We rested with my husband together. In principle, we liked everything. But there are drawbacks. Fans of a calm, family, quiet vacation should go to Hainan. There you will not see noisy discos, night bars, etc. We are calm people, so we felt good. We rested at the Guest House hotel. We knew in advance that it was not on the first coastline, so we were not upset at all.

The first days we went to the beach on foot - we studied the territory. Along the way, there are many shops where they sell various nonsense (tea, souvenirs, clothes, food, alcohol. When they got tired, they began to drive from the hotel by car. The car runs on schedule, every half hour, but we didn’t wait, we approached the reception or the security guard on the beach and ordered a car. No one has ever refused us. The hotel itself is basically normal. Moreover, this is not Turkey, and not Egypt, where it is not necessary to leave the hotel. . m. , but in reality it was much smaller. Ordinary standard room, only the view from the window is better. Furniture, plumbing are new, there was nothing to complain about. Every day they bring two cans of beer and two bottles of water. True, they wanted to take a couple with beer, they said that the hotel ended. We didn’t suffer much about this, because the beer is brought the cheapest and most worthless. The hotel area is small. There are two swimming pools. We are not fans of chlorinated water, so we preferred to swim in the sea. sun lounger There was always enough for us. The only negative is the locals, they come every day to put up tents on the shore and rest. This is the most unpleasant thing. I’ll tell you about the Chinese separately, a little later. The breakfasts at the hotel are standard. We woke up late and came for breakfast 15 minutes before it ended, but we always ate enough, and there was always enough fruit and food. The hotel is located in Dadonghai Bay. It is considered the noisiest. I don’t know then what is happening in the other bays, but in ours at 00:30 you almost never meet anyone on the street. Cafes and restaurants are no longer working. There are a lot of cafes in the bay for every taste. There is also Chinese food , there is also European. Most often we went to "Kievskaya Rus", or to "Karavel". The prices are quite reasonable. You need to order one serving for two. This will be enough to eat. slightly more. They mostly drank beer, the rest of the alcohol is terrible. Beer costs in stores from 4 to 8 yuan. prices in cafes and shops are the most normal. Those who rested in the bays of Sanya and Yalunvan came to our place to eat by taxi and it was cheaper than eating there.
And now about the most unpleasant thing. And the most unpleasant thing in China is the Chinese. People without complexes can sneeze (the louder the better), burp and fulfill other natural needs without being embarrassed by anyone. They don’t come to the beach to relax, but to take pictures of Russian tourists. They take pictures of everything and everyone, on cell phones, on good cameras. terribly annoying. If there are more than three people, then get ready that in a minute it will be very noisy... We thought that there would be problems with knowledge of the language, but they were not. In shops and cafes, as a rule, there is always someone who understands Russian.
We went on an excursion to the center of Buddhism on our own (this is the only worthwhile excursion offered), without a guide. There by taxi, back on a blue bus without a number, with an elephant on its side. It turned out much cheaper and better than with a tour operator. I really liked the center, beautiful , very well-groomed territory. We also swept to Yalunvan Bay. We wanted to admire its vaunted snow-white, deserted beaches. hotel beach.
In general, we liked the rest, despite the Chinese. Hainan is worth a trip once. Probably not worth more. There are so many beautiful places on our planet !!!! !

We traveled from December 12-24, there were 5 sunny days, and for 2 days we generally passed in down jackets before it was cold. When we arrived at the hotel, my husband was in deep shock and asked how much money we paid for it... Very simple architecture, and the pool is played with a simple waterfall and that's it, the greenery of the flowers is symbolic.

When we arrived at the hotel, my husband was in deep shock and asked how much money we paid for it... Very simple architecture, and the pool is played with a simple waterfall and that's it, the greenery of the flowers is symbolic. The room is old with a facelift, the usual, one Russian channel and free internet. The hotel is not located on the 2nd line, as the tour agency promised, where you need to "cross the road and immediately the sea", but probably on the 4th, you had to cross the road 3. And even then it was problematic with the movement of China. Where they don’t slow down on a green light despite passing pedestrians and strollers with children, and on these roads the hotel didn’t even have traffic lights. Moreover, it is customary for them to ride motorcycles without headlights in the opposite direction, so each road crossing was a nervous stress, you need to look in all directions at once, and in the dark (the roads are not lit in the evening) you can’t see anything. The hotel does not have its own territory to walk nowhere, retsepshen and access to the street and all. Electric cars that "were supposed to carry people to the sea in 15 minutes" for some reason did not work, in 12 days we swept 3 times and then waited for him for 20 minutes. And from the sea, in general, he was only seen once. There were no plates of fruit and beer promised by the agency for 2 people every day, once they only brought 2 beers and that's it. There were 4 free tea bags in the room, but they were replaced with new ones after 5 days, but there were always paid bags for 30 rubles per bag (it's funny in China they regretted tea) and water 300 ml per day per person. The guide told us that in China no one takes a tip, but then the boy who brought the bags to the room asked for money)) and the maid took it every day, although her cleaning consisted of moving a dirty rag across the floor and making the bed, cleaning up on the lockers and washing the glasses of our tips was probably not enough, so every morning I did the cleaning myself. And then I accidentally walked barefoot on the "clean" half-heels were black....At night, local frogs croaked as if someone was beating a tambourine with force, my husband first went out to see who was thundering like that. But we were still lucky, around the clock construction of 3 huge buildings is underway near the sea and people did not sleep at night in 5 * hotels. (Near Intime)
Breakfasts were standard, for a Russian person only 2-3 dishes of acceptable sausages with potatoes and rice with noodles. And then a boy from the reception came up to us so that we could help him write an ad correctly in Russian, so that they would not take out food from the restaurant (this is standard) and that they ate little. To which we said that this is not written.
Beach. Umbrellas and deck chairs for free. Imagine the beach and the crowds of Chinese on them, no rest. Moreover, it is customary for them to chew some kind of red rubbish and spit it all the time. That is, during every 20 seconds, you are harking around you. It's disgusting as hell. And all the floors in this red bullshit. And it’s also customary to talk very loudly like deaf people, they sit next to each other and yell at each other, and it doesn’t matter that people on the beach are relaxing, lying asleep. Sheer lack of culture, and it is customary to sneeze backhand so that the entire buffet in the restaurant and the Chinese sit normally look at it, and our women can clearly see that they are turning green from this. And then I realized that there are so many of them in number that our tourists are imperceptible in the general mass. And it is not necessary to reckon with us. In general, China is not competitive with Thailand either in relation to tourists or hotels. But this is purely my subjective opinion.
Excursions. We ourselves went to Nanshan on a blue bus with an elephant on its side for 1.5 hours one way, the entrance costs 850 rubles per person. Expensive, the park is beautiful, the views are beautiful found. But these places were not shown on the map, I don’t know if it was possible to walk there. (If you stand facing Guailin, then go right and where the map ends for another 2 km. )
Thermal springs, many are delighted with them. But I was disappointed, small pools of Soviet blue tiles with unclear, dirty hot water and a bag of dry grass dangling in it. If you sniff at the bag, it smells remotely of jasmine, for example, but the whole bath, sorry, no. I sat in 2-3 baths and with fish, they are also an amateur. And I gave a thousand rubles for it and another 500 for a taxi.
I also want to say a few words about street vendors and children running out of every corner and hanging on you and walking with you and nasalizing half the road so that you buy flowers from them. Or we are sitting with a cafe and suddenly a child runs in and hangs on his arm with a fork raised to his mouth. For Kuna to buy flowers.
So if you want to experience all the above charms of China and this hotel, you are welcome.
