is a 2-room suite with one toilet/shower.
The question is, why should I go on my vacation, for my own money, this hostel ?? ? In general, the Bulgarians could not clearly explain where our rooms paid for according to the early booking scheme were. True, then there was information that tourists from Scandinavia had stopped by and therefore the rooms were occupied.
I assume that the Bulgarians were seized with a thirst for profit and our rooms were presold, and they decided to simply "compact" us, settling in 1 room. But such a number did not work with the young ladies from Odessa.
The administration, realizing the seriousness of our intentions to call the Bulgarian and Odessa tour operator, cheerfully offered for two a 2-bed room at the Relax Hotel, which is 15 meters from Selena. By the way, in fact it is "Relax" in the 1st line, and not Selena or her appendage Vila Pontica. These two hotels got the 1st line partially and by accident - it’s just that there is a building site in front of them, a kind of wasteland (of which there are a couple more nearby, because the area is freshly built), through which you go, by the way, to the beach. As soon as the hotel is built, no one else will see the sea from the Selena. Even now only a part of it is visible because of the first line of hotels...
Regarding the "lush garden surrounding the hotel" - there is no garden. There are well-groomed plants on the territory. And a very nice pavilion. And a playground - 1 for a slide + 1 for a swing. Wifi is good though. : )
By the way, God forbid you fall for the "park side" - it's just windows overlooking the road. The road is flush with the windows of the 2nd floor, walking tourists, Bulgarian drivers who like to honk - the pleasure is extremely doubtful.
About the restaurant. Not even 3 stars, but 2. The waiters are proud birds, you won’t kick, they won’t move. Girls are faster than guys. Those generally periodically become deaf and dumb and just stupidly silent.

About language. The local population of 30 and older speaks excellent Russian. Young people are trying to show off and pretend that they understand only Bulgarian and English. . It's strange to see this in a Slavic country. . . And it's sad. How long have they become such Englishmen???
Well, okay . . In the form of compensation for our relocation and a broken company, the hotel management, at our insistence, gave us a 15% discount to the restaurant. Not offended guests were given 10%. We were constantly asked if we were satisfied with everything, etc.
The host country (Aya Tour) on the penultimate day sent its employee, who was supposed to accommodate us. He says he was sick. He dragged a case of wine in the form of compensation.
I must tell you that although the Bulgarians screwed up, they tried to correct the situation, especially after a call from the Kiev representative of Gamalia, from whom we took the tour. That was the situation.
By the way, be careful with the kitchen in the hotel - once they served sour fish soup. Returned back. They also served sour eggplant caviar. In general, what is prepared in advance can "play up". The rest of the dishes are normal, tasty, at reasonable prices.
Breakfast buffet: brynza-cheese-olives-tomatoes-cucumbers-sausages-scrambled eggs-fruits-pastry. Not luxurious, but quite edible and in sufficient quantity. Reminds me of Turkey.
I can say in summary: a holiday in Bulgaria is good, it is quite suitable for youth companies and moms and dads with children. Not expensive, no language barrier, warm sea, wide beaches. Rooms are cleaned daily, tips are not taken, towels are changed on time. .
Of the minuses - a tiring bus ride and unforeseen surprises from hotel employees.

Everywhere live music and good food at reasonable prices.
