We went as a family (Dad, Mom, boys aged 15 and 7) for the first time abroad, so we chose: 1. a car (it's easier to fill one car than buy four tickets); 2. Bulgaria (because it is closer by car). There are nuances regarding traveling by car, but a review of the hotel, so ask such questions separately. The hotel is located on the Varna-Burgas highway, at the exit from Obzor (having twisted around the center, I asked the taxi driver near the market).

There are nuances regarding traveling by car, but a review of the hotel, so ask such questions separately.
The hotel is located on the Varna-Burgas highway, at the exit from Obzor (having twisted around the center, I asked the taxi driver near the market). The receptionist girl speaks Bulgarian (probably good) and English (it seemed bad to me). The territory of the complex is large, and Wi-Fi (separate) works: 1. in the lobby (reception), 2. near the pool and 3. in the restaurant. We did not catch in the room!! ! There are actually four complexes (buildings) on the territory, I think this is due to the fact that they have different (in size, furnishings, etc. ) rooms. Along the perimeter of the complex there is a car path with a roadside parking lot, there were always free places for cars despite the large (as it seemed to me) number of rooms. In fact, there are three pools: 1. for children, depth (approximately) 20-50 cm, 2 and 3 depth 120-150 cm. connected, they differ only in size. Near the pool there are enough sun loungers, there are umbrellas. Across the street from the hotel is a shop with very democratic (comparatively) prices.
Number. Studio (photos on the site correspond to reality). In the room: entrance hall, bathroom with toilet-shower-washbasin, kitchen with stove, toaster, electric kettle, microwave, refrigerator (small) and washing machine. Almost all the appliances (glasses, cups, plates, spoons and forks) were, BUT a saucepan for ONE liter and begging for a larger one was not easy. Further, a TV with cable channels (Bulgarian, one or two Polish-Romanian and about a dozen Russian). Table, chairs, coffee table, two bedside tables and an ironing board (iron and hair dryer). There is a hair dryer in the room, but the outlet is far from the mirror. There is also a balcony (chik), on the balcony there is a plastic table and two chairs. In my subjective opinion, the air conditioning is not very well located because it blows on the beds on which the children were supposed to sleep. You can't see the TV from the double bed.
Nutrition. Ordered breakfast. Breakfast at the restaurant on site. The service is pleasant, although the same polyglots as the administrator. At the same time, the menu is in three languages (Bulgarian, Russian and English) and contains photographs. For breakfast, they served either 1. something meat like sausages, vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers and a couple of times olives) necessarily cheese or 2. scrambled eggs, which is already with cheese and vegetables, as well as: tea, coffee, butter, jam, a couple of times pate. What to drink (tea-coffee) they ask, but if you drink tea, you definitely need to clarify which one, because they brought us "bilko" (Bulgarian herbal-floral? , I didn't like it). The children did not eat cheese. On the day of arrival, the family had dinner at the hotel restaurant - 65 leva (the main course, two salads, drinks for children, a bottle of wine for parents). Then we had dinner again in the hotel restaurant (something around 45 leva). We dined in the city, in restaurants, fast food in the market (25 leva for four and two glasses of beer), bought grilled chicken (8.50 - 10 leva) and dined in the room.
Sea. To the sea you need to go through the city. If you go along the road, then about 1500m. (1.5 km. ). There are two (long) blocks from the complex, two (not very long) blocks to the right, a passage to the right (like one but a long block) and all this is downhill (that is, back NOT downhill). On the second day, they found a shorter road: to the gas station, to the right and winding through wastelands and children's camps (a legacy of socialism), past the Aurora complex (it is difficult to calculate the distance, you can see the road on Google maps), but with the children they reached in 20 minutes. From the hotel "Aurora" went to the right, 300-500 meters (according to mood), there the beach is free, there are fewer people, more space.
The sea itself is very pleasant, clean beach, no algae, jellyfish, moderately sloping coast.
Money. Having refueled to the eyeballs in Ukraine, another 50 liters in Bulgaria (grunted a little) drove to Ukraine and immediately refueled. Without fanaticism (every day or beer or wine in moderation), a couple of magnets for friends, a pair of swimming goggles and inflatable sleeves for a child (he is about a meter tall, see "pool depth"), fruits and vegetables on the market. Total 9500 UAH. tour operator for visas and accommodation, 150 Romanian lei, 1500 UAH. (paid with a bank card) and exchanged 300 US dollars for levs on the spot (I can tell the result, but what went for fuel, what for travel (vignettes) and what for food is difficult to calculate).
As a result, everyone was tanned and satisfied!

The room is beautiful, the kitchen is equipped, the cleaning is mediocre, you had to clean it yourself, in general, everyone was satisfied, there is a good and inexpensive restaurant on the territory.
